There comes a time in Second Life were you
want to experience things you would normally do in Real Life. One of them being
dining out. You may be asking yourself, “How
is it even possible since avatars do not need to eat? Well, use your imagination and try a dining
experience in a virtual way.
Where can you go to eat out in Second Life?
There are quite a few places to go depending on what occasion it is; fancy or
casual. Here is a list of a few places where you can go either with your
partner or with a group friends.
The
Pixel Bean
This is a little café which has been on the
grid since 2009 and there isn’t an avie i know who has not popped in to either have a
look around, meet friends or drop in for the lively entertainment. They have a work
station where you can plug in your laptop and work quietly in the corner. The
owner Harlow Heslop, has created a café that is warm and inviting place for you
to just relax.

BATISTA'S
RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE
This restaurant offers full service dining
with the full role play restaurant service you would expect from a restaurant.
All the tables are animated with chairs. Each time offering you a full menu of
the menu. For private dining you can make a booking by simply touching a nc
giver on the desk which presents you with a form to complete. Or you can join
the group, where you will be given the opportunity to dine in a full restaurant
with other diners to give you that complete dining out experience. The
restaurant has had a makeover and looks even better than before.

The
Pixel Pot Restaurant & Café
This cafe gives you a realistic dining
experience in Second Life. It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. slt every day. Which
offers you instant live service. Or if you would prefer you can book a
reservation. The restaurant caters for a family night out or even a romantic
date and offers a catering services.
Basic dining is 100L per person you are
served a three course meal and drinks by a live server. More expensive packages
include more romantic settings and/or private and include items for you to take
home, such as framed photos and to go bags.
Lobster
Claw Restaurant & Castle View House
This Seafood Restaurant is open 24/7-365 days
a year. It offers a full menu and drinks. There are several dining options to
set the mood, from sunset views from the terrace, lake and castle views from
the restaurant. However to enter you will require either options:
1-(Land pass) you can buy at the terminals,
this you will need to gain access to Castle View House and the restaurant/bar
are located in.
this pass will count down from the time of
purchase. It has been set for 24 hours 1440 mins, The time will still count
down even if you leave the region it does not stop because you have gone home,
once it has elapsed to 00.00 you will need to buy another pass. See terminal
(s) for pass price.
2-(The Group) you will be given a link to
follow in local chat once you reach the Main Entrance to the house, Just click
on the link and join the group or copy and paste this into chat and then click
the link.

New Home of The Arbor Restaurant
This is one of Second Life’s oldest and long
surviving restaurants. The restaurant offers several
dining packages to suit everyone’s budget.
Dining Room Package- 250L per couple (50L per
extra adult, 25L per extra child avatar) (24 hour notice or walk in, if server
available)
The Quickie Escape Reservation- 400L for a
couple, 100L per extra adult, 50L per extra child avatar
Instant Reservation - Basic- 500L for a
couple, 100L per extra adult, 50L per extra child avatar (upon availability of
a server)
Instant Reservation – Premium- 650L for a
couple, 100L per extra adult, 50L per extra child avatar (upon availability of
a server)
Basic Personalized Reservation-850 L for a
couple, 100L per extra adult, 50L per extra child avatar. At least 24 hour
notice
Many more packages priced above the 850L
mark.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure that provides a romantic atmosphere for couples and families that like an elegant dining experience. You can make reservations or enjoy a nice glass of wine as you dance in the gazebo or overlook the water from the front patio or balcony. make it an adventure by touring the wine cellar or taking a stroll along the shops hand in hand.
Cheeky Tiramisu Cafe & Forest
Here is a sweet Cafe surrounded by nature and a park. You can dine indoors or outside under a trellis entwined with grapevines. This is the perfect spot to meet for some tea or go on a romantic outing with that special someone. Once you have enjoyed your meal, take a walk along the path and explore the beauty that surrounds you.
