Spooky Strides Returns to Second Life for Halloween 2026 Five Scary Days and Nights of Halloween Magic, Shopping, and Charitable Giving!

SECOND LIFE — October 23, 2026 — After a hiatus, Spooky Strides is back! From October 26–31, 2026, Second Life residents are invited to enjoy a Halloween celebration featuring live entertainment, haunted attractions, shopping, gachas, and fundraising for BlessOne and the American Cancer Society (ACS).

Organized by Bless1 Org, Inc., Spooky Strides returns through the efforts of Venus Amore, the BlessOne Board, and dedicated volunteers, performers, and musicians who have contributed their time and talents to bring this Halloween celebration to life.

The entertainment lineup will start Monday morning with Maximillion Kleene, each day will be filled with both events and performances by live musicians, Gandalf, PouL MacDavE, Maribol Insahn, Rosedrop Rust, Chris Darkstone, Fil Rowans, Zelator Baphomet, Wytchwhisper, Pianoman1, and Mason Thorne. Live DJ performances DJ Cee, DJ Xeno, DJ Anje Rain, DJ Nova Sakigake and more. Special productions include Minsky's Burlesque Show, Rocky Horror Pixel Show, Lightning Strikes Productions, Crixus Carnival of Carnage, Maribol’s Halloween Venues, and Stories by Nellie Bly and Rosedrop Rust.

Halloween goodies and more await visitors at participating shops, including Sensations, Flecha Creations, Stix, Vortech, and additional Second Life merchants. Visitors can also collect ribbon Gachas and other special gachas for donations to benefit ACS or BlessOne.

Spooky Strides supports BlessOne's mission to eradicate homelessness and the American Cancer Society's mission to end cancer for everyone. Donors can donate to either or both organizations.

Bless1 Org, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017, has maintained a presence in Second Life for years, including its sponsored public sandbox, operating since 2019. The return of Spooky Strides continues its tradition of bringing the virtual community together for charitable giving and positive social change. For Immediate Release: 2023 Out Shop Cancer The 6th annual Out Shop Cancer event supporting Making Strides and the American Cancer Society is almost here. Out Shop Cancer is a main store and marketplace shopping event and a signature Strides Campaign in Second Life in support of the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and research. The 2023 Out Shop Cancer event includes main store and marketplace shopping, a grid-wide hunt, an Out Shop Cancer Pop-up Market, and a special Gala event. Along with the many shopping opportunities, there will be several special raffles during the month, including raffles for eBody Reborn bodies, Belleza bodies, LeLutka heads, skin packs and much more. In addition to the shopping, hunt and raffles, there will be an art walk and photo contest this year. The Easthaven Art Walk will also run Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 and feature the creative work of artists and photographers, with proceeds benefiting Strides. A photo contest with the theme, "Season of Hope" will be held at Easthaven and open to everyone to join in the fun! With more than 70 stores participating ranging from clothes to decor to breedables, there is something for everyone. 2022 Bid The Lindens Bald Teams Set
Nearly 40 Lindens and Moles To Put Their Hair On The Line to Support Relay For Life

Governor Linden announced today the team lineups for the 6th Annual Bid The Lindens Bald (BTLB) fundraiser, sponsored by the Relay Rockers in support of the Relay For Life of Second Life.  The challenge takes part during RelayStock, the annual weekend gathering of Relay Teams for 3 Days of Peace Music and Hope, to be held May 13, 14 & 15.

Bid The Lindens Bald challenges the different Linden teams to raise as much as possible in support of the American Cancer Society.  The team raising the Most Linden$ during the week of May 12 through the 19th will be awarded a pair of scissors with which they will shave the heads of the team raising the least amount of Linden$. Last year the Linden and Mole teams combined to raise L$840,639, or $3361, raising the event’s all-time total to more than L$3.5 million and helping the virtual Relay held in Second Life since 2005, to be ranked 4th largest, out of more than 1600 Relay communities in the United States, with an astounding total raised of more than L$100,000,000 in 2021.

Bid Me Bald recognizes with respect and support that chemotherapy and other lifesaving treatments can lead to side effects, notably hair loss.  Bid Me Bald participants choose to ‘shave’ their heads as an act of support and fellowship with our honored heroes.

Lady Adrianna has booked 64 hours of lively entertainment for the festival and Lady Deanna requires the help of individuals who can give 6 to 8 hours of time between September 23rd and October 2nd and act as fundraising hosts during the event.
