Creators of all kinds join in the Festival where you will find stalls of items, bargains and exclusives,  "one off "auctions and hunts.
We still have some spots for merchants looking for a stall at the event and would also be delighted to hear from entertainers ( live artists, dance troupes, djs etc) willing to offer their time to make the Festival a success.
Registration is open to any merchant large or small but please note content has to be kept moderate.

This Festival runs between July 14th-30th and more details and information on applications can be found at
For further information please contact Amythe Moonlight or Kushi Vyper ingame

Carbon nanotubes and other nanotechnology are only just beginning to affect our lives.  Scientists have just scratched the surface when it comes to their application.  What will we see in the future?

Carbon nanotechnology may lead to a world where nothing ever breaks down and where nothing ever gets dirty.  Imagine a world where no one needs to replace any machinery, where everything is always as perfect as when it was first made.

What effect would the unbreakable world have on the economy?  What effect would it have on our daily lives?  And what will happen when someone thinks of a method of mass production of nanotechnology?

Are manufacturing companies worried?  Should they be?  Should we be worried?  Or will it mean a world where we have less money but need fewer things, where we all work less and have more free time?

Come and talk about living in an unbreakable world.

Caravanserai 1: A Silk Road Celebration of the Arts

East and West meet along the Silk Road in a project to be featured during this month's MOOC 2017 in Second Life.

"The desert sands lead on, but look ahead -
a palace of bright tents and green date palms
where camel backs can crumple knee bones down.
An oasis waits beneath the desert moon.".

Dr Chris Mooney Singh (Singh Albatros) of The Writers Centre, Singapore and Scott Grant (Kaylee West) of Monash University in Melbourne Australia come together to create an event celebrating the connective cultural thread that is the legendary Silk Road - Caravanserai 1.  In a desert oasis setting, they have brought together artists from around the grid for storytelling, drama, song, and machinima, to be followed by a panel discussion of the value of virtual arts in education.  The performance will take place Saturday, June 24th at 7am slt.

It is time to get out your glamorous gown or get that tux pressed for the gala event of the season.
It is the 1st year anniversary of Origen's Chinese Playhouse in SL. Who better to celebrate with than the girl who started it all. Last year, The Pink Vampire opened The Chinese Playhouse; and we are so honored to have her back to do a special show based on the musical stars who have their hand and footprints in the cement in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater in California. This is Hollywood as we all think of it: glamorous stars, fantastic music and the only person in SL who could do it justice – The Pink Vampire! This will be a one-time only event. It is formal or cocktail attire.
