Vikings Win SFL Super Bowl

Stacey jumping on the Viking bandwagon...

The first SFL season has been completed, and we have a Super Bowl champion!

The Twisted Vikings prevailed over the BOSL Browns to win the first SFL championship. The game was a close one, but the Northmen ended up on the larger end of a 18-14 score.

The Vikings were 5-2 in the regular season, but turned it on in the playoffs. They took the scalp of the 9-0 Giants in the playoffs. The Vikings then completed a CInderella run by downing the Browns.

It has been a long, strange trip with the SFL, but they got Season One on the books. The next season starts in August. We'll fill you in on any details as we get them.

Also, big props go to former SFL commish Romeo Torvalar, who gave a pound of flesh to get this league running. He's no longer the boss, but I'd bet that he still has a bit of influence somewhere.

Also, I have to give thanks to Al Penucca, who keeps me informed of things. I was going to use him in the pic, but I opted for cheesecake instead of beefcake. Al was drafted in the top 3 overall, and #2 and #3 were on the Super Bowl teams.
