Daylight Savings Ends on November 3rd. Don't Forget to Turn your Clock Back 1 Hour - November 3 @ 2 am (USA)

What is daylight Savings about?

Daylight saving time
(DST)—also summer time in British English— is the practice of advancing clocks during the lighter months so that evenings have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backward in autumn

Daylight Savings aka Summer Time Reminder- Sunday March 10th @2 am (United States)

Taken at the Clock Museum in Second Life

What is Daylight Savings?
It is a shift in time created to benefit sports, retail and other activities that could use extra sunlight time after work hours. What it doesn't benefit is sleep and eat patterns, meetings, billing, travel and record keeping. Try to resist eating to late in the day to prevent disrupting your sleep. Another piece of advice is to adjust a clock in your home an hour ahead on Friday Night to continue eating and sleeping on your current schedule this weekend so that by Monday morning, your body will be adjusted for the work week!

Retrieved from day-finder.com, Daylight Savings Time, or DST, begins on the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November.  In March, clocks are moved forward one hour from 2am standard time to 3am DST, and in November, clocks are moved back one hour from 2am DST to 1am standard time.  The phrase "spring forward, fall back" is a helpful reminder of these time changes.

DST News: Turn those clocks back one hour at 2 am on Sunday, November 4th

wikipedia DST chart, the free encyclopedia

What is daylight savings all about?
Daylight saving time (DST) was an idea created by George Vernon Hudson in 1895. The sole purpose was to benefit social and sport events, retailers, as well as other activities with more daylight after work hours. This change in time makes the early morning hours darker but doesn't seem to cause issues with daily life unless you are a night owl, vampire or hermit and dislike that extra light.

It is purposely schheduled for 2 am across the United States and other regions in each time zone so that it doesnt interfere with daytime activities, work, church and school. (unless you work the graveyard shift)

Please note: residents of Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Marianas Islands won't need to change their clocks this weekend. see chart.
