The phase of the moon kept the werewolves away, but vampires and fairies came out to play on July 2 with SL's Saturday night mistress of hiphop, DJ Nisa on Black Soul Rhythms Radio, at the Fangtasia Club http://slurl.com/secondlife/hypnotic/70/22/25 in Hypnotic. BSR's Bobbie Naidoo was hostess, presiding over a major event with dozens in attendance.
Started in October 2010, this is a vampire sim, but there is no hunting and no biting. The True Blood clan has both vampires and humans as members and they "all just like to hang out, attend events and have a good time." Your reporter was hesitant despite this reassurance in the sim info card, but quickly found it to be accurate. The atmosphere was casual, friendly, and open, and signs on the wall declared, "No biting on premises".

This creative DJ from RL New Jersey has been producing radio shows for BSR Radio for more than a month and already commands an audience when he does his live events in SecondLife. BSR RADIO: Give us a brief synopsis of your DJ experience??
SEAN NAMORI: well im an up and coming radio dj(because believe or not we now have different types of djs in this day an age , i thought we all were in one category but hey lol ) learning as much as i can to become better at what i do . i havent had much experience (unless u count sneaking onto my dad's turntables and making my own mixes while he was away at work hehe.) .music is my life and i love sharing what moves me to my audience. growing up around music and watching my dad dj kept me infused into all music. mixing and creating music was awesome for me to watch. to this day i still get chills when i hear a live band or a good song . and with that foundation i think my skills will grow as a dj.

It’s always a pleasure meeting new people in Second Life and finding out what they are all about.Recently, I caught up with SLE Spotlight Drawing Winner Kaino Hotspot, after a BSR/ SLE sponsored Chill Lounge party.Going in I had no clue what to ask but when we met up at his home. It was like walking up inside of MTV Cribs, except he wasn’t showing me all around pointing out his garage full of pimped out rides and walls of self portraits and awards. He was more the laid back type, the kind of SLebrity, you’d actually want to hang out with.
I tried to respect others time so I try to keep my interviews an hour, so I knew I didn’t have much time to think up questions so I just went with the flow of the conversation and here’s how it went down.
