The MONTROSE Club - Lacy Muircastle reporting ....

SL Clubs and music venues come and go, like the ebb and flow of the ocean, without so much as causing the smallest ripple in the hub bub of Second Life.  Then there are those clubs that blossom with a sense of purpose, and whose arrival you just know will make the SL music scene more visible, or should that be more audible?

Just such a music venue threw open its doors this past weekend.  And to put it plainly, it’s simply sensational.

Carla and Capt. Bill
Presenting The MONTROSE Club, owned and run by ᴄᴀʀʟᴀ (CarlanaMegane Resident) and Cαρт. W. Pαтєrѕση (SchoonerBill Resident).  The reason I say that this venue is going to make a significant impression on the music world of SL is down to its owners, Carla and Capt. Bill, two of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.  They are welcoming, and friendly and inclusive, which makes for a place you want to be and want to spend time at.

The MONTROSE Club aims to present the Best in SL Entertainment.

DJ Mikael Grantly
Live DJ's & Singers presenting the BEST in Music from Yesterday... Tomorrow... and Today.  A Classy Club in a Relaxed Location.

DJ Mike Brenham

Join us in a venue where our Entertainers have one Focus - YOU.

The Montrose Club

The club building itself is subtly elegant, using dark wood that gives it warm and acres of glass to give it light.  The is set like a gem and a delicate surround of beautiful park like gardens, where if you want to take a quiet repose under the trees down by the water front you can.

Currently the operating hours are from 12 pm SLT with the last set starting at 4 pm SLT...  that’s every day.  They are currently looking for additional DJ's and Hosts to add to the phenomenal line up that they already have.  If you are interested please contact ᴄᴀʀʟᴀ (CarlanaMegane Resident) or Cαρт. W. Pαтєrѕση (SchoonerBill Resident).

See you there soon you’ll be glad you visited.

  2. I visit the place. It is quite different from all the rest of ballrooms I had been. It presents an impressive location, not copy cat like all the rest. They got a lag meter on display. It shows 0 lag even when the crowd went 21 on its pre-launching days.
