Join us on Sunday, November 21st beginning at 2pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer!  This week's featured artist is the lovely SaraMarie Philly.! Beloved by her many fans, SaraMarie is a music graduate pianist/vocalist who plays a very wide variety of genres. It is not uncommon to hear her perform the #1 song on the Top 40 but then sing a classical opera song causing jaws to drop. Many say she is one of, if not THE best vocalist in SL.

In her original music, SaraMarie just writes what comes to her heart, regardless of what genre it sounds like. She chooses cover songs that have special meaning for her within the lyrics or that connect with her in a musical way.

SaraMarie doesn't really like being pigeon-holed into one genre, which means that at this point in her life she performs a very wide range of musical styles from Classical Opera to R&B, and loves that SL allows her to do that. Her audiences sure seem to like the variation!

Also returning to Terry's this week, our Sunday Showcase continues at 3pm SLT with a special LIVE performance from Suzen Juel, who has entwined and weaved herself into that Tapestry of Talent in Second Life so many Writers and Performers are proud to be a part of.  

Juel has been interviewed for various magazines: Rolling Stone, Wired and is being Broadcast on the Infinite Mind Radio where she also sells her two songs "INTRUSIVE and GIVE ME MERCY"..as well as Indie Spectrum Radio in SL and Radio Paradise.com an Internationally known progressive radio station on the Net!

Suzen is also a painter, and artist as well as a photographer. She was one of the first female musicians in Second life and the first to go down the road of Blues...she brings with her years of talent, experiences, and emotions that embed themselves deep into her songs.

Phemie + Banjo DUAL STREAM & TwoStep SpiritWeaver LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase- November 14th

Join us on Sunday, November 14th beginning at 1pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer!  Joining us this week for a special live dual-stream performance will be Phemie, along with her RL bandmate Banjo McFeelies!  

You will get sucked into the stories Phemie weaves in the songs she covers as well as the haunting originals she shares with us.  Her song selection is varied spanning both time and genre. From the moment you hear those first few keys break through the quiet until the last notes she sings at the end of the hour, you'll be glad you stopped by and looking forward to the next time.

Next up at 2pm SLT Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a special LIVE performance from Twostep Spiritweaver! A talented acoustic singer/songwriter, Twostep was born and raised in North Carolina but has called Texas home for the last 30 plus years.

Musically, he has been influenced by The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, and so many others.

You can find Twostep around the Second Life grid performing at some of the finest venues around, spending a lot of his time performing for charities that are near and dear to him, including cancer research and cures, as well as Feed A Smile.

Known for her distinctively gentle, French lilt, Mimi's talent as a self-taught musician has graced the Second Life music scene for a decade. As her presence and talent grew, so too did her repertoire of covers and originals.

Mimi’s extensive song list doesn't just highlight the eclectic tastes and influences upon her development as an artist, which includes rock, indie and pop. The inclusion of English, French, and German language songs also reflect her travels and experiences living throughout Europe and abroad.

Following Mimi this week at 2pm SLT, Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a LIVE DEBUT performance from Abby Jaidov, a singer/acoustic guitarist with over 20 years experience singing in bars and restaurants in real life. She injects her unique style and energy into the music she performs, which span for several decades of hits.

Abby's biggest influences include 80's, 90's, and current Pop and Rock. She uses a looper and plays acoustic leads along side her slap rhythms and guitar percussions. The results are full sounding jams while rocking to songs most know and love.

Abby plays many instruments but is proficient with lead and rhythm guitar, an excellent bassist, ukulele, drums, as well as sax and other wind instruments. She has dual streamed with several friends including Max, Mimi, and Rosemary, on bass and has been accompanied by virtuoso violinist "Fly" via dual stream. Any time you come to one of Abby's shows, expect to be entertained with good music, a healthy sense of humor and creative originals and covers.

Together As One Halloween 2021 Afterparty, sponsored by Terry's Place- October 3rd

Join us on Sunday, October 3rd beginning at 3pm SLT for a special charity event as we bring you the official Together As One Halloween 2021 Music Festival afterparty, sponsored by Terry's Place, featuring five full hours of live music to help support KIKA, an established children's cancer society located in the Netherlands.

We start things off right after Winter leaves the stage at 3pm SLT, with a special live performance from Kris Composer!  Kris brings his unique and expressive voice to Second Life and his music promises to thrill with his smooth vocals, effervescent personality, and thoughtful lyrics.

Kris started piano lessons at 8 and wrote his first song at around 12 years old. He joined a band in the ’90s but gave that up to go back to college.  After college,  real-life interfered so he cut his hair and got a “real job” in the tech industry.  His love of music never left him and he has discovered that Second Life is an amazing outlet for the music that still lives in his heart.

His extensive song list of covers includes a myriad of genres and artists as well as a sprinkling of his original tunes. Kris classifies his music as “mainstream contemporary, pop-rock” and credits Phil Collins for greatly influencing his musical style.  His original writings come from real-life experiences and he wants “people to make their own stories and have their own feelings from my songs”.  

You will experience a wide array of emotions as Kris Composer pours himself into every song and takes you on an eclectic journey of unforgettable music.

Next up at 4pm SLT, the afterparty continues in support of this important cause with a live performance from Lyric Wolfsong!

JD or Lyric is a songwriter, singer, musician who has been a  troubadour around SL since 2007 on and off. This talented musician delivers his music with his own distinct style and sound.

You will understand why Lyric continues to be a favorite of many.  With a large repertoire of songs, from originals to favorite covers, this is a show to not miss. Come experience the sound of the wolf!  Everything from Classic Rock, Blues, Country,  Originals, and much more!

Following Lyric at 5pm SLT, we welcome one of Terry's very first live performers at their venue, Neomaximus Brandenburg, to the main stage!

At a Neo show, you never know what to expect!  His eclectic style encompasses pop, rock and blues, Indie, Classic rock, grunge, and metal genres. For the best live music experience, Neo sings live and plays his guitar with background accompaniment tracks to bring a full and vibrant sound for his audience's enjoyment.

Neo has played in many bands since coming of age and continues to perform in real life. He has had formal training and continues to explore the threshold of playing other instruments as well. Neo’s musical tastes range from Tchaikovsky to Rage Against the Machine, from Coldplay to Men at Work.  

Up next at 6pm SLT, get ready for more of our official TAO afterparty as we proudly welcome the amazing Donn Devore, a music producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumental musician, singer, composer, and Second Life performer since 2007.

Donn performs a mix of original rock and electronic music.  Combining influences from rock, trance, and techno genres, Donn has developed a delicious blend of sounds from guitar-based love songs to high-energy dance music to experimental electronic pieces.  He demonstrates a broad range of musical talent singing with a rich, soulful voice while jamming on guitar and keyboards. His live shows are exciting to watch with colorful visuals and particle effects creating a fully immersive live music experience while inviting audience interaction.
 
As a trained musician and audio engineer Donn has worked with thousands of musicians on hundreds of studio projects, including film and game soundtracks in his 20+ year career.  He toured the U.S. in 2013 and has shared his music with people of Second Life since 2007.  He continues to explore new musical realms with old instruments and new technologies, elevating the quality of entertainment for audiences in SL

Donn also performs a wide range of cover songs from bands such as Pink Floyd, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, and more.

A native of Houston, Texas, he is currently enjoying real life in Beaverton, Oregon.

Lexie Luan and Ry Anne DEBUT LIVE at Terry's Sunday Showcase- September 26th

Join us on Sunday, September 26th beginning at 7pm SLT for Terry's Sunday Showcase, sponsored by the SL Enquirer!  This week's featured artist is Lexie Luan!

Legend has it that Lexie was born in the back of a tour bus, while her mother rushed through labor so she could sing back up for Elvis. By the age of 10, Lexie mastered the piano, guitar, tenor sax, flute, kazoo, and the Native American war drum.

As a teen, Lexie was tutored and studied hard on the tour buses and was able to take her GED & acquire a degree in music, theater, and fine arts at the age of 16. At 17 she was asked to play lead guitar when Keith Richards didn’t show up for a concert in Stockholm. She played so well, that she was asked by the king of Sweden to play solo the following day at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. When President Jimmy Carter heard about this performance, he asked her to do an encore performance at the White House the following week…

The truth is… Lexie is a singer/songwriter who is jamming on Second Life.

Debuting at Terry's this week, Lexie is a Philly native working as a solo artist performing her original music. Her soulful style of singing lends her female energy to every song she sings that will have you feeling her right down to the core of your being. She is empowering bringing her straight from the heart originals to you with a style that has been described as stunning and very much her own. Truly an experience not to be missed!

Up next this week at 8pm SLT, Terry's Sunday Showcase continues with a LIVE DEBUT performance from Ry Anne, an American singer born in Southern California. From the moment she was able to speak she began her passion to sing and has been singing ever since.  

Ry Anne joined a choir at the age of 8 and entered several competitions throughout her life. People that influence her are the Beatles, Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, just to name just a few.  After coming to Secondlife a few years ago, Ry Anne has decided to get involved with the live music community....trust us you won't be disappointed with the results!

Her voice ranges in styles from soothing ballads to rock and upbeat pop to folk.

The Return of Terry's Bloch Party!- September 25th

Join us on Saturday, September 25th beginning at 12-noon SLT for the long-anticipated return of the Terry's Bloch Party! FIVE fun-filled hours of live music from some of the hottest entertainers on the grid!

Kicking things off at noon in our lovely rose ballroom venue, get ready for another magnificent performance from Skye Galaxy!  Taking a variety of different songs and artists, Skye translates each tune and places them gently beside a soothing, sensual line of vocal and simplistic piano arrangements. Nineteen years ago, he was brought into this world by his mother, of whom resided in Smolensk (Смоленск), Russia, and a father who moved to the States from Berlin. From the first moments of which he could mutter a sound, singing had become nothing short of a passion.

His influences include the vocals and production talents of Imogen Heap, the emotion often found in the likes of Coldplay, Keane, and Death Cab for Cutie, and in the other artists that continue to fill his favorites list; Above & Beyond, Frou Frou, Rufus Wainwright, Kate Havnevik, Yann Tiersen, and many more.

Skye is a musician, performer, and vocalist professionally in his first life, but likes to keep his two lives well apart. He joined Second Life in order to pursue the feeling of growth in his abilities, once more, and those numerous chains of events leading to one better opportunity to the next until you are stumbling for the top.
