Spotlight on Seduction Estates: An Adult Themed SIM for the Grown and Sexy- Rere Sandalwood Reporting…

Many of us know the SIMS we can go to when we get horny, but do we know where to go when we crave the kind of sexual contact that conveys intimacy and warmth?  If you are still befuddled by this question, then you may need to pay a visit to MrJazz Melody and Mrs.StormLove’s Seduction Estates.

The last time the SL Enquirer paid a visit to the Estates, the SIM was in the process of being renovated to house the Seduction Club, as well as a mall, an Adult Beach with a live stage, and a romantic restaurant.  When asked what prompted the Seduction Estate renovations, Mrs.StormLove says, “[MrJazz Melody and I] wanted more of a Beach appeal and feel to the SIM.  [We desired to create]…a clean yet naughty place for those who enjoy class and style.”  In addition, Storm contends that she and MrJazz also wanted an Adult Beach where people could freely express their sexual desires in an environment that conveys openness and warmth.

This desire to show the connection between sexuality, desire, and warmth is a very rare thing to find on an adult-themed SIM.  This is because often, the commodity sold is solely sex, which excludes the inclusion of all the characteristics intrinsic in creating intimacy.  While many may think this to be appealing, the true romantic who yearns for something more than physical contact may be pleasantly surprised by the warmth and family feel they encounter at Seduction Estates.  Yet all surprises aside, The Seduction Estates reminds a person that they should EXPECT this kind of treatment at an Adult-themed SIM…

When asked about what made the Seduction Estates Adult-themed beach so different from other SL beaches, Mrs.StormLove contends, “[We have created a] beach designed with EVERYONE in mind…[our aim is] to appeal to all cultures…whether you want to stand around and chat in the nude [or] have open sex with your partner by the waterfall and moonlight, [the] Pure Ecstasy Beach is the place for YOU!”

Mrs.StormLove continues: “Escorts are [also] welcome to come and enjoy the beach and bring their fun here!  We have rooms [that can be used for whatever reason desired and] they are not expensive…[we also have] the Best beds and Hot Tubs in SL.”

To elaborate further, Mrs.StormLove points to a pool located on the Seduction Estate grounds.  “This pool…” she explains, “…has over 6000 sex animations….[you can click] the buttons down at the bottom and see the menu for yourself!”

Like there is freedom in discovering over 6000 sex animations at the Seduction Estate pool, Mrs.StormLove contends that there is also freedom in being naked and letting it all hang out.  She explains, “An Avi body is a representation of our inner being coming out of [our own] minds and giving [ourselves] a chance to enjoy [our] most erotic fantasies in SL.”  These erotic fantasies can include BSDM and other kinds of rough and fantasy-based sex. Mrs.StormLove also describes Seduction Estates as a kind of erotic offering to customers. “Seduction Estates…” Mrs.StormLove contends, “…offers our customers the freedom to enjoy whatever fantasy they choose…in a great atmosphere [that is full of] sex appeal.” Thus, for those who are totally looking to get laid BSDM style, or even via a one night stand, the Seduction Estates has a venue that is perfect for you, too.

From the Freaky-Teaky to Shopping Extraordinaire!

In addition to having a fabulous Adult themed Beach, Seduction Estates also has a Mall that houses a Barbershop, a Bridal Store, and an array of other fashionable attire.  Mrs.StormLove continues, “Yes we have a wide variety of Men’s and Women’s shoes….boots, clothes, [you name it]. We [are also] resellers [who sell products by] Wild orchid, Sexy Peach, Class A, and Kinkyo…[as well as] clothes with appliers.” Mrs.StormLove exclaims, “We [also] have a Store that is not ours…it is on the top floor [of the Mall and is called] Sickening Sweet!” Storm explains that Sickening Sweet is a clothing store that specializes in sexy attire, with an emphasis on fetish.

Fine Dining, Entertainment and Living at Seduction Estate
Speaking about an emphasis on fetish, patrons can get the pleasure of experiencing the finest food, wine and entertainment at the Seduction Estate Restaurant.  When the SL Enquirer asked, “Why have a restaurant when there is little need to actually eat in SL?” Mrs.StormLove throws the question back at us with a “Why Not?”  Unabashed, Mrs.StormLove continues, “...the Restaurant has its own flavor…the role play experience there can be as close to RL as we can get it…we have live entertainment weekly, and we are still hiring comedians and live entertainment by the way, too…and we do all of this because we want to bring in the customers who like to date…[customers who want to] plan a special evening for their date, take them to a great meal [then take them out] dancing, [and] get the best customer service treatment [available]…and continue [to come] back and tell others [about their experience, too]….”

When asked to elaborate on whether or not Seduction is hiring, Storm says, “Yes we are hiring employees for the following positions:  DJ'S , WAITERS, WAITRESS, HOSTESS, ESCORTS, BARTENDERS, POLE DANCERS, STRIPPERS, LIVE SINGERS, and POETS.  [But be mindful that] …we are not just looking to hire for jobs…we are looking to build a company, with [an opportunity to cultivate a] career that [can prove to be perfect for] employees.  [Thus,] we are looking for those who are serious about role play and who want [to have] a purpose [in] their SL world…[we are looking for individuals] who want to bring their experiences [to life, as well as] build a great network with lasting friendships.”
However, if you venture to the Seduction Estate Restaurant, all patrons should be warned to bring their own boy toys and side pieces, because the live performances will not only leave you speechless, they will also leave you feeling sexually aroused.  In fact, during one of Subtlety Danglish’s recent performances (performances that happen every Wednesday from 5pm-6pm SLT), America2000 could be heard exclaiming, “Where the hell is Daddy when I need him!!!!” Other females could be heard echoing a similar sentiment, because they were mumbling things like, “I am horny as f---!“ and “Where are the men at when you need them!?”

While Danglish’s performance is one of many Seduction Estate venues that will leave you feeling some kind of way, the entertainment offered at the Seduction Estate restaurant is very telling, because it alludes to the kind of environment Mrs.StormLove and MrJazzyMelody aim to create for all of their patrons.  “We are doing all we can to make it better here,” explains Mrs.StormLove. “In fact…” she continues, “…we have skyboxes available to all of our patrons to rent…and all our homes are rent and show by demand, and we don’t experience lag.” Like the 6000 animation pool available, the parcels available has an extensive array of sex animations available not only in their bathrooms, but on their beds and rugs as well.

And for those that are interested in renting the Seduction Estates location out for a wedding, Rezz Day or other event, the estate offers freedom and flexibility in that area as well.  Mrs.StormLove contends, “We offer patrons an opportunity to hold naked weddings, as well as a wide range of seductive sex play toys on the SIM…”

The Pure VIP Pass Benefits and Awards Program
Besides the stellar live performances, amazing beach and realistic restaurant, Seduction Estate offers a Pure VIP pass for patrons interested in getting even more bang for their lindens.  Mrs.StormLove summarizes the Pure VIP pass as follows:  ”The VIP MEMBERSHIP is an entitlement afforded to all of our patrons who purchase the Pure VIP membership….[in fact] our Entire Second floor sky lounge is designed for the those who want the special treatment…it has a [regal and virtually] royal feel to it…[and is solely allowed to be used by Pure VIP patrons, all for the inexpensive price of $200L.”
Be mindful that with the purchase of the Pure VIP pass, patrons get access to the ~Pure Seduction~ VIP SKYLOUNGE, as well as full access to the Seduction Estate’s GREEDY Game table.  Pure VIP members also are allowed to freely use the Estate’s LAPDANCE CHAIRS, and also have free access to the Estate’s OPEN BAR.  Storm continues, “Of course, all Pure VIP members also have unlimited access to our DINING TABLES, CUDDLE CHAIRS….not to mention AN ENTIRE DANCE FLOOR and a HOT TUB.”
As if the Seduction Estates offerings are not enough, Mrs.StormLove lets the SL Enquirer know that Seduction Estates is also in the midst of planning other events to encourage patronage of their SIM.  “WE HAVE MANY EVENTS SCHEDULED….” she explains, “…there will be a BIKE RALLY, [complete] with bike racing and Trophies to be WON, and we are looking for leaders of Fashion to sponsor events for our upcoming Fashion Show that will feature the Spring fashions of SL.  Thus, we need participants who are willing to get their products out there via a Party or Event.  Seduction Estate is also looking to recruit various Talk shows who want to broadcast from the Seduction Estate Location.”
Catching her breath before starting anew, Mrs.StormLove continues, “Seduction Estates is also planning a SPRING BREAK EVENT, SO I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO KEEP WATCHING AND WAITING BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO COME!”
We at the SL Enquirer have a feeling that there is so much more to the Seduction Estates than watching and waiting, and we are enamored at what is on the horizon for this SIM.

A Preview of Ms Sweetheart Pageant Finalists- Rere Sandalwood Reporting...

Muhammad Ali once said, “A rooster crows only when it sees the light. Put him in the dark and he'll never crow….I have seen the light and I'm crowing.” Like the rooster that crows in the light, the 2015 Ms. Sweethearts Pageant brings forth a joyful sound that foreshadows Spring, and all the wonderful things intrinsic in it.

The Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10 AM SLT.  Established in August 2010, the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant, according to organizer and owner Shannon Bramlington, was started as a way to display the beauty of the female guests that frequent the Sweetheart’s Jazz Club.  The winner of this pageant not only wins a prize of $100,00L, they also win the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant crown, as well as a generous array of designer gowns from SL’s most prestigious designers.  Bramlington asserts, “The Ms. Sweethearts Pageant is a search for the Sweetest of Hearts in Second Life. We do look at beauty but the emphasis is on class and grace, intelligence and the ability to represent Sweethearts as a romantic venue.”

Dolly Warden and LADYROSECHERRY SERENITY:  The Finalists That Keep Moving Forward
In keeping with the Pageant’s search for the Sweetest of Hearts, there are five finalists that will compete for the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant Title.  One of those finalist is Dolly Warden.  Though Warden is still recovering from the Real Life loss of her father, she continues to dedicate herself to the pageant in his honor.  Warden explains:  “I am a very hard worker….a good leader who learns and leads by example.  I am very genuine with how I love Sweethearts, and how I feel about being the best representative for Sweethearts that I can be.  Most of all, I am not a quitter. My father just passed away, we buried him yesterday; and although I had to miss some things, I didn't let it stop me.  It is a positive thing that has helped me deal with the bad at this moment.”  Like her Father, Warden is a US Veteran, and is deeply committed to family and long lasting friendships.  Warden contends that she “….was lucky and honored to have such a great dad.  The funeral was beautiful with full military honors...”

What is amazing about Dolly Warden is not only her willingness to share this information with the SL Enquirer, but her willful determination to continue her participation in the 2015 Ms. Sweethearts Pageant despite the loss of her father.  Warden reiterates her determination by saying, “I like to think my father would be glad I didn't give up.  He knew I was in the pageant and was proud of me… all I can do now is honor him in every way I can [because] good parents are the best blessing we can have.”
Warden’s persistence to stay in the pageant—despite the loss of her father—is commendable, and mirrors the strong work ethic present in all the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant Finalists. In fact, their work ethic is so strong, that not even the Boston Blizzard of 2015 could stop them from competing.

Rosie O’Grady, better known as LADYROSECHERRY SERENITY, epitomizes this claim.  Born and raised in Boston in real life, Serenity’s endurance is currently being tested in the midst of a blizzard so intense, that it has paralyzed major roads and completely submerged cars in over 65 feet of snow.  Serenity says, “…we are having lots of blizzards here, [with] so much snow you can make an igloo…and [to top it off], I have to shovel it. I am sick of looking at the weather at this point….”

Yet despite being tired of the horrid Boston weather, Serenity’s dream is to be the best model in Second Life.  “[I believe that it is important] to never give up and be the best that you can be.  None of us [are] perfect.”

Both LADYROSECHERRY SERENITY and Dolly Warden enjoy meeting new people in their SL time, as well as love being creative in many different ways.  Warden explains, “I really enjoy the fashion aspect of SL.  This pageant gives me an opportunity to have even more fun with fashion as well.”

LADYROSECHERRY SERENITY echoes Warden’s sentiment, but adds, “I enjoy helping newbies and people in general [in both Real Life and in Second Life].

Ms. Sweetheart Pageant Finalists and the Friends They Have
Gwennie Oldrich chuckles as she recalls her motivation for entering into the pageant.  “Honestly, my best friend and I were joking around about how the pageant needed an underdog who could add a fresh, new approach to being Ms. Sweetheart's, so finally I decided why not and put in my application.  Though once I was accepted as a hopeful, I actually got serious and tried to be what I thought a good Ms. Sweetheart’s [contestant] would be.”

When asked if she had expected to become a finalist, Oldrich says, “Never in a million years.  I figured I’d get in the top 10 but never expected to end up in the top 5. [In fact,] I was completely speechless….”

Like Oldrich, BroadwayGirl1 Resident did not expect to become a finalist either.  “When I found out that I was a finalist, I was so happy that I was in RL crying, and was telling my family and friends on here [about my becoming a finalist].

BroadwayGirl1 also relied on the support of her friends to aid in her motivation to enter the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant, just like Oldrich did. BroadwayGirl1 explains, “I was curious about what it would be like to be in a pageant. I never did pageants in RL or here. Also, with the urging and support of my friends, I feel like they would support me throughout the pageant and would support me no matter what happens…”

Since neither BroadwayGirl1 nor Oldrich had ever participated in pageants prior, they both feel like they can bring a fresh perspective to the Ms. Sweetheart’s competition.  One of these fresh perspectives includes SL hobbies; Oldrich loves playing SL Games, as well as routinely being around her friends.  “[In fact, I love] hanging around [and] chatting with my friends at home and at Sweethearts.” She continues, “[I also love] playing Greedy, raising KittyCats and participating in 7 seas fishing tournaments at our Tiny Empires Kingdom every chance I get.”

In contrast, BroadwayGirl1 demonstrates a fresh perspective by describing her favorite SL hobby of all: hanging out at the Sweetheart’s Club. “I love going to Sweethearts. It has been my home since I started SL and it is the only club that I go to. I love dancing on the dance pads with my friend and socializ[ing] with them. I love going to Sweethearts and danc[ing] with my fiancé there as well.”

While both ladies have friends in and outside Sweetheart’s, they have also successfully made friends with the other finalists involved in the pageant.  Oldrich says, “I was friends with one of [the pageant finalists] before, and have chatted a lot with another one since joining the pageant.  And yes, once we’re not all so busy, I can see [the creation of long lasting friendships with the pageant participants] being a possibility.”  In keeping with this comradery of friendship, BroadwayGirl1 offers the following words of advice to all the finalists:  “…just be yourself and treat others the way you would want to be treated; treat others the way that they would like to be treated, not only during the pageant, but also through their journey in sl.”

Finalist BELLAROSE and Organizer Shannon Bramlington: Rising Up To the Challenge
Besides the comradery of friendship, another interesting thing about the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant finalists is their ability to rise up to the Pageant’s competitiveness.  While it is one thing to rise up to this challenge once, it is another thing entirely to rise up to the challenge a second time around. BELLAROSE does this with ease, moreso because she was in the Ms. Sweetheart’s pageant last year, and came in third place.  She says, “I love the elegance and beauty of the pageant, and [have] always wanted to participate in one!”

Organizer Shannon Bramlington reiterates this sentiment by describing how the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant is not solely about beauty, it’s about looking for the winner that embodies grace, elegance, intelligence, maturity, and poise. “As the pageant creator,” Bramlington contends that “…it's given me the freedom to invent new ways to challenge the ladies, to push the pageant world out of its normal pretty box into a search for the total package...” Bramlington continues, “I love watching what I see in my head come to life on the runway…as the ladies walk by, I am so proud of them and the journey the have been on for months…”

This pride could not be vividly affirmed enough than when BELLAROSE found out she had become a finalist for the second time.  “I was ecstatic, proud and very happy,” she explains.  “[In fact] I am looking forward to the final competition [because] I love the challenge and exhilaration of the contest.”

Like the other finalists involved in the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant, BELLAROSE has also received more than the finalist title.  “I have received many exquisite and beautiful gowns by the fabulous designer, MARIANELA.  The owners, Shannon and Blake Hambleton, offered a free education in modeling at REGAL ACADEMY, which teaches an assortment of professional modeling and presentation skills, ones that are vital for anyone who aspires to be a model.”

The recent addition of the Regal Academy to the finalists’ winnings is one of many improvements implemented by Shannon Bramlington.  She also contends that the Ms. Sweetheart’s Pageant has added, in the past few years, the runway aspect to their competition. “We hope to grow the pageant even bigger every year [because] it’s come a long way since being a photo contest.”

Besides aiming for the successful growth of the pageant, Bramlington is also very interested in making sure the sole winner of the Pageant is heavily involved in giving back to the SL community.  Bramlington reiterates, “The Ms. Sweethearts Winner is highly involved in our charity events for Alzheimer Dementia, as well as for Creations for Parkinson's. We also donate anywhere from $100,000 to $150,000 linden to each charity from the profits of the pageant.”

As impressive as these numbers are, it is even more impressive of how each finalist embodies this sentiment.  BELLAROSE states that as a finalist, it is important to “….be true to your intention, and to do so, one must be true to one’s self.  If you are going to compete for the star at the top, you must stay the path and never give up.

BELLAROSE continues:  “Second, one must realize that no person is an island.  To be at the head of that community, we must truly represent that community by being a part of it.  To be a part of it, we must practice the basic virtues of giving, helping, and being kind and caring to others.  Why? Because without these simple virtues we cannot lead, nor can we represent…”

What Does Professionalism Mean in Second Life?- Rere Sandalwood Reporting…

Though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are a lot of beholders who love what they see in Tehran Hammand.

Brown-skinned with a delicately trimmed beard, Hammand not only possesses a chiseled physique, but encompasses a style that conveys perfection.  This perfection is personified in a brown tweed jacket with matching knickers, as well as a page boy hat…complete with burgundy and white checkered patterned socks.

Yet all physical features aside, there is yet another feature that distinguishes him from others: his commitment to Photo Unlimited & Design, a company he founded and created, as well as his commitment to the photography profession.  This, as well as the ethics he brings to the photography industry are key characteristics intrinsic in what Hammand describes as “being about and beyond reproach [when it comes to] strong customer service.”  This, along with a hosts of other characteristics, are what epitomize the definition of professionalism.

Others Share What Professionalism in SL means to them

While Tehran Hammand is a stellar example of professionalism, what distinguishes him from others is that he practices photography not only in SL, but in RL as well.  According to Hammand, owning an SL company like Photo Unlimited & Design allows him to cohesively bridge his RL photography career with his SL Photography studio. He explains that “It (SL) extends my creativity. In Real Life I am a professional photographer, so doing the same here is…so to speak…my personal challenge. [Specifically, creating] photos here [tends to be] a lot different than in real life. My artistic challenge is to [solely] create and [avoid using] photo shop/post editing as a crutch. I see post edit as a tool and [as an] endgame, not so much as a creation tool set. So I guess I enjoy pushing myself past what [others] might consider normal practices [in SL Photography].

In contrast to Hammand, 亗America Seetan Ajontae亗 (also known as america2000)’s realty, decorating and landscaping business does not extend into RL.  Nonetheless, she and her partner Belle 'Love Hunni' Sonsie (also known as bbwbabe Resident) have not only joined forces to create Babes In Wonderland, but have incorporated professionalism within their SL business.  Thus, with the incorporation of professionalism in their SL endeavors, comes a desire to convey professionalism within and throughout their SL realty business.  America explains that “…professionalism is knowing the intricacies of your chosen vocation, and presenting it with excellence. I am responsible first for quality customer service to our tenants, making sure the SIM is lag free, rents are paid on time and subsequently our tiers paid on time.”

Besides providing great customer service, America believes that it is important to continually be open to learning about your chosen occupation.  America explains, “I am always open to growth.  My business partner Bbwbabe Resident is quite adept at every facet of the business, so I am constantly peeking over her shoulder and learning.”  In addition to learning the SL realty profession, America has decided to expand her growth with the inclusion of learning a foreign language.  “Right now I'm in the midst of learning key phrases in both Turkish and Croation so I can effectively communicate with two families on our SIM.  Thank God one has an interpreter!  Google translator is my friend…[but there are] some conversations I can do on my own.”  After America gives a playful wink, she continues:  “I feel the standard is to have quality, long term tenants....and not to be so cocky that you deliver substandard services because of confidence in the demand you have for a parcel.”
While America and bbwbabe Resident are incorporating professionalism in their newly fledged Babes In Wonderland Realty business, DJAykoAya Resident has been practicing professionalism in her SL profession for over five years.

As DJ AykoAya name suggests, she has been a Disc Jockey that has worked various venues, as well as an array of private functions.  The key to exhibiting professionalism, according to DJAykoAya, is to be open to playing a variety of music at different functions.  She continues, “[My SL Job responsibilities entail that I] entertain our guests with music from many genres, create a welcoming atmosphere, [and] make them feel welcomed. [I also do] venue [related] promotions [for my clients].”

Yet regardless of what kind of music genres DJ AykoAya plays, she explains:  “The music that I play creates a warmth to our guests. Their complements, and messages on how I made them feel, or made their night special, I love that the most. [That, along with] SL being a fun place to work, as well as an escape, [enables me to] give 100% of [myself] every time I play. And to go home knowing that I did my very best, and that it affected people in a good way….makes me feel good as well.”

Making Customers Feel Good and Being On-Time

While everyone interviewed agrees that it’s important to be mindful of their customer’s needs, they also agree that it is important to be on time for the sake of your SL supervisor and customers too.  Among those interviewed who routinely practice this belief is Subtlety Dalglish, an entertainer that sings, writes, records and produces poetry that she eloquently describes as “poetic vibes.” She states, “I try to be professional pretty much all the time. I love to have fun, but I avoid drama and gossip - in other words keep it drama free and clean. [I also believe that it is important to] always be on time…even early if possible.  This is good in both SL and RL situations.”

With a seductive and alluring voice, Danglish’s poetry exhibits a sharpness and candidness that is not usually found in SL. Danglish asserts, “I sing on Inworldz.com every Sunday at 1pm SLT and on SL every Sunday at 5pm SLT at the Blue Room Live.  I also perform every other Sunday at 6pm at NY Skylight in the Sky. And starting March, I will perform every two weeks at Pure Seduction.”

Danglish continues by saying, “…I [am working on] improving my fan base [because] I think the poetic thing I am into is not as prevalent on SL as it should and could be. Poetry is out there but I wish there could be more of it shared as I share my own.”

Stacey Cardalines

Stacey Cardalines, who believes that professionalism entails “getting the job done, generally as it is supposed to get done,” functions as a writer in SL, but in a different capacity than Subtlety Dalglish.  Cardalines states, “I’m the Sports and Leisure Editor for the SL Enquirer.  I wander around SL and look for things to tell my readers about, then I tell them about these things I have looked for.”

However, just like Dalglish, Cardalines tends to touch a diverse audience with the stories she publishes.  “I see myself as automatic gunfire that eventually strafes every corner of SL.  In both [SL and RL] realms, you have a job to do and you go do it. If it was easy, they wouldn't pay you. It's a good thing, otherwise all newspapers would be written by children.”

Conveying warmth and humor in her answers, Cardalines continues, “If it weren't for this job, I'd be stripping. However, if I get fired here, I don't miss a mortgage payment.”

Nonetheless, Cardalines as well as the other professionals mentioned in this article, agree that professionalism is just as important in SL as it is in RL…mainly because if you are producing a good or service in SL, you have to find an effective way to find and retain customers, and encourage them to continue to patronize your business.
