Diamonds Model/Photo Contests is upgrading again in September, 2010! Diamonds has been awarding prizes every month since February, 2009, making it one of the oldest Model/Photo Contests in Second Life!
Diamonds is also one of the largest Model/Photo Contests in Second Life, actually consisting of two completely separate contests, Diamonds and Rubies, awarding every month a total of 95,000L cash, 25 beautiful gift photo albums, 2 model portfolios, special tags, and special recognition to 15 voted and 10-16 judged winners!!! Plus, every year 4 beautiful photo calendars (judged and voted at Diamonds and at Rubies) to the winners!
Yes, 10-16 judged winners, selected by past winners and a panel of judges! To win a place among the judged winners, all one needs is one of the best photos! No votes, no lindens, no work except to get a great photo! Past photo albums of the judged winners and photo albums of the voted winners are proudly displayed on the winners wall!
Diamonds and Rubies both have different, exciting, challenging, and fun themes every month, like "Fire," "Water," "Air," "Earth,", "Wildlife," "Mardi Gras," and "Fantasy" at Diamonds, and "Hair," Eyes," "Bust (now, guys, that's from the top of the head to the bottom of the ribs, usually clothed!)," "Ass," "Legs," "Sports," and "Flowers" at Rubies!
Diamonds has added many fun activities, too! Themed, two-hour parties, with a DJ and 1-hour contests! There are prize games, like Guess & Win, where guests win cars, boats, and houses! Of course, there is always couples and singles dancing.
