LA PLAGE DE DOODLE – A REVOLUTION IN IMMERSIVE ADULT EXPERIENCES: JOSH (THOMAS1 BELLIC) REPORTING

As a reporter for the SL Enquirer, I often get the opportunity to visit some of the grid’s most novel, exciting, fun, creative, and revealing builds. La Plage de Doodle (French for “Doodle Beach”) qualifies in ALL of those categories.  I had the opportunity to meet a most entertaining couple, Bella and Mickey Doodle, and they insisted I tour their delightful build.  Taking adult entertainment in SecondLife to a whole new level, I was totally amazed by what they had created.  A recent addition to the SL Landscape, Bella and Mickey agreed to sit with me and answer some questions for our SL Enquirer readers.  What follows is their story.

Josh (Thomas1 Bellic) (JB):    Greetings Bella and Micky.  Thank you for coming today. Please  tell our readers. Just what is 'La Plage de Doodle'?

BellaRose Doodle (BD):     Hi Josh.  Thank you for the opportunity to be featured in SL Enquirer. We truly appreciate the time and care you’re putting into this, and we’re excited to share La Plage de Doodle with your readers.

La Plage de Doodle is an immersive adult island experience built around exploration, connection, and self-discovery. From the moment you arrive, there’s a quiet pull... something that invites you to slow down, look closer, and feel more present.

It isn’t just a destination... its a progression. The spaces, the atmosphere, and the people all work together to create a sense of tension and curiosity… something that builds the longer you allow yourself to remain inside it.

JB:     Sounds interesting. Where did you get the idea for such an unusual build?

BD:     It began very simply. We had a homestead with about 5,000 prims... it was just our home, and we opened it to anyone who wanted to come spend time with us. Someone mentioned creating a group, and from there it started to grow organically.

As more people came, something shifted. It stopped feeling like just a shared space and started becoming something experiential. We eventually moved to a full sim with 20,000 prims, and that’s when everything opened up... our ideas expanded, the layout deepened, and we were able to shape something far beyond what we originally imagined.

That’s where the “Fantasy Island” concept truly took hold... the idea that exploration should lead you somewhere unexpected. As you move through the island, you begin to find things… subtle invitations that open into entirely different environments, different moods, different fantasies. What began as a home evolved into a place where curiosity leads you forward, and discovery becomes part of who you are within it.

JB:     Did you do this all yourself? Or did you have help, and if so, with whom?

BD:     This was built entirely by Mickey and me. Every detail… the flow, the structure, and the emotional tone of each space...was something we created together.

Because of that, the island carries a very personal energy. It isn’t assembled...it’s felt. It reflects how we see connection, how we experience intimacy, and how we believe a space like this should unfold around the people inside it.

JB:     So then, tell me. What is the core concept here?

BD:     The core concept is bringing together like-minded, mature adults who are comfortable being expressive... both in their sexuality and in their presence. It’s about naturalism, about removing the need to perform, and allowing people to simply exist as they are.

There’s an unspoken understanding here...you can be seen, you can be felt, and you can explore that without judgment. The space holds that for you.

JB:     But aren’t there already plenty of adult sims in SL. What is it that makes 'La Plage de Doodle' different from all the other Adult Sims out there?

BD:     La Plage is built on movement. It isn’t meant to be experienced standing still—it asks you to wander, to follow instinct, and to let one moment lead into the next.

It’s also built on presence. You’re not just observing the space... you become part of it. Being seen, being noticed, being felt… it all becomes part of the atmosphere. Exploration here isn’t just physical... it's personal.

JB:     I see in your Logo that there are three “realms”? What are these "Three Realms" all about?

BD:     The Three Realms are layers of experience... each one drawing you deeper into the island’s rhythm. They aren’t separate destinations, but shifts in energy that guide how you feel as you move through them.

For many, it begins with a kind of quiet curiosity… almost hesitant. Then it becomes exploration—lingering longer, noticing more, allowing yourself to engage. And eventually, something changes. There’s a confidence that settles in—a sense of ownership in how you exist within the space.

What starts as observing becomes participating… and then something more self-assured. That progression—from curiosity, to exploration, to a kind of quiet mastery... is something the island is designed to awaken without ever needing to say it out loud.

JB:     And how are guests treated at 'La Plage de Doodle'?

BD:     Guests are treated with respect, awareness, and care. Consent is at the center of everything, which allows people to relax into the experience rather than feel guarded within it.

There’s no pressure to perform or become something you’re not. Whether someone chooses to simply watch, softly connect, or step further into the experience, they’re supported in that choice.

JB:     With so much to do and see here, how do you suggest guests navigate this incredible build?

BD:     The best way to experience La Plage is to let it unfold slowly. There’s no right path... only what draws your attention.

For those who want guidance, MaryBeth...our in-world bot... helps orient guests and gently introduces them to what the island offers. We’re also rolling out our Concierge HUD, which allows guests to explore more intentionally or even call in one of our Cabana Crew members to assist them... whether for guidance, companionship, or something more personalized, both platonic and intimate.

JB:     Are there any social media connected with 'La Plage de Doodle'?

BD:     We’re still very new... about three months in...so our social presence is just beginning. Right now, we use platforms like Facebook, Flickr, and Primfeed through personal accounts while we focus on building and refining the experience itself.

Our main focus is on completing our HUD systems, especially the Concierge HUD, which we believe will be a game-changer for service in Second Life. As the island grows, our social presence will grow naturally with it.

JB:     Anything else you would like to say to our SL readers?

BD:     La Plage de Doodle is something that evolves with the people who step into it. It isn’t static...it responds, it deepens, it changes.

If you visit, don’t rush. Let yourself settle into it. Follow what draws your attention, stay where something holds you a little longer than expected, and allow yourself to experience it fully.

You may arrive simply curious…but you may leave understanding something about yourself you hadn’t quite put into words before.

-Thank you again, Josh, for taking the time to feature us. We’re really looking forward to seeing the finished article and sharing it with our community.

“THE PINK ROOM” : A MONIQUE’S GOSSIP STORY SERIES

Hey Lifey Babes, it’s your girl Monique, coming to you with the hottest gossip from the fast-paced world of Second Life.

I’ve got a story for you…but not just any story. This is straight from my personal vault and I’ve finally decided to share it.

What starts with love turns into a web of secrets, betrayal, obsession and twists that will leave you wondering until the very end. If I had to describe it in two words? A hot mess !!!

Warning: Mature Audiences Only.

Grab a drink and some popcorn…

THE CAST

Meet the Cast…

(This is a true story. Some names may have been changed to protect the identity of those involved.)

Ron

I knew him first. Ron was the owner of a Nightclub but upstairs, he had a Group Member’s Only BDSM Sex Lounge with a pool room and Sauna. He was German, nerdy, yet kind. His Avatar was a white guy with reading glasses and most of the time he was wearing a suit. Occasionally, he wore either a Sea Captain’s uniform, a police officer uniform or British Royal Prince’s Military uniform adorned in medals. I do not recall ever seeing him without being dressed up in some kind of professional uniform worn by an authority figure. Ron carried the image well because Ron was always a gentleman.

Joan

.

Joan, the cool girl next door type. She wasn’t extremely outgoing but witty, with a great sense of humour. She had one of those gentle caring voices that complimented her Mid-Western accent and sarcasm. Her avatar suited her personality. She was a tall, slender white blonde girl with glasses, blue jeans and pink bubble gum.

Emerie

Emerie had this very cute teen-style aesthetic. Her avatar was slender, had long platinum-blonde wavy hair, a pink tank top, light blue jeans, black combat boots, and big black angel wings. Think Ariana Grande’s body with an early-2000s Olsen twin face.

File Emerie away for later.

Tina

A mutual friend of our friend’s group.

A SL ROMANCE

Joan and I became friends through a mutual connection, and I eventually introduced her to Ron and his club.

I knew Ron pretty well and I could immediately tell Ron was totally crushing on Joan. They had chemistry and after a week and a half of flirting, Joan and Ron were officially dating in Second Life. The two of them became a classic SL couple clicking spankers, using piggy back ride poses and putting each other's names in their Profiles.

Life then threw a curveball: Joan announced she’d be gone for about a week. THE GIRL IN THE CORNER

Joan's absence made Ron appear online less it seemed. Regardless, I still visited the club just to see who was hanging out there. After a few visits, I noticed a new regular. A teen girl avatar quietly sitting in the corner of the club. Her name? Emerie.

Intrigued, I decided to chat with her… nothing strange, just small talk. I typed to her casually, complimenting her cat ears. I told her that she reminded me of Ariana Grande. We typed briefly about the movie Wicked and a few minutes later, I left. A perfectly normal interaction.

Next time I saw Ron was on, I visited him at the club. Emerie was sitting in the corner again. I asked Ron if he knew her.

“Emerie is my Second Life daughter,” Ron said proudly, “She’s AFK right now.”

I froze, “Huh, What? Are you sure?” I said apprehensively.

You may think it was an overreaction. People have SL family members all the time. But I had known Ron for several months and I never heard of or seen his daughter before. Not in casual conversation, not before or after him dating Joan, not ever

“Yeah, she’s my daughter,” Ron casually reassured me.

And then he hit me with: “Wanna see her room?”

Still a bit surprised, I laughed nervously and agreed, “Okay… sure…”

My curiosity piqued so I followed him.

Ron had a small house on his land and when he and Joan started dating, he let her decorate it. I was confused when Ron led me to the same elevator VIPs used to go to the BDSM and pool area and not the main house.

I stood at the golden elevator and Ron allowed me access to “The Pink Room.”

THE PINK ROOM

The walls were a baby pink shade. The bed had a vintage white iron frame and pale purple bedsheets covered in a rainbow pattern; the bed matched the tiny white vanity with a circular mirror. A pile of cute stuffed animals were sitting on the floor and next to it, a swing covered in flowers hanging from the ceiling. Something felt off, this room felt too childlike to be for a teenage girl.

“It’s nice. I’ve never seen this room before.” I told Ron politely.

“I don’t show many people this room.” Ron replied.

So naturally I asked, “Why not?”

“This is our special place,” he said.

My stomach dropped.

“You and Emerie?” I asked.

“Oh yah!” he said enthusiastically with his European accent.

I then click the bed to try it out and that is when I saw a Menu List of about 30 sex poses available.

I. was. shook!

My mind went into maximum overdrive.

The teen avatar.

The bedroom was hidden at the Sex Club.

The childlike decor.

Emerie was always at the club only while Joan was away.

What did Ron mean by “Our special place?”

Was Ron cheating on Emerie with his SL daughter?

Was she actually his daughter?

Who was using these sex poses?

Why is the Pink Room a secret place if there is nothing to hide?

Something was definitely going on...

THE RETURN OF JOAN

Joan eventually returned online, after about a week like she said she would.

Her and Ron were flirting and doing the classic Second Life couple banter like nothing had ever happened.

Emerie vanished and the corner stayed empty. Ron never mentioned Emerie to me and I never asked.

THE RETURN OF EMERIE

Time passed and I got invited to Tina's house.Thinking nothing of it, I accepted the teleport. As soon as I landed, Tina wasted no time spilling the hot tea.

“I wanted you to know something before I broke the news to Joan.” Tina blurted. “What is going on !?” I asked.

“I teleported to Ron’s place at like 3 a.m. “ she blurted out frantically.

“Okay, yes, and then?” I asked anxiously.

“He had a girl in his lap… they were making out!” she exclaimed.

“Whaaat?” I was astonished.

“Yeah, I teleported away as fast as I could before he could notice, I think.” she said.

My mind started to make the connections like CIA agents using a string and pin board to find a terrorist.

I then asked, “Was the girl a thin teen Avi, with black angel wings? Her name is Emerie, I think. That name was always unique so I remembered it!”

“What the fuck!?” Tina blurted.

“It was her…”

“How’d you know?” Tina asked.

The girl from the corner! I was internally high-fiving myself. I KNEW IT!

“I saw this teen avatar a few times in the past, Ron told me it was his daughter.” I explained.

Tina cackled sadistically, “Well he sure is making out pretty heavily for her to be his daughter.” she said.

Like fate was at work, Joan appeared online.

Joan’s avatar rezzed in Tina’s modern living room by the gold coffee table with fancy scented candles and fashion magazines. Tina informed Joan of the details.

I was then met with this weird moral dilemma. Should I break the news about The Pink Room? I felt guilty, on one hand Ron showed me the room in confidence. On the other hand, Joan was right in front of me, a great person and a victim of cheating. I felt stuck in the middle of both friends. Either way, someone would get hurt, so held on to the secret not knowing what to exactly do yet.

Joan just stood there, not saying a word. It was as if I could see the gears in her brain processing the information.

Ron appeared online.

“Speak of the devil.” Joan whispered calmly. But it was not the type of calm where everything was alright. It was the calm a girl had right before she was about to go off.

“Thanks for telling me, I am definitely going to confront him,” Joan said sharply. “So, we are going to the club then?” I asked.

“Yup, let's go.” Joan said.

The three of us teleported to Ron’s club.

And just like that, I knew: all hell was about to break loose!!! Cue dramatic music…

To be continued…

Stay Tuned for Part 2

Helena Navarita, Feb 2026 Winner of SL Enquirer Open Mic Competition

One of the really neat things I get to do as a writer here, is to interview some of the really phenomenal musicians who are making a real splash on the SL Music Scene.  Today I’m talking with Helena Navarita, winner of the February SL Enquirer Open Mike Singer – Songwriter competition.  Helena totally blew the judges away with her outstanding performance, and we wanted to let you, our loyal readers, learn more about this amazing musician

Josh (Thomas1.Bellic) (JB)     So Helena, Congratulations on your win.  It was well deserved.   Thank you for agreeing to chat with me.  To begin with, how long have you been performing your music, and at what sorts of venues?

Helena Navarita (HN)     Hello, Thank you.

I've been performing on second life for about 4 years, but I've been involved in creating music for most of my life. I've always focused more on songwriting and composing than being in front of an audience. When I came to second life to sing, not only was performing new, but so was singing the variety of styles. Before performing on sl I sang mostly adult contemporary and country. Now I sing at more jazz and blues venue's than I do country, although I do prefer a mix.

JB)     Who were your music idols, and those who most influenced your musical style?

HN)     Coming from an Italian family there was always music playing. I get my love for variety from listening to my older sister's music, as well as my parents. I loved the Mama's and the Papa's, Carol King, John Denver, and of course The Beatles. Grew up listening to Connie Francis, Mario Lanza, Elvis, Motown, we loved it all. We also lived close to The Circle Star Theater where I got to see live performances of many famous artists of the time.

JB     What was the inspiration for the songs you sang at the contest, and why did you choose those particular songs?

HN)     Very much like the grocery list that never leaves my purse, I honestly will set up a bit of a list and then very rarely even look at it during performance time. It usually comes down to that moment right before I turn on my stream... and look down at my folder of songs and land on one. The second song I did was one of my originals and I really felt it was time to get a response from people that didn't know me. When you perform in front of your own followers, you tend to rely on the positive responses.

JB)     How would you describe the brand that you now represent? To really stand out in the SL Music scene, you have to have something special about your performances. How do you define your music style?

HN)     I think what makes a lasting impression is more than the music but the connection you make with your audience. By paying attention to the room I can include them in my song choices and participate in the banter that happens between them. My goal with every performance is for people to leave my event feeling like they made  new friend.

Musically speaking, I also really put my energy into the song and allow myself to get lost in the music. When I'm lost in the music I take the listener on the journey with me and for just a moment we get to take a vacation together.

JB)     Are there any truly landmark performances you can recall?  Best Memories performing both in RL and in SL?

HN)     In my rl, most of my memorable moments came from being present when my songs were being performed by other artists on stage. My parents would come with me and share in that excitement. Having that time with them made every time memorable.

In SL every time I get on stage it's amazing and adding to my best memories. I never dreamed I would have a time in my life where I could share my passion for music with people from all over the world and never have to leave my house. I'm singing and writing better now than ever. Singing styles I never thought I could sing. What opportunities we have here in the amazing virtual world.

JB)     How did you take the news when they first announced your name as the winner?

HN)     I am shy... so it was fun but I was nervous at the same time. First time I've ever done anything like this, so it was very special to me. This is one of those more memorable moments!

JB)     Helena, there are lots of budding musicians in Second Life. What have you found it takes to be a successful musician these days?

HN)     Be honest, reliable, and yourself. Don't forget If  you're having fun, so are your listeners, so have fun.

JB)     You’ve been on the grid for over 17 years now.  What advice could you give to someone who wants to be a songwriter?

HN)     That is a short question with a book load of answers. Keep writing about things you know, things you feel, but to be commercial you need to write from a perspective everyone can relate to. Your specific emotional event can't be so personal that you alienate your listener.

Also... lists are a good way to catch the ear. Once, twice, three times a lady. Songwriters use these techniques all the time. Knock 3 times, One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready now go go go! lol

Learn the craft, apply your heart and soul. Know the rules of writing so you know which ones you can dismiss and replace with real emotion.

Writing songs and how long you've been on SL aren't really related to me. I was writing before SL was invented. To connect to SL audience with original songs means to write songs others can related to.

JB)     Do you have any social media sites that folks can visit to see more of you and your work?

HN)     I'm on YouTube

https://www.youtube.com/@dreamteemmusic1128

Facebook page under Helena Navarita

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086460817286

These links are in my sl profile.

On my channel are some of my original music compositions as well as children's stories. The music I use in the background of my stories is my own. These are not AI enhanced but me actually playing my piano. The AI that I use is always identified in my song descriptions and has only been included recently to help me with production.

JB)     Do you post your performance schedule for anyone who wants to catch one or more of your gigs?

HN)  I have a google calendar link in my profile.

https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=zjunebaby@gmail.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles

JB)     Is there anything else you would like to share with our SL Enquirer Readers?

HN)     I want to say a big thank to the entire live music community on SL. Without the club owners, and the amazing audience both my lives would be boring. Your time invested is not unseen or unappreciated. I hope I bring enough to the table to make it worth if for all of you.

So there you have it folks, Direst from the Singer herself.  Watch for Helena’s name on Marquees throughout the land, as you will definitely want to catch this amazing act. And when you go, tell ‘em Josh sent ya.  You’ll be glad you did.

Be there.  Aloha!

JB
