After a decade of existence, the LUXE Paris Look of the Year competition, is renewing itself to be even more accessible to all fashion enthusiasts.
Since last spring, the renowned fashion house holds a LOOK of the DAY competition at all its runway shows, honoring the best LUXE Paris look in the public, with the intention of organizing a grand final at a later date.
The next edition of LOOK of the DAY will take place on October 17th. Indeed, the launch of LUXE Paris's new Fall 2026 collection will be the occasion to present the second LOOK of the DAY award to the spectator wearing the most outstanding LUXE Paris look.
To participate, simply attend LUXE Paris AUTUMN RADIANCE fashion show on October 17th, dressed in your best LUXE Paris look, and be in the audience at least 20 minutes before the show, at 9:40 AM SLT. The jury of fashion professionals and media representants will select the LOOK of the DAY winner — the most stunning LUXE Paris look in the audience — before the runway begins at 10. The votes will be tallied during the show, and the grand prize winner and two runners-up will be announced at the AUTUMN RADIANCE finale.
The LOOK of the DAY winner will receive L$5,000 cash, while the runners-up will each receive a L$2,000 LUXE Paris gift card.
The LOOK of the DAY judges, who know LUXE Paris well having collaborated on the Look of the Year contest for many years, is searching for looks that truly represent this refined brand, established in Second Life since 2012. There are few stylistic limitations given LUXE Paris's commitment to diversity, but the looks must, of course, reflect couture elegance, the brand's hallmark.
The jury for the next edition of the LOOK of the DAY on October 17th will be composed of LUXE Paris owners, Parisian Skytower and Mika Palmyra, LUXE Paris designer VanessaJane, LUXE Paris Communications director, Hyaecinte, Chemak Kamala, SL Confidencial magazine editor, Bellisima Benelli, Attention SL magazine editor, and Melinda Bayn, The Seasonal Angels and 1st runner up LOOK of the DAY April 2026. Lathilda Jannsen will be the Judges Host and the coordinator of the election.
The competition is open to everyone, professionals and amateurs alike, women and men.
At the contest's inaugural edition last spring, Paris Saint-Laurent, a newcomer to the world of virtual fashion, was crowned LOOK of the DAY with the LUXE Paris AMORE evening gown and a seductive look perfectly in keeping with the show's theme that day, ''Fashion as a Love Potion''.
Top model Melinda Bayn took second place with an elegant urban outfit created through a clever mix-and-match approach. Third place was awarded to professional model Athena Fireheart, who chose the sensual LUXE Paris OOOh LA LA evening gown.
A collection of woolens
To WARM our HEARTS
in this WORLD in TURMOIL
In addition to playing a cool styling game, spectators will have the pleasure of discovering LUXE Paris's new Fall collection, Autumn Radiance, in a mega fashion show hosted by SL celebrity Diana Balhaus, ''the voice of virtual fashion'', and top model Lorez Aichi, LUXE Paris deputy ambassador.
The runway show, an Aealla Illyar production with Excelsior agency, will feature some thirty creations in woolens "to warm our hearts in this world in turmoil," emphasizes Hyaecinte, the fashion house's Communications Director.
"And as always, we are focusing on the diversity of our styles," continues Hyaecinte.
"LUXE Paris embraces all fashion trends with no other limit than couture elegance, inspired by the great names of European fashion."
LUXE Paris collections are spontaneously composed of elements of different natures thanks to a team of four designers with very diverse styles.
From the outset, the brand's founders, Parisian Skytower and Mika Palmyra, juxtaposed two contrasting looks: Paris expressing an ultra-stylish yet discrete fashion, while Mika loves to unleash vibrant colors and a touch of controversy. To this was added the couture audacity of Avalon Chrome and the artistic style of VanessaJane, two winners of Look of the Year (2020 and 2024) who dreamed of becoming designers and who were trained by Skytower and Palmyra.
The COUTURE DREAM: AFFORDABLE
Another distinctive feature of LUXE Paris fashion is its accessibility.
"When we launched LUXE Paris twelve years ago, it was for the joy of creating but also to make the dream of couture accessible, and nothing has changed since," emphasize Skytower and Palmyra.
"Second Life is a place to dream big, so it was essential to find a high-fashion brand here, at affordable prices."
A complete LUXE Paris outfit, usually including shoes, costs between L$350 and L$400. Even the evening gowns, displayed in an elegant salon in the main store, are not more expensive. The same goes for the house's extraordinary fur collection.
