SL ART & LITERATURE: Join Alice on Her Journey to Become a Queen – ART Presents THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

Disclaimer:  I am a columnist, not a critic.  That is my cop-out. With the generous support of our Editor, I write about what I like.  If I don’t like it, I don’t write about it.  So no matter what is said in this column, I loved Avatar Repertory Theater’s (ART) adaptation of Through the Looking Glass, based on the Lewis Carroll classic.  I think you should run, not walk, and get your ticket now while there are still tickets to be had for this marvelous production which plays through December 11th for a limited number of performances.

Mankind Tracer virtually LIVE atThe SL Enquirer- November 14th @ 5pm slt

Join SLE for an exclusive encore event as  Mankind Tracer performs virtually LIVE  for fans at The SL Enquirer Media Center!

Recently finishing up the Peace, Love and Belief V Event, Mankind Tracer can be found, guitar in hand, and ready to energize a crowd with his originals blended perfectly with his voice.

Every artist has their own special sound. Sometimes we can compare them to others more familiar or some are just too unique for comparison. Mankind has such a voice. The power of music is a well known fact and breaks all language barriers. It can get a person to move to the beat and not even realize it.  For me music not only makes me want to dance, I enjoy the meaning of his songs. One thing about this rockstar is that he shares his stories with all of us. If you have not experienced a Mankind Tracer concert, I recommend it.

PAICE News: CyberSpace: The New Frontier... Baeric Constantine Reporting...

As with any frontier, there are boom towns, and brawls, and even frontier wars, in an effort to create or maintain a border. One would think that this is the fabric of some western novel, or some western film, but, alas, it is not. It is the story of the Internet, the CyberWest, or, CyberSpace: The New Frontier...
Speaking at DARPA's “Colloquium on Future Directions in Cyber Security,” on November 7, 2011, Regina Dugan stated that DARPA are “...shifting [their] investments to activities that promise more convergence with the threat and that recognize the needs of the Department of Defense...[as]...Malicious cyber attacks are not merely an existential threat to our bits and bytes; they are a real threat to our physical systems, including our military systems. To this end, in the coming years we will focus an increasing portion of our cyber research on the investigation of offensive capabilities to address military-specific needs.”

SLE's Astrologist, Linda Lauren is making waves in the real world.

Linda Lauren sure has been busy these days and we are excited to announce that she just made front page of the NY Times! Check out the article here!
