This February, the SL Enquirer Open Mic Auditions go full Anti-Valentine’s, delivering a night of raw emotion, rebellious sound, and music that doesn’t need a love story to hit hard. Whether it’s heartbreak, defiance, sarcasm, or straight-up sonic therapy—this is your stage.
From savage originals to covers dripping with attitude, this open mic is about honesty, edge, and unapologetic expression. Bring the grit, bring the fire, and you could walk away with L$5000 and a featured spotlight in the SL Enquirer.

Ninja Antwoord, keeping things loose, loud, and gloriously unfiltered, alongside the legendary Wolfie Starfire, whose presence and passion set the tone for a night where real music comes first. Together, they’ll steer performers and fans through an evening fueled by sound, community, and zero romantic pretense.

Travel & Adventure ("T&A") recently awarded prizes to the winners of its Photography Contest. After displaying the photographs as an exhibit at the Center for the Arts, the prizes were awarded at an event held at The Purrl Nightclub on January 24, 2026, hosted by DJ Diamonique. First, Second and Third prizes were decided by a Panel of Judges that included distinguished SL photographers Jamee Sandalwood, Cesar Lighthouse, Cana Rath, and Isle Biedermann, as well as T&A officers Fawn Cobalt, Miss Karlie Cobalt, and Awdrin Lane. First Prize was awarded to Kami (Kamila Amaterasu) who won L$ 5,000. Second Prize was awarded to Rosamarie Hock who won L$ 2,500. Third Prize was awarded to Fabio Rhode (Fabio Tumim) who won L$ 1,500. T&A also awarded a "People's Choice" prize to the contestant whose photograph received the most votes from avatars attending the photo exhibition. The People's Choice award was won by Dujour (durakah) who received a gift certificate for a date night for two at La Perle Noire Restaurant. La Perle Noire offers a unique experience featuring a private flight by jet, followed by being chauffered in a Rolls Royce from the airport to the restaurant. At the restaurant, guests experience a fascinating live dining roleplay including private wait staff, a chef, a pianist and a photographer. Congratulations to the winners of this contest.
Travel & Adventure operates a group in which travel providers offer a wide variety of free travel and tourism experiences (e.g. airplane flights, sea cruises, rail trips, bus tours, etc.). By joining this group, SL residents can view the various trips offered and select which ones they would like to experience. There is never a charge for any of the trips offered in the group. The group can be found in Search under "Travel & Adventure". T&A also offers premium services such as private charter trips, vacation and short-term rentals, and complete custom vacation packages.
T&A also offers fun contests and promotions from time to time, such as the recent Photography Contest. T&A is planning more fun-filled and action-packed contests and promotions for the near future. Join the group to keep up on all of the fun activities offered.

In addition to extensive remodeling and renovation, we are also now home to the inclusive SL Diamond Flare dance exhibition team which does choreographed dance performances and cheer performances across the grid, and Provocateur Magazine, Trixie Brandenburg’s leading glamour magazine.
Due to popular demand, the beach is now clothing-optional before 5PM SLT daily - providing there are no visible “on duty” body parts, sexual, or kink-related items on display.
The sim is open 24/7 with teleporters for all our current venues, and we welcome all avatar types.
