Join us on Sunday, September 19th beginning at 12pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Agatha! Debuting at Terry's this week, Agatha is not only an exceptionally talented singer, blessed with a beautiful voice and incredible range, she is also hysterically funny and down to earth.

Singing from her home in Brazil, Agatha’s strong, smooth and sultry voice will take you down the alleyways of Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Eric Clapton, the Beatles, Pearl Jam, America, and her Bossa Nova will simply take your breath away.

Her intimacy and easy manner will make you will feel like you’re sitting in her living room, singing your favorite songs together, sharing some laughs, and forgetting all your cares for this enchanting hour. If you miss an Agatha show, you are truly missing out on something special.

Coming up next this week at 1pm SLT, Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a LIVE performance from Zak Claxton! With over 20 years as a professional gigging musician and recording artist based in Los Angeles, Zak is an entertaining and exciting singer/songwriter, always pleasing his fans.

Using his acoustic guitar, voice, and the occasional harmonica, Zak brings high energy to his original music, as well as occasional covers by artists ranging from the '60s to the '10s. His influences include Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, the Who, the Beatles, and many more.

Zak has spent quite a few years as one of SL's most enjoyable live music performers, and his self-titled debut solo album is available on the Frothy Music label. Purchase it in-world or at iTunes, Amazon, and elsewhere.

Join us on Sunday, September 12th beginning at 12pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Dandy Pianoman! Debuting at Terry's this week, Dandy began playing the piano at the age of 6 and worked his way through all the English grades up to grade 8. After that, Dandy had a chance meeting at his college with a pro classical guitarist who inspired him to experiment with rock and blues styles as well as improvisation and composition. It would be fair to say he's never looked back since!

Over the years Dandy has played in a succession of live bands in rl as both a bass player and keyboard player. His playful approach to performing captivate you in ways that help you truly appreciate the music, making this one show you won't want to miss!

Up next this week at 1pm SLT, Terry's is proud to welcome the talented Dennymac, as he performs his solo debut on the Terry's stage! DennyMac streams from New York with his passion for music and a deep desire to share his talent. Heavily influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, James Taylor, the Beatles, and many others, he brings his great talents utilizing lead guitar along with his gritty yet well-polished vocals.

Also a member of the popular SL band The QuadRadix, Dennymac is truly an exceptional force in music, having performed regularly with many of Second Life's finest talent all across the grid.

Debuting at Terry's this week, Dude brings many years of real-life singing and performing experience to his Second Life stage. Singing a random selection of favorite covers from smooth romantics to rock & roll, ’80s-’90s, pop, blues, R&B, and funk,

Dude thrives on “random.” You will be charmed and feel a personal connection from his stage every time. Come enjoy Dude’s goofy banter and laugh along with him as he laughs at himself.

“Singing allows me to entertain people. I get a kick out of knowing that somewhere out there, someone could have been listening to me and I managed to brighten their day in some small way. I truly do enjoy giving of my humble “gift” and making others feel good.” ~ Dude

Up next this week at 4pm SLT, Terry's is proud to welcome the lovely Kokoincognito! Whether classic country, rock, ballads, or oldies, Koko masters them with dulcet tones that have been developed through decades of performance as a soloist, choir member and traveling singer.

A child of the 60s, Koko was raised on classic country, but much prefers rock music and the powerful ballads of the era's strongest female singers.

Also debuting at Terry's this week, Koko Incognito started singing to Elvis' Blue Christmas while playing a hearth broom as her guitar at age 5. Since then, no song has been out of her reach,. Koko now brings her talents to SL where she does sets mixing up the music with romantic classics, rock, country, and oldies.

Following Zak at 4pm SLT. Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with another spectacular debut performance from Aufwie Mysterious, a talented English multi-instrumentalist songwriter, musician, and producer from Sheffield who has been working in music since 2010 whether it was touring with bands or producing other people's music or his own.

Aufwie's live shows in SL stand out from the rest for being charming relaxed acoustic sets that bring life to both original songs and covers that will make you feel like you’re sitting beside him on a starry night by a campfire. From everlasting super hits to unknown underground jewels, all with the unique touch that he manages to showcase in every performance. He released his first homonym EP in September 2020 and it’s available on Spotify, Itunes, Amazon, and other streaming services. Apart from his original work, he has also contributed in many other musical projects both as a producer, artistic director and musician.

June 6th - Saramarie Philly and PT Beardmore LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase

Join us on Sunday, June 6th beginning at 5pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is the lovely SaraMarie Philly...SaraMarie is a music graduate pianist/vocalist who plays a very wide variety of genres. It is not uncommon to hear her perform the #1 song on the Top 40 but then sing a classical opera song causing jaws to drop. Many say she is one of, if not THE best vocalist in SL.

"In my original music, I just write what comes to my heart, regardless of what genre it sounds like. I choose cover songs that have special meaning for me within the lyrics or that connect with me in a musical way. "

"I don't like being pigeon-holed into one genre, which means that at this point in my life I perform a very wide range of musical styles from Classical Opera to R&B, and I like that SL allows me to do this. My audiences seem to like the variation.
The above said, I CAN do themed performances. I choose my setlist based on the ambiance of the venue. If I'm at an upscale formal venue, I'll sing jazz, theatre, and romantic ballads. At western-styled venues I sing more country songs. Some venues like my funny but inappropriate songs, and will request some of those. The setlist really depends on the venue. :) "

Up next at 6pm SLT. Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a LIVE performance from PT Beardmore! Beardy has spent the last 16 years playing music full time, 12 of those years touring with several bands as a multi instrumentalist. He brings a very unique sound to Second Life and performs 100% live.

Debuting at Terry's this week, his original music can be described as Americana, Alt-Country, and Western Swing. Beardy plays a good mix of originals and covers and has been influenced and inspired by many great artists including Ryan Adams, U2, Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris, and Julie Miller.

With a soft spot for mellow introspective songs, Beardy is using SL as an opportunity to sing songs that have shaped his musical career and to pay homage to those who have inspired him.

Tally Mercury (formerly Tallyesin) is a singer/songwriter performing acoustic shows in SL since 2011. He has a 20-year history as a performer meandering through the UK and abroad. Tally is a storyteller with a sound that is both soothing and powerful. He does a wide range of songs that span genre and time. Some of his choices are recognizable and some will be songs you've not heard before but all are guaranteed to be memorable. From the Beatles to Adele, Coldplay to Bastille, Tally has a distinct style that keeps bringing people back.

Joining Tally on this delightful musical journey will be none other than the lovely and talented Fly Kugin, a professional violinist that will make your toes tap and your soul sing with her amazing music. She performs traditional improvisation & Jazz, as well as Rock and Pop tunes With the help of high-quality instrumental tracks, FLY adds her violin to make beautiful music.

Fly currently resides in Istanbul and teaches music when she Is not performing. She has performed in The United States and Europe and looks forward to sharing her amazing talent with SL audiences from around the world.

Join us on Sunday, May 23th beginning at 2pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer! This week's featured artist is Virgil Flowers, Live Singer, Guitarist, Composer and a veteran of RL stage and studio!

Virgil started playing guitar and singing at age 11 and has played professionally on stage and in the studio since he was 17 years old. He's played from the West Coast to the East Coast and all points in between.

He currently plays RL in rock bands, and plays and sings in SL. A rocker at heart, he also plays blues, country and pop.

Virgil's natural baritone voice will have you singing along to your favorite songs from artists like Santana, David Bowie, INXS, REM, Dwight Yoakam, The Cars, Tom Petty, Prince and many more!

Virgil can play an all acoustic or all electric set with vocals, or any combination in between.
He plays guitar live and his vocals are live. Any tracks used are his own recordings.

Coming up at 3pm SLT. Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with another debut performance from the lovely Rogue Galaxy, a musician and live singer born and raised in Newfoundland Canada, now residing in upstate New York, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains!

Rogue has been singing professionally for over 2 decades with her own band in RL and also with other bands too. She has a duo, trio, & a full band that plays a wide variety of music from blues and jazz to easy listening, folk, and Americana!

Rogue vocals are described as sultry, bluesy and smokey. She will accompany herself with her Ukulele for a one hour acoustic show and/or also uses backing tracks! Her distinct voice and musical style will charm the hearts of all.

Nominated for Sammy's NY People Choice award 2020, Rogue is a must hear performer!

Join us on Saturday, April 10th beginning at 11am SLT for the long-anticipated debut of the PSSST Tour LIVE at Terry's Place! FIVE fun-filled hours of live music from some of the hottest entertainers on the grid! This is the first time these talented performers have all been together on the same day, so be prepared for a few surprises along the way! ;)

It all kicks off at 11am SLT with a special LIVE performance from spiritLed, as he returns to the Terry's stage! spiritLed is not new to SL but relatively new to performing live music around the grid. Coming to you from the East Coast, spiritLed has been playing the guitar since his 20's and is now learning and enjoying playing keyboard.

You will immediately fall in love with spiritLed's covers of songs from artists like Coldplay, Harry Styles, Train, The Beatles, and more. Join us and hear why he is beloved by fellow musicians around the grid.

Next up at 12-noon SLT, Terry's is proud to welcome Tally Mercury (formerly Tallyesin), a singer/songwriter performing acoustic shows in SL since 2011. He has a 20-year history as a performer meandering through the UK and abroad.

Phemie's song selection is varied spanning both time and genre. From the moment you hear those first few keys breakthrough the quiet until the last notes she sings at the end of the hour you'll be glad you stopped by and looking forward to the next time.

Coming up at 2pm SLT, the beautiful and enchanting SEMINA will take the stage, performing LIVE for your listening pleasure! Born and raised in the south coast of Sweden, she is a talented singer-songwriter who has traveled the world playing her music at clubs, festivals, living rooms and theaters around Scandinavia, Europe, UK, and the USA.

With a playful way of mixing genres and a voice that could mend a broken heart, SEMINA now comes to entertain in Second Life with covers from well known artists.

Finally, at 3pm SLT, get ready for another magnificent performance from Skye Galaxy! Taking a variety of different songs and artists, Skye translates each tune and places them gently beside a soothing, sensual line of vocal and simplistic piano arrangements. Nineteen years ago, he was brought into this world by his mother, who resided in Smolensk (Смоленск), Russia, and a father who moved to the States from Berlin. From the first moments of which he could mutter a sound, singing had become nothing short of a passion.

His influences include the vocals and production talents of Imogen Heap, the emotion often found in the likes of Coldplay, Keane, and Death Cab for Cutie, and in the other artists that continue to fill his favorites list; Above & Beyond, Frou Frou, Rufus Wainwright, Kate Havnevik, Yann Tiersen, and many more.

Skye is a musician, performer and vocalist professionally in his first life, but likes to keep his two lives well apart. He joined Second Life in order to pursue the feeling of growth in his abilities, once more, and that numerous chain of events leading to one better opportunity to the next until you are stumbling for the top.

With the start of November, daylight savings isn’t the only thing that has come to a conclusion. October ended and that brings to a close the breast cancer awareness events around the country. Many great events and experiences have raised thousands of dollars for cancer research and hopefully one day all this effort can produce a cure for this deadly disease. Throughout the month of October, Terry’s Place has raised money for this great cause with an impressive amount. Terry’s Place has alone, through your donations has raised over $L 96,000!! An impressive amount by any standard bringing in close to 5% of all charitable donations in SL for breast cancer for a grand total of L$ 463,706!!

Wolfie

This past Sunday was their 6 month anniversary and to kick it off, a special live performance by Wolfie Moonshadow and the winner of their open mic contest Rocker. A packed house is nothing unusual for Wolfie and this Sunday was no exception. In Terry’s Place modified outdoor area, Wolfie entertained the crowd to screams and howls as always.

Rocker

With the crowd all warmed up, Terry’s open mic winner Rocker brought the crowd to a rip roaring frenzy. Rocker with his own unique singing style shows everyone exactly why he was the open mic winner! Open mic night, sponsored by Moonlight Music and is every Friday night from 8pm to 10pm SLT and open to all performers.

Kat Vargas

On a devastating note, just hours before tonight’s performance, a beloved member of the Second Life music circle, Kat Vargas, passed away from the world’s new reality, Covid-19. Kat was the manager for many Singers and performers and a huge proponent for Live Singing. She was loved by many and an inspiration to us all. She will surely be missed.

Seth Regan/Mankind Tracer

In the newly redesigned club, a regular, Seth Regan / Mankind Tracer entertains a new crowd at 9:00pm. Seth sings every other week and has a loyal fan following, not only in the US and Canada but all over the world, filling the club to its newly expanded capacity. A little fun fact about Seth is, along with being one of the best singers in Second Life since 2006, he is also one hell of a graphic artist, personally designing Terry’s Place Logo. Seth has a wide singing range and sings many fan favorites like Roxanne by the Police and Elton John’s Rocket Man. After giving the crowd what they came for he did a fitting tribute to Kat Vargas, singing Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. It was a very moving performance and you could instantly tell it touched everyone in attendance. Seth has an incredible voice and does the tribute to Kat the justice she so deserves.

Sunday night was a fitting evening for their 6 month anniversary and if you want to experience a night of great music, fun and laughter come on out to Terry’s place. A friendly neighborhood pub where everyone knows your name!! Five nights a week events are happening where you are sure to find yourself entertained.
