Just like that memorable evening of 1985 when 46 famous musicians came together to sing for the benefit of starving Africa, Second Life's top models will come together, this time to promote the beauty and power of diversity!

Do not hesitate! Trust your fashion flair! Put on a LUXE Paris outfit, add your charming style, capture a photo, put your official name in the title and send it with FULL PERMISSIONS to the avatar LUXEParisLOOKoftheYEAR inworld.

You can submit as many as 5 photos every week, but each picture must present a different LUXE Paris outfit. Each of the photos submitted will be evaluated by the jury as if it was a new candidate. So the sooner you start participating, the more likely you are to be selected for the semi-finals.

Each week for five weeks, starting May 30th, we will be posting photos of 6 semi-finalists on our website at www.luxeparislookoftheyear.com and in The SL Enquirer. The semi-finalist's pictures will also be published in SL Confidencial magazine inworld. In addition, we will be exhibiting the photos of all the participants in the Hall of Candidates at our main store in Bao/67/72/26.

When we have 30 semi-finalists, our jury will then proceed to the selection of 12 finalists.

EACH of the 12 FINALISTS WILL RECEIVE 10 LUXE Paris OUTFITS and L$ 1500 WORTH of ZURI JEWELRY

The twelve big ones, selected from the photos, will be revealed on July 4th and invited to the Judges' Brunch on July 17th. It is at this event that the finalists will each

receive a L$ 3000 LUXE Paris gift card (approximately 10 outfits) and L$ 1500 worth of Zuri jewelry! This will allow them to create their looks for the 2 challenges/shows at almost no cost. 

LUXE Paris and its prestigious partners are proud to present an inclusive competition where everything is done so that EVERYONE can flourish.

The JUDGES' BRUNCH A FIRST ROLE as an AMBASSADOR 

It is also at the Brunch that the jury will meet the finalists for the first time in person. The twelve greats will be called upon to play their role as ambassadors of LUXE Paris.

Why would they be good ambassadors? What are their assets to play such a role? Each of the finalists will be invited to type a short speech in the public chat to make themselves better known to the judges and will also have to answer questions from the jury.

For this event, the finalists will have to dress in LUXE Paris, as they would if they 

were LOOK of the YEAR and invited to represent the brand at a brunch with fashion VIPs. No marks will be awarded for this event but the presentations of the finalists will allow the judges to get an idea of their personality, which will certainly influence the scores during rounds 2 and 3 of the final.

TWO CHALLENGES-SHOWS

Two challenge shows will effectively follow the Judges' Brunch. The theme of the first challenge will be ''Decades of Fashion 1950-2020'' as the second challenge will highlight the twelve most important fashion capitals of the planet. For each challenge, the 12 finalists will have to present a LUXE Paris outfit with ZURI Jewelry. 

It is the cumulative scores awarded by the judges during these two challenges that will determine who will be LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR 2022-2023 and the two runners-up.

A team of 15 judges from the worlds of fashion, media and entertainment will determine who will be the next LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR. This imposing and prestigious jury ensures a wide diversity of opinions and a transparent and fair process.

The Innovative Prey Fashion Show Coverage. Sunny Love Holiday Reporting

The Second Life fashion scene is filled with some the most creative and talented people on the grid. 

I have always had a deep passion for fashion so you can image my excitement when presented with the opportunity to cover some of the most talked about fashion shows this year. What better way to start my fashion show coverage for 2015 then to attend the innovative PREY Fashion Show presented by Amazing Impressions Modeling (AIM).

On January 31, 2015 at 12:55pm slt, I took my seat in front of a grand runway located on the AIM sim. As the seats around me filled quickly, I eagerly awaited for the show to start.  Soon after, Barney Helendale, the host for the evening, took the stage and colorfully started to introduce the work of the extremely talented PREY designer Adriel Huntress. One by one the stylish models walked the runway with some of the most inspiring creations I have ever seen in second life. Models Africanrithm, Lua Vendetta, Gretel Bulloch, LEEZAHKADDOUR2, LUCIA BRUNE, and Layka graced the stage looking stunning sashaying across the runway while DJ Doxy Roller was spinning tunes that truly fit the work of art I was witnessing.

Boniefacio did a wonderful job producing and directing the most organized and efficient Fashion Show I have ever been too. I have included some pictures of my favorite pieces from the show, but I highly recommend anyone who loves fashion as much as I do to pay a visit to the Prey store front located at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bloodmoon/179/131/26 to have a look see for yourself of all the work from the show and other great pieces. Believe me, your fashion senses will tingle in delight!

Urgent News from Carli Chiari Clowes about !Clowes Couture Fashion Show and Charity Auction Cancellation

Due to a boycott by a griefer there will be NO more fashion show and charity auctions at Angel Manor. Things like this are very unfortunate for those who try to come together and help others. We become victims of  attacks and grief by people who use envy, jealousy and slander against us.  They think they have won over those that are trying to do good but not for long. Unfortunately this is Second Life and it contains some nests of crows and snakes. You just have to know how to control the pests.

 I am  officially announcing that we are cancelling the !Clowes Couture fashion show on January 19th and everything will be relocated and rescheduled for February 28th. 

Meanwhile, big news is we will move forward, head held high and my precious name and my reputation is not in the least affected by this griefing.

Stay Tuned for the new Date: SuperModel Fashion City Fashion Show 2014

Unfortunately during the SuperModel Fashion City fashion show the sim crashed on October 13th!
It was not a griefer attack. Linden Lab has confirmed this. It was the high volume of people it attracted. 

 Everyone wanted to see the event of the year! We certainly did not expect the turn out to be so successful and we thank everyone who came out to witness this event.

We' have decided to repeat the show and do it behind closed doors, while streaming it to youtube. We want to give people the opportunity to see it without technical difficulties.

PETIT CHAT ARTFASHION AT PENUMBRA FASHIONWEEK AUTUMN-WINTER- September 13th-22nd

PENUMBRA. Autumn/Winter Fashion Week (AW14), 13th – 22nd of September is set to shine the spotlight on some of Second Life’s leading fashion talents. Set over 10 days, the schedule is packed with 20 shows from 43 emerging and established designers, over 250 new designs in the designer Showrooms and fun-filled events, and one of these talents is Trinity Yazimoto, creator of Petit Chat Artfashion.

Petit Chat will be presenting no less than 8 exclusive gorgeous outfits--all materials enabled--created from Trinity Yazimoto's artworks.

She uses mesh clothing as new form canvas to display her art, redrawing them to make the perfect match for her mesh pieces, making her clothing line something unique and avant garde. 

Petit Chat's exclusive items for Penumbra will be showcased in a Penumbra fashion show on the 15th of Sept. at 2pm SLT (LM to come). Where her designs with exclusively take front and center stage with some of the hottest models to date.
