On July 23rd, The Grind Gaming Cafe & The Gaming Grid invite the Second Life community to celebrate the opening of their new home with an afternoon of live music, games, prizes, shopping, and community spirit.
The Grind Gaming Cafe, established in 2023, has become a welcoming destination where residents can chat, relax, play games, and enjoy a virtual cup of coffee or tea in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Open to all avatar types—including humans, furries, and everyone in between—The Grind is proud to be an inclusive adult venue where friendships and communities thrive.
Alongside The Grind is The Gaming Grid, an initiative dedicated to becoming the premier community hub for gamers across Second Life. Its mission is to connect gaming communities through collaboration, shared events, and cross-promotion, helping residents discover new games, new experiences, and new friends. Support systems for gaming communities are currently in development, including the upcoming Gaming Grid HUD, which will showcase active gaming groups, events, and community members across the grid.
