The GRAND FINALE

The final event, the grand fashion show, is not to be missed. 

Starring, the twelve finalists showcasing LUXE Paris fashion, featuring the themes of Parisian Nights and Parisian Icons. 

In short, a very haute couture show immediately followed by the unveiling of the grand prize winner and the runners-up.

As a reminder, the winner, the next LUXE Paris ambassador, will receive L$50,000 in cash, and the runners-up will receive L$10,000 each, in addition to a host of gifts offered by the sponsors.

LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR BRAVO to Danity, Jenny, Laycie, Lorez, Peki and Aoife!

The LOOK of the YEAR jury has chosen the ultimate group of semi-finalists for the 2025 edition. Congratulations to Danity Mynx, Jenny Starling, Laycie Pearl, Lorez Aichi, Peki Baxton, and Aoife!

These five women and one man make up the fourth and final selection of semi-finalists for the LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR competition. The die is now cast! We have 24 semi-finalists, from whom our jury will elect 12 finalists, again based on the submitted photos. 

As a reminder, LUXE Paris is looking for an ambassador, a woman or man of style who will represent the brand with elegance, originality, and charisma.

The Grand Finale 

The twelve elected finalists will have to participate in two challenges: the Judges' Brunch, during which they will have to give a short speech explaining why they would make good ambassadors, and the grand finale fashion show for which they will have to create a LUXE Paris look on one of the two imposed themes: Parisian Nights or Parisian Icons Reimagined.

The Judges' Brunch will be a private event, but the Grand Finale runway show on July 27 at 9 AM SLT will be open to the public. A teleport installed at the main store will transport you there.

JUST FOR MEN by Hyaecinte for LUXE Paris

Did you know that statistics in 2025 show that

59% of the SL population is male? And then let's

not forget how many gentlemen enjoy experiencing

SL through the eyes of a female avatar.

So many men... Yet if you look at the stores out there,

it's like SL is made up of 90% women. Female clothes.

Female shoes. Female accessories. There's so much.

But for men? You really need to search for good stuff.

I'm glad LUXE Paris has a men's section.

Because just like the ladies, I feel men get 'forced' into

a specific type of clothes. While women have their butt

hanging out of their skirts 3 out of 4 times, I have seen

way too many pants that offer the.'visible garden hose'.

Elegance. It's what LUXE Paris preaches.

For women AND for men!

 

As I was brainstorming, I stood next to our large men's wear wall in the store

looking at the many creations we made over the years. And then I noticed the titles.

 

Did you ever notice how original and unique our designers make the names of our clothes?

 

So while I am going to drown you all in as many fabulous male creations as I can, I am using the

LUXE Paris inspiration to inspire me on what to type!

 

A QUICK LESSON IN JAPANESE

 

 

The first ensemble I wanted to figure out is not only one of our newest

designs, but also has a very funny title. What IS 'Kakkoii’ ?!

The answer is simple. It’s Japanese for 'cool’ !

Also, it is used as the male version of the popular female term 'kawaii’.

Girls are cute (kawaii) and guys are handsome (kakkoii).

Dante met Beatrice Portinari only twice and could not stop thinking about her.

The year 2025 will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the prestigious LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR style competition!

Created for the pleasure of fashion and to promote the diversity of beauty, this competition has brought together and made thousands of women of all styles shine.

OPEN TO WOMEN & MEN

Yes! All women, and since last year all men, who have stylistic qualities and who know how to express elegance, the spearhead of LUXE Paris fashion, can participate! Last year, Wyatt Frost Reyes showed so much style that he won third place, ahead of seven beautiful women finalists.

Second place went to TwinkieBean for her stylish and striking look while the prestigious LOOK of the YEAR title was awarded to VanessaJane for her graceful and radiant elegance.

EVERYONE CAN WIN!

PROFESSIONALS OR AMATEURS!

Even if many top models participate each year in this competition, we have also seen beginners rise to the top ranks and even win. Indeed, the organization offers tailor-made training for all the finalists.

From the beginners, the judges will expect them to transform into professionals through hard work and passion while the team of mentors will provide them with all the necessary ammunitions. 

In the professionals, the judges will want to see progression, refinement, the achievement of new goals.

During this training and throughout the different stages of the competition, the mentors, also members of the jury, will also monitor the ambassadorial qualities of the participants. Because our LOOK of the YEAR will become the official ambassador of LUXE Paris for an entire year.

THE LIVE FINALE

The big twelve will also participate to a live fashion show on an imposed theme, during which the jury will make its final decision. Remember that LUXE Paris is looking for an ambassador, a woman or a man with style, panache and charisma.

TENTH OF THE DYNASTY LOOK OF THE YEAR

"My best advice to participants is to be genuinely authentically yourself", says VanessaJane, LOOK of the YEAR 2024-2025, when we ask her to share her experience.

"When I first participated in LOTY in 2022 I was too caught up in what I thought I was 

expected to be, how I was expected to style, and I strangled myself as a result!  

"But last year I competed for the fun and the opportunity to style, threw out any expectations and made a promise to myself that I would not lose 'me'! And I won!!!

"Mika and Paris, the founders and chief designers of LUXE Paris, want a genuine relationship with their ambassador so I have come to understand that it is vital to reveal the real you when you compete."
