SECOND LIFE — July 23, 2026 — Singer-songwriter Meg Groves, known throughout Second Life and Twitch as Wolfie Starfire, will celebrate the release of her new album, Welcome to the Real World, with two special performances at The Purrl Nightclub on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

The album release party will take place at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. SLT, giving fans two opportunities to experience the new music in-world. Both performances will also be broadcast live through Wolfie Starfire’s Twitch channel for listeners joining from outside Second Life.

Welcome to the Real World represents an important new chapter in Groves’ musical journey. Rooted in themes of growth, honesty, love, loss and self-discovery, the album draws upon the real-life experiences and personal moments that have shaped her both as an artist and as a person.

Through her performances as Wolfie Starfire, Groves has created a welcoming bridge between real-world songwriting and virtual-world entertainment. Her shows combine original music, recognizable favorites and genuine interaction with the audience, allowing listeners to feel like an active part of the experience rather than simply spectators.

In addition to her own performances, Wolfie is known within the Second Life music community as co-host of the monthly SL Enquirer Open Mic Auditions alongside Ninja, where she helps provide emerging and established performers with an opportunity to share their music and reach new audiences.

LUXE Paris News: Saturday April 18th FASHION as a LOVE POTION Dont miss the show of the year!

With 25 of the world's top models, a completely innovative concept, and meticulous preparation by an extraordinary team, the FASHION as a LOVE POTION show by LUXE Paris, on April 18 at noon, promises to be the fashion event of the year!

Although she has created several sets for various modeling agencies, this is the first time that Aria Absinthe, LUXE Paris ambassador, has produced a fashion show from start to finish. What makes us think it will be a resounding success? Her passion, her exceptional organizational skills, and the extraordinary team she has assembled.

Looks to seduce

The challenge was not easy. It wasn't simply a matter of handing clothes to the models. This time, the elite models first had to choose the archetype of woman or man they wished to portray in order to seduce on the catwalk, using fashion.

Next, they had to create their own "love potion" look by exploring the approximately 500 outfits in the LUXE Paris flagship store. By combining, enhancing, and transforming LUXE Paris garments to their liking, they will showcase their very personal style in this extraordinary show!

The LOOK of the DAY in the audience

The "Love Potion" fashion show will also feature an interactive performance for the audience. Spectators are invited to attend dressed in their best LUXE Paris outfit, as a jury will select the LUXE Paris LOOK of the DAY!

The winner, male or female, will receive L$5,000 in cash, while the two runners-up will each receive a LUXE Paris gift card worth L$2,000.

Everyone is invited to participate in this first-ever LOOK of the DAY contest. Simply arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the show, dressed in your best LUXE Paris look. The jury will be in the observation tower starting at 11:30 a.m. 

The winner of the LOOK of the DAY contest will be announced at the end of the show. 

LUXE Paris will also take advantage of the event to present its new Beachwear Collection. This equally seductive and charming collection will be presented in the second part of the show.

CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE GIVEAWAY AT RFL CAR & BIKE SHOW BY TRAVEL & ADVENTURE

 

It is April and the RFL Car & Bike show is underway with lots of fun activities, including builds and auctions and the opportunity to see lots of awesome cars and motorcycles on display. The show is a fundraiser for Relay for Life to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support.  As part of the show, Travel & Adventure and Black Purrl are giving away a custom 1 of 1 motorcycle that will be made by Raven Storm Customs and ACS scripting.  A demo version of the custom bike is on display at the T&A booth.  The winner will be able to select whether they would like it made as a male or female version of the bike.  There is no cost to enter the contest.  Just stop by the Travel & Adventure booth in the vendor mall and click the contest bowl to enter the contest. The booth is located at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/RFL%20CarBike%20Show/170/130/30  . Only one entry per avatar is allowed and avatars must be at least 30 days old as of March 27, 2026, in order to win.  A copy of the official contest rules are available at the booth.  The show will be going on through April 20, 2026.  The winner of the custom bike will be selected randomly from among the avatars who have entered the contest.  Come see the car and bike show, have fun, support Rely For Life, and be sure to enter to win the custom motorcycle from

Travel & Adventure operates a group in which travel providers offer a wide variety of free travel and tourism experiences (e.g. airplane flights, sea cruises, rail trips, bus tours, etc.).  By joining this group, SL residents can view the various trips offered and select which ones they would like to experience.  There is never a charge for any of the trips offered in the group.  The group can be found in Search under "Travel & Adventure".  T&A also offers premium services such as private charter trips, vacation and short-term rentals, and complete custom vacation packages. 

Black Purrl is currently the largest travel provider in SL, offering trips by air, land, sea and rail throughout the day.  Black Purrl also operates a restaurant called La Perle Noire, which offers live dining rp experiences.  Black Purrl announces its trips in the Travel & Adventure group.
