Staring at the Sun aka Froezz Moonites – A Bright Star in the Music World -Brooke Blackburn Reporting...

Second Life has no shortage of music venues. You can find one stirring up a crowd almost 24 hours a day, but not all may be your to your liking. There is some truth in the cliché “You get what you pay for”. If you are tired of the endless dance beats and the repetitive top 40 tracks. I’ve found someone that will touch your heart and soul as he sings with a feeling he is singing it only for you. Froezz Moonites aka Staring at the Sun IS that person. From the moment you hear him, he will bring out emotions you never felt before.

Staring at the Sun has been singing for most of his life and has a vocal range few can compete with. He has made a name for himself in Second Life as well as in his first and has the talent to back that up. Anyone who has enjoyed his music will testify to that. He brings an energy to the stage that is electrifying from his first song to his last.

Arriving in Second Life on July 27, 2008, he didn’t waste any time taking the music scene by storm. He took a little break for his virtual gigs but is back now with a vengeance. Froezz performs with a voice that many can tell is close to his real-life mentors. His style is more comfortable with American county pop but has a wide range of songs including those from Radio Head, the Beatles, and many more in his playlist. His set the night I attended consisted of songs ranging from Harry Nilsson to Glen Campbell and everything in between. Without further ado , meet Staring at the Sun aka Froezz Moonites.

Interview with Staring at the Sun (SatS):

Brooke Blackburn (BB): At what age did you first start singing?

SatS: I started singing when I was 5 years old. My dad has a few recordings of my brother and I singing some kid's tunes. One song is called a diamond in the Ruff from a church record we had.
Once I started I didn't stop. It was something no one could take away.

BB: Wow, you started at a really young age. Do you have any interests besides the music industry?

SatS: I have a water company in real life where we purify water with sound. A fishing lure manufacturing company and a makerspace. These all stem off of sound in some aspects of being creative.

BB: That's really interesting. Did you come to SL to sing or was it something else?

SatS: Yes, I signed on with a specific agenda... to sing. LOL, I feel free when I am singing. I want others to feel that same feeling.

BB: I felt that at your concert. Music can become a soundtrack in our lives provoking emotions and feelings for sure. So, how long have you been singing in Second Life?

SatS: I believe my first gig was August 2008, with an open mic at whiskey go round. Not sure if it is the same one that is still open today.

BB: Not sure I've been there. Aside from SL do you perform in clubs in real life?

SatS: Not at the present, Covid put a stop to that, but I do perform on Stageit.com

BB: Oh yes! Covid definitely changed a lot of things for a lot of people. I think it's great that SL can be an outlet to still do what you love in a safe way. What artists have influenced you or who are your favorite singers?

SatS: Harry Nilsson, Glen Campbell, Jimmy Web, Jimmy Bowen, Leon Russell, Dion, The Beatles, Alabama Shakes, The Blues in general, choir arrangements, Switchfoot, Coldplay, and many more. These are just the ones that were impaction in my mind, like these guys have their shit together.

BB: You named a lot of greats. Do have any type of songs that are your favorite?

SatS:  Ones that talk about your mind. Ones that help you use it, keep it clear, show you better thinking, how to love yourself, and how to love others. I feel these are here to better the human race. To help us understand ourselves better.

BB: I agree. Lyrics can be powerful messages that can change one's life. Do you have any original songs in your sets?

SatS: Yes many, at least 15 originals. Though I have 4 albums worth ready to be released as we speak, all in various forms of doneness.

BB: Congratulations on your albums! We'd love to help get more people to experience your music! For booking who can venue owners contact?

SatS: My manager’s name is BAD (Badone). He can handle all inquiries about me from bookings to my song list.

Staring at the Sun is an act few can follow. Check him out at one of the many venues around Second Life. You may even see me there on occasion enjoying an evening of fun and great music!

BELLA BISTRO: ROMANTIC DINING AT ITS FINEST – JOSH (THOMAS1 BELLEC) REPORTING. PHOTOS BY AUGI

When you think of Fine Dining in SecondLife, one name stands out among residents young and old:  Bella Bistro Romantic Dining. Situated on the shore of The Blake Sea, Bella is arguably the longest-running restaurant on the grid.  Seeped in Old World charm, Bella is well-known for, among other things, its excellent wait staff.  From the Head Chef to the Sommelier, the staff are like a family. The Hostess has been there for ten years, as has her husband, the Head of Security. The average time their waiters have been there is 8 years.  When you arrive, you select your table, either in the cozy dining room or on the patio watching a Blake Sea sunset.  Simply place your order, and your meal will arrive within moments, without ever seeing your discrete waiter deliver your meal.

You won’t leave Bella hungry either. You can eat for 20 minutes and your plate looks just as full as when it was first delivered. And when you finally do decide you have eaten enough; your waiter will whisk away the plates between courses with equal discretion and alacrity and you won’t even see them do it. I was fortunate the other night, prior to the Friday evening rush, to be able to catch up with Clause Millar, Bella’s owner, and his General Manager, Silky Soulstar.  They shared with me the fascinating story of Bella’s and how it came to be one of the premier restaurants on the grid.

Josh (Thomas1 Bellic) (JB).  So tell me, Mr. Millar what inspired you to build Bella’s?

Clause Millar (CM):  Bella was built in 2009 by Sword Hammerer in partnership with Lucyangel Vacano to fit the need for a romantic restaurant with a preeminent style and character.  After changing hands to Luciano Lionheart, the Bistro was remodeled closer to its current rendition. However, the grounds and building were upgraded again by designer and builder Catta Grizot in 2017 upon commission by Bella's now sole-owner, Claude Millar.

Silky Soulstar (SS):  The inspiration of the build is a Tuscan, European style because that instills the imagery of exquisite dining and also the grace that accompanies romance.

JB:  And what kind of “atmosphere” can we expect to find at Bella?

CM:  Bella is situated prominently on the Blake Sea. Having a coastal atmosphere, along with rolling terrain goes along with a "Tuscan meets California" atmosphere. It's casual, but at the same time refined, and fits with a variety of elegant scenarios.  So, while the mood is very peaceful, you can really feel an energy in your soul.

JB:  You do have a very lovely location here, right on the Blake Sea.   I have heard customers describe how they discovered Bella while out sailing.  Have you considered putting in a boat dock to cater to the seafaring crowd?

CM:  Yes.  We're very proud of our place along the Blake Sea. We have plans to expand our front terrace by moving the dance stage to the waterfront. In this way, we hope to welcome upscale yacht and watercraft to the venue.

SS:  Something about water also puts people at ease, and they can enjoy the venue even if they don't have a boat.

JB:  I understand you have your own winery?  Tell me about that, please?

CM:  We grow our own grapes for production at the restaurant; carefully choosing the right blends for the wines we serve our patrons.  The rolling terrain, and the location on the sea, as well as the PERFECT SL weather we enjoy every day, makes for an exquisite wine, barrel after barrel from our proprietary old vine Nero d'Avola and Teroldego hybrid. Try it and you won’t go back to any other SL blend. That's our promise.

JB:  Where can we find a copy of your events Calendar?

SS:  The calendar of events is posted via sign-age on the pavilion stage.  Currently, DJ Harti is performing every day from 4PM to 5PM SLT.  Every Sunday and every Wednesday from Noon to 2PM SLT we have our Blues Party as well.  Sunday, February 7th we will have a powerful tribute to Billy Joel from 2-3PM SLT.

JB:  Have people ever booked Bella for private events?  Wine Tastings?  Wedding Receptions? Anniversary Dinners and the likes?

SS: Yes of course! We also love to host the actual wedding ceremony itself! The location on the sea and the romantic setting is perfect for a variety of occasions.

JB:  I see you have an entertainment pavilion.  What do you use that for?

CM:  Live entertainment for our patrons is provided on a programmed basis at Bella. We have Artist-in-Residence Elten Jonas, and also DJ Harti who also helps celebrate music by Blues artists and other legendary performers.  Both are exclusively performing at Bella.

JB:  Do you have a staff that helps you run the restaurant, plan events, etc?

CM:  Depending on the event we have staff to help serve our patrons. Routine occasions are typically self-service so that we can offer our patrons maximum flexibility. Wonderfully scripted rezzers provide a variety of menu items and beverages on demand. However, absolutely, on occasion, we love to host and provide exclusive, and genuinely warm service.

JB:  I understand you underwent renovations in the recent past.  What plans do you have and what can we expect from Bella in the future?

CM:  Bella has been in place since 2009, making it the longest-running restaurant venue in Second Life.  We plan to always remain classic and to keep the same look we have had since we arrived on the SL social scene almost a dozen years ago.  Renovations are done on an as-needed basis to upgrade to the latest standards that Second Life has to offer.  Maintaining a superior build is the commitment we have to provide the ultimate class of venue that our patrons are looking for.

JB:  Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

CM:  Our back room is a perfect locale for wine tasting, and an excellent setting to learn more about wine in general. And we also have Valentine’s Day coming up soon, so consider that a perfect opportunity to visit Bella too!

SS:  Yes.  And be sure to join the Bella VIPs group to stay up to date on everything.

So there you have it, folks.  Whether you are looking for a setting for that romantic evening when you plan to pop the question to that special someone, or simply looking for a site for your next business luncheon, be sure and check out the original Bella Bistro Romantic Dining.
Be there.  Aloha!
JB

Spotlight on Kris Composer - An 80's Music Revivalist in Second Life - Orion Baral Reporting

The ’80s were a time of major socioeconomic change in technology, pop culture in fashion, film, and music. It was an era when inhibitions were on full display in particular with the launch of MTV and music videos. We have come a long way since then with the internet, youtube, and the explosion of social media giving many people the opportunity to share their talents without a record label. With technology constantly evolving, today Second Life provides a virtual stage and global audience for a new kind of performance and concert experience, less the high ticket prices and travel.

Kris Composer is a music composer and artist that shares his talent in Second Life. His voice is very reminiscent of artists like Bryan Adams, Richard Marx, and Lou Gramm. It feels like we're on the verge of a 1980s revival with his covers of some of the best ‘80s songs. The SL Enquirer got caught up with Kris to learn more about him and how he made it to the SL music scene.

Orion Baral (OB): Thank you for taking the time to sit down with me, I greatly appreciate it. So let start off by saying I caught your show at Terry’s Sunday Showcase and was highly impressed. You have a great voice. Can you tell our readers where you started singing and when you knew it was a passion of yours?

Kris Composer: Thank you and it was a lot of fun. I’ve been singing one way or another all my life
however not so much in public until later on. I am a musician and singing is the part to complete my compositions. When I heard myself for the first time on recorded tracks, it was strange however it did complete my compositions as my own. I use awesome tools like Cubase and Logic Pro to help me put my material together.

OB:  Must have been a great revelation when you first heard yourself. So tell me, how long have you been performing in SL? And how did you come across Second Life?

Kris Composer: I joined SL in 2008 out of curiosity however did not log in very much and in fact only logged back only in late 2017. I discovered that there was live music and people actually singing and playing instruments. So I started looking into how that was possible and started singing at open mics like O-lounge and MUSIC Elixir of LIFE. I got approached at one point and asked to perform a show. This happened in early 2018 and it was scary at first but soon became a new way to perform for others and I was enjoying myself. I have performed on SL over 1000 times if not more over the years and enjoy it even more now.

OB: Well I can say a lot of your fans thank you for coming back to Second Life and giving it another try. So, your profile states that you have written your own music. Do you play your own songs or are they just personal pieces you keep to yourself?

Kris Composer: My passion is to compose music and lyrics as a way to express myself. I have written many songs in my life and have shared a few in SL, such as Just Jump, Past Has Me, Where Are You Now, Dream In Reality, Dream Of U, and a few others in the works. I released to the mainstream, my music in RL, Just Jump, and Past Has Me. I even produced a video for Past Has Me and released it very recently.

OB: That is great having your own music released in Real life, that has to be something special to you. One question I like to ask any musician I interview is, every musician has a story about music and what it means to them or how it moves them. Can you share yours with our readers?

Kris Composer: Music is the spice of my life. When I sing one of my songs or a cover song, I always feel the words and the melody. I always associate a feeling or a memory to what I’m singing or performing. When others feel what I’m singing, it is even more exhilarating as I know we connected in some way.

OB: Within Second Life can you tell me what are your goals in the music world? Also since you once performed real life is that something you would like to see yourself heading into the future with your music?

Kris Composer:  My goal in Second Life in regards to music, is simply to continue to share my passion with others. One thing I always say during my shows “the show is not about me, it's about you”. Meaning that if the audience feels good, I feel good. As far as RL goes, music is a great hobby, bringing me joy and happiness. I plan on releasing more of my music via the most popular music distributions out there and maybe create some fun videos as well. Who knows what the future holds.

OB: That I must say is a good outlook to have. Making it all about the effect your music has on the fans says a lot. You really seem to care about how the fans perceive your music and you seem very sincere about it.  I have heard you singing a lot of different genres. Do you have a favorite one and more specifically a “go-to” song that you just love to sing?

Kris Composer: That is a tough question to answer. It all depends on my and the audience’s mood. I love rock and pop.. sometimes high-energy songs and sometimes “mooshy”  music .. like romantic ballads and so on. I do love Phil Collins and Sting music and tend to migrate towards their respective material.

OB: If anyone that lived through the 80s with MTV and doesn't love Sting or Phil Collins, something is wrong with them :) What would you be doing right now in Second life, if you weren’t performing? Or would Second Life even be on your radar?

Kris Composer: To be honest, I’m not sure if I would be on SL very much. The music industry in SL has kept me going as I found an outlet for my passion.

OB: Is there anything else you would like to tell our readers about you or what you are doing or what is coming up in your life?

Kris Composer:  I will be writing more and maybe start doing special shows with just my material. I will also be continuing to go to SL live jams in RL which is a very awesome experience. I would say to the readers, check out my Facebook Page and YouTube channel for details about what I’m doing.

Well folks, that is it. It was a pleasure sitting down with Kris and spending some time to get to know him better. I must say Kris is a very humble person a great character to have in a musician. Check out his music and if you get the chance, head to one of his live shows, take a look at his calendar.

Ciao

PLAYDOLLS: THIS AIN’T YOUR DADDY’S GENTLEMAN’S MAGAZINE – JOSH (THOMAS1 BELLIC) REPORTING

I love my work as a Reporter for SL Enquirer.  I get to travel to places I might never visit otherwise, and I get to help introduce our readers to some of the more interesting aspects of life on the grid.  Some assignments are more challenging than others.  This week we take a look at Playdolls Magazine and the Playdolls Organization.  It meant going to parties, touring the compound, interviewing some of the grid’s most gorgeous residents – Yes…a tough assignment, I know, but SOMEBODY had to do it!  I never would have dreamed, as a 14-year-old adolescent, umm…” admiring” my Dad’s Playboy magazine (for the articles, of course) …that I would one day get to interview the proprietors of the modern-day equivalent:  Playdolls.

In the course of this assignment, I had the pleasure of being shown around the Playdoll’s campus by Playdolls General Manager and 2021 PlayDoll of the Year, (Silky) Cari Soulstar.  She introduced me to Chief Executive Officer Brea Brianna, 2016 PlayDoll of the Year, as well as Miss November 2018, Gilly O’Connor, and Miss February 2021 Liz Bergamasco.  They were all gracious enough to answer my questions.

Josh (Thomas1 Bellic) (JB):  Tell me, Silky?  How did Playdolls get started?

Silky Soulstar (SS):  Playdolls was founded by Tazzy Jenkins and a couple of partners in SL in 2007.  She passed away suddenly in 2018, but it was her consistency and kind demeanor that gave the group its longevity.

JB:  How is Playdolls Magazine different from the other gentlemen’s magazines on the Grid today?

SS:  Playdolls differentiates itself in that it has been around for so long, since 2007. It is the authentic men's interest periodical in SL, and has won six SL awards over that time. The periodical itself limits modeling to pinups and includes creative writing and artistic representation. The periodical is also a popular publication for our sponsors to market their businesses. As technology improves in SL, and other advancements are made, you can also see those same evolutions in the Playdolls Periodical. The longevity and consistency of the periodical makes it the reader’s choice and attracts modeling talent because people trust that we have lasting power.

JB:  What makes the Playdolls campus different from other adult sims out there?

SS:  The campus includes two buildings that our founder rezzed in their original location.   We also have Tazzy's memorial on-premises.  There is an outdoor dance club with a pool, and our company headquarters.  One of Tazzy's buildings is the dormitory for our models.  The other is our Mansion which includes gathering spaces with activities.  None of the furniture on the premises is adult rated:  All poses are PG. We believe the social dynamic between the sexes is enough to attract a more rewarding interaction, as opposed to open sex sims.  Playdolls has never really been about sex, or adult-rated content other than our pinups who pose nude in the periodical.  Think of the models as the modern equivalent of the socially engaging flapper girls from the 20's!  The social gatherings that the sim facilitates help support the sim and the magazine. People tend to support one another when they are together!

JB:  Tell me about your VIPs.  What makes these folks so special, and what are the advantages of VIP Membership?

SS:  VIPs are our lifeblood. It's so important to have a vibrant and socially active following to support the periodical and models. We do the magazine for everyone's enjoyment... the ladies love modeling, our writers love writing... and our VIPs love reading all of the content. We also all genuinely love each other's company.  We have a good time role playing, chatting, or just playing social games like pool, darts, greedy, chess, backgammon, or whatever! We also love to dance and listen to good music together. The VIPs gain the company of the ladies of Playdolls in a rewarding, unpretentious social setting. The staff has been tipped, but it's not expected at all. Services are not for hire at Playdolls nor will they ever be.  VIPs are there at Playdoll's for no fuss and just for their enjoyment, no strings attached.

JB:  What does it take to become a Playdoll?

Liz Bergamasco (LB):  Before you decide to become a Playdoll you need to be sure you know yourself very well and know you have the characteristics needed to be a good Playdoll.  You need to be self-assured, socially committed and most importantly, you need to have a true and honest heart so you can really support and care about the VIPs and other ladies.  You need to go through an interview to become a Playdolls contestant after which you garner votes, 10L at a time, from your family, friends, and everyone else willing to do you a favor. The contestant with the most votes will become a Playdoll.

Gilly O’Connor (GO):  In a way, it is a popularity contest BUT, it is all up to the model/contestant to promote herself. She can do that by visiting the Mansion and chatting and getting to know other Playdolls and guests. Additionally, you need to promote yourself in other groups and among family and friends. It is helpful, though not a requirement, to be current with a mesh body and head.

JB:  Why would someone want to be a Playdoll?

LB:  When I became a dancer, I loved the aspect that you can make people happy by what you are doing and also the fact that you are part of a social group.  I am a lady with social graces who loves to take care of people.  As a Playdoll I can use these natural talents. I absolutely love the strong connection between the gorgeous ladies of the sorority and I feel honored to be part of it.  I enjoy giving men the attention they need.  To be a listening ear for them and make them feel appreciated is a real pleasure for me.

GO:  I was searching for my niche in SL that would give me something to be a part of to bring me out of my shell. I came across Playdolls at a motorcycle rally where they had a promotional stand. I visited and here I am now! *smiles*

JB:  What are the advantages or responsibilities of being a Playdoll?

LB:  As a Playdoll you are not just a model.  You represent our community.  You wear your title with pride and dignity. One of the advantages of making it as Playdoll is the wonderful chance you get to shine and sparkle on the cover as well as on a bunch of pages in our precious magazine.  You are not just a model for a month.  Once you win the voting, you will become a Playdoll's model for life.  There will be opportunities to have more Photoshoots and you will be on the Playdoll's Annual Calendar.

GO:  I think the biggest advantage, especially here lately, is the bond and sisterhood we have. For our active Playdolls we have our dormitory where we get an apartment. We have areas within the dormitory where we lounge and hang out together when we have downtime. I love planning our outfits each month for our themed pictorials for the magazine.

SS:  Playdolls models take on the responsibility of being stewardesses of the Playdolls brand so that it can continue.  The benefits to being a model with Playdolls is that the model gets to be featured in one of SLs longest-running periodicals.  How cool is that! Our models also get a two-room suite to decorate to their liking on campus.

JB:  How is the Playdoll of the Year selected?  What is that process like?

LB:  Every active Playdoll of the Month will automatically be entered into the yearly contest.  There is a contest board where people can vote for you as often as they want.  The one with the most success will become Playdoll of the Year.  She gets the honor to be one of the few lucky ones to be an ambassador of Playdolls.

SS:  The winning PDOY then takes up the honor of being a prominent ambassador to the Playdolls brand.  If the PDOY cannot serve for any reason, the runner up became the next girl up! Hopefully going forward things will become more stable in the future.

JB:  Where would you like to take Playdolls?  What is the “Big Picture” here?

SS:  We will continue to refine the periodical, and take that art form as far as it can possibly go... taking advantage of new advancements and technologies as SL evolves. We want exquisite photography, and enticing journalism and entertainment for our readers.  We want to collaborate, and give notice to all the fabulous content creators in SL. We hope to connect with the wider SL grid socially and expand our network so that we collaborate with a diverse group of VIPs and contributors. We really would like more diversity too, so we are casting a wide net to welcome everyone and be very inclusive (within reason to the adult human form factor of course).

A letter from the CEO, Brea Briana

Playdolls is not only a magazine, it is a culture built on dreams. We all join SL to refine our lives and accomplish things that may not be attainable in real life. What we offer is a chance for normal girls in SL to wear our tag with pride, build confidence, and feel wonderful about themselves. This culture, if embraced, can change your SL life forever. And with every new model, and every new Issue we aim to only convey the pride and love we have for our models all across the SL Grid.
When I won Miss February in 2016 both my worlds changed forever. It is an experience I have never regretted and Playdolls has been in my heart since that day and has never left it.  After the tragic passing of our founder Tazzy Jenkins in 2018, I pledged to remain tireless and steadfast in my aim to make Playdolls Magazine the premier Men’s pictorial in SL.  With my trusted colleagues, Silky and Gilly, and all the models and staff, I feel we are well on our way to accomplishing this dream.
Brea

What Could Go Wrong? Let's Visit The Bermuda Triangle - Stacey Cardalines Reporting

2020 was perhaps a cursed year... so why not start 2021 in the Bermuda Triangle? Where danger rears her ugly head, Stacey Cardalines is sure to tread. My sources informed me of a paranormal hotspot on SL, and I was chartering a boat five minutes later.

The Bermuda Triangle is a section of the Atlantic Ocean where a bunch of ships and planes have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The points of the triangle are roughly Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. I don't know why Bermuda got the naming rights. I think there may already be a Miami Triangle involving cocaine, I'll have to nose around later.

Famous incidents involve the Carroll A. Deering grounding/abandonment, the Pride Of Baltimore sinking, the USS Cyclops vanishing (the largest non-combat loss of life in US Navy history), the Flight 19 lost squadron and the missing Great Issac Lighthouse lightkeepers disappearance.

Noting that almost every possible angle to the Triangle story has been debunked (there really isn't a larger number of vanishings there, and driving ships through places that have hurricanes before people invented weather satellites was a bad idea) only screws up an easy paycheck for ol' Miss Cardalines, so we won't pay any mind to those book-learning type of people. I've got Fear to monger and dresses to buy.

There are few benefits to "dying of COVID," but one of them is "You won't be sucked into a paranormal interdimensional watery grave." Unless you get the COVID at the Bermuda Triangle, of course. I'm not even sure if Bermuda is letting in Americans, but we also snuck in, by boat. We sailed in unannounced, during a tropical storm, and I do my dirt by my lonesome... with my photographer. "Two if by sea," as Americans say.

But that is neither here nor there.

Of course, it was stormy when we arrived off of Bermuda. I want to say right here that SL needs more hurricane sims. Hunting for stormy sims is how I found the Bermuda Triangle, but- again- that gets in the way of a good Myth. This guy nailed the stormy aspect. Rough seas, pouring rain, vivid lightning, heavy winds, mist, lighthouses... I grew up in New England, I know nautical, and so does this guy. SL has a tendency- mostly justified- towards sunny days, but it is not a true reflection of how most of our weather comes and goes in the real world.

Paranormal stuff beyond vampires and zombies is also under-represented on SL. Spooky is Better. We could use a Salem, a Castle Rock, a Loch Ness, a Haddonfield, an Amityville... folks, you know I'm out there looking for it. It's nice to see someone illuminate an aspect of it. He really did a nice job, and I'll eventually chat him up and see if he has other sims working along with these themes.

You only have a small area of land with which to move at this sim. You land on a small island, home to a cool lighthouse. You can go up to the top and use a telescope, although I think it is just a pose and you have to zoom the camera around yourself. Nice effect, though. It looks like I was shooting down the plane in the picture, but I was just, like, looking at it. Honest!

What you see from this perch is first-rate SL Destruction. There is a ship sinking, a rescue helicopter trying to fish survivors out of the water, a second rescue helicopter that crashed onto some rocks and exploded, a sunken submarine, a pilotless ship circling aimlessly and another boat that crashed onto some rocks. That boat, which looks suspiciously like the Orca, may have been the one which left the abandoned shark cage floating in the water... because if you visit an island nation in a pandemic and then go to the place known for sinking boats, why not throw your ass more completely on the line by cage-diving with sharks during a hurricane?

The amount of floating human corpses being fed upon by fishes leads me to strongly not recommend any locally caught seafood. God made bacon for a reason, kids.

(Our editors are left to wonder if Stacey became aware of the sunken submarine because she donned scuba gear and dove into the water with the sharks, or if she accidentally stepped off of the island and sank like a pretty little journalistic stone. She is demanding immediate payment for this article, so we assume that she got out of the depths somehow and that her dry cleaning bills are immense.)
