For a second year, presenters, poets, and storytellers will gather at Bran for a day of adventures, and journeys, satyre, humor, and delight - all presented through stories presented live in voice. "It's agreat line up of diverse presentations," said Dubhna Rhiadra, well know wandering half-elven storyteller and one of the event's hosts, "I am particularly gratified that there will be feegles represented this year." The one day celebration begins Saturday morning at 10:00am, with the last session beginning at 5::00pm (all times SLT). An expanded run down of the schedule is posted on the StoryFest Events Blog.
The morning session will kick off with Elder Priestman presenting the raucous and lusty "Onion Feast" chapter from author Jim Peyton's novel Zion's Cause, and conclude with author and poet Wolfgang Glinka presenting poetry and flash fiction. The Morning Session will take place at the Grand Story Circle on the terrace of the Branwen Arts Center: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Bran/71/91/3512
The afternoon session begins with Dubhna Rhiadra and Caledonia Skytower presenting selections from popular author Terry Pratchett's Wee Free Men, part of his Disc World Series. At 5:00pm Freeda Frostbite (RL Author Stephanie Mesler) wraps the day up with selections from her current novel in progress. The Afternoon Session will take place by the Fireside Story Circle on Bran's terra level: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Bran/46/99/23
In between, nearly a dozen different stories will be presented by different voices. Residents are invited to come for as much or as little as they can, to the open format sessions.
