FASHION - MISS EAGLE’S RAVE FIRST SEMIFINAL

Last Friday, the 28th of January, Eagle’s Rave Temple hosted the first semifinal of the homonymous beauty contest, the first Miss Eagle’s Rave 2011. The show started at 12:30 pm sl time, and saw on the catwalk five girls, non professional models, showing all their abilities to conquer the first two places, giving access to the final on the 25th of February. The five models have been requested to parade in three different outfits, in order to give a complete and adequate judgment on the whole. The lingerie outfit was meant to show the avatar proportions, the combination of skin and shape and the whole avatar appearance. The casual and elegant outfits on the other hand were meant to judge how the model combined the dress with the different accessories; that is hair, shoes, jewels, and yes, also the different AOs and poses used for the outfits.

The jury was composed of important representatives of both Eagle’s Rave Fashion SIM and Second Life world, such as the new CJ Modeling Agency owner Chanel Jungsten, President of the Jury; a representative of the SLEnquirer (specifically, the CEO Lanai Jarrico or her assistant Timbo Smythe); the owner of the Edmose Group, dealing with advertisement and publicity, Edwardi Mosely; the MAS Shape store owner, Matelda Core; and last but not least a representative of the SIM itself in the name of Dada Miha. These jurors were requested to give votes going from one to ten to all the girls, voting every outfit separately, so that the votes were summed up together to give a total divided for the number of voters. Besides, the jury had the possibility to use the public votes as yardstick in case of ex aequo within two girls.
The five girls made their best efforts to get through the first leg and have access to the final, that will be held on the 25th of February, same time same place. The name of the girls fighting for the first places were Roberta Lionheart, Dolcestella Draconia, Marzia Brandi, Falketta2 Galicia, Faraday Falconer. The girls that got through the first leg and qualified for the final were Marzia Brandi and Faraday Falconer.
Next Friday, the 4th of February, other two girls will be selected to join the group of candidates for the final. The show will be at Egle’s Rave Temple, 12:30 sl time. Eagle’s Rave staff will be glad to have you, so don’t miss the event! Stay tuned for updates!
