Many celebrate Memorial Weekend with BBQs and family get-togethers. But Memorial Day is more than just the beginning of the long hot summer months to come. Memorial Day is a day to honor and remember those that have fallen while in our U.S Military Service. No matter who we are, we all have a family member or know of someone who has fallen while in service of the Armed forces. We at SL Enquirer would like to honor those and their family members giving them the opportunity to say a few words without any prejudice or filters. Here are some words of appreciation from residents of Second Life.

Memorial day gives everyone an opportunity to remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. As we gather together with family and friends to honor the heroes who have fallen, take a moment of silence to think about their duty, their obligation and their sacrifice. Say a prayer, if you wish to do so.
