Valentine’s Day is a special time for couples. It is the one time of year for romance and demonstrating your love for your significant other.  Showing your partner you care should be an every day event but there is something about this day that makes loving someone even more special. Time is the most valuable thing we can give.   It’s not about expensive gifts, it is about the quality of time you can give each other.

In Second Life, you can find plenty of things to share with that special someone. Here are some great  fine dining ideas to add to your day.

Avatars are notoriously known for not having to eat to survive but why limit yourself from the roleplay of sharing a romantic candelit dinner with the person you love? Second Life has resturants with breathtaking views and it give you the chance to get away from the crowded club scene.  Dress your best and share great converation in a relaxing atmosphere with a glass of virtual wine.

Dinner and a Movie in Second Life- Nena Dreadlow Reporting…

  Many couples love to do dinner and a movie on date night, but in Second Life can you really enjoy that date night experience?  The answer is yes! 

Not all outings have to involve dancing at a venue or staying at home lounging around on couches. Changing settings and doing different things can be fun as well as keep relationships fun and interesting. To bring on the romance, simply set your sun position to midnight or sunset.

 I have chosen some of my favorite restaurant and movie theaters to go to on a special date or going out with friends.  Of course Avatars don’t need to eat to survive. It is mainly about spending time with your significant other and friends while socializing or enjoying a good movie together. Let’s start with some restaurants first.

Marina Ramer: Modern-day Aphrodite and her Delicious Meals of Love- Mikile Vinciolo Reporting…

It was a crisp, warm, breezy morning when I dropped in Shopping city, a sim-wide Tuscan city that houses Aphrodite Shop goods. The city was minutely bustling with clientele for this time of morning.

Marina was standing, awaiting my arrival as she towered over my virtual being, partially rezzed. She was clad in all black, a dramatic contrast to the Valentine's Day decorum, flora and fauna, and delicious romantic culinary fare. We retrieve a bistro-style table, presumably her creation, and she offers me coffee. I take a sip and snap out of my drowsy stupor, as it was needed to handle this lady-on-the-move. She immediately takes this look of enthusiasm and readiness that I had to honor with the swiftness. So, I obliged and immediately delved into the conversation that I so excitedly looked forward from the moment we had agreed to huddle for a glimpse into her life.
