Recently, Elvera performed across 52 Second Life© venues. The venues were full of activity while she graced the stage and now with the Challenge of Elvera’s now over, I can introduce you to her.
Elvera Lerner is not a stranger to the stage, having been singing and performing live since she was a small child. She is a natural soprano, but has a great range and voice which enables her to sing a mixture of songs that suit different venues and events across the grid. From romantic ballrooms, to night clubs, Elyera is flexible for a variety of genres.

She is unrivalled as the lady who brings real life theatre into SL and is famous for her incredible shows at The English Rose Theatre, The Rose Theatre and Opera House, Theatre on the Hill, Zentopia Theatre, Equinox Theatre, Duché de Coeur Opera House and many more.

She is currently touring as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and in her one-woman show "The Julie Andrews Experience" and in the New Year opens as Sandy in Grease for its 40th anniversary. She has rightly been called "the voice of SL" and lives up to the name in every way possible

Ringing in 2012. Is Peace a Possibility? The War is Over and a New Year Begins. How will you contribute? -Lanai Jarrico

No matter where we are in the world there are things we all must face. Challenges and Opportunities surround us all the time. Many speak of world peace, other just need peace of their own.

Whichever you want more is up to each person and it begins with each day. It is a chance to do some good, improve on your health and meet goals you set for yourself. Time is often a problem. It cannot be bought without sacrificing or procrastinating on the other important things in life. Prioritizing is the first step.

Whether we are part of the real or virtual world, we all have the ability to make changes that will contribute to the type of peace we all desire.

BREAKING NEWS! The Butter Crisis in Norway is no Joke

It has been a trying few years with natural disasters, war and domestic drama. Online folks have a lot to deal with too.  We all can use a big hug and a chance to recuperate from the past.

The recent butter shortage in Norway has become a full blown crisis according to SuperTommylife.  Apparently it is ruining the holidays and should be considered a problem that needs fast resolution.

Please take a moment to hear his plea and perhaps you can be in the giving spirit and send butter to Norway.

On behalf of the SL Enquirer and all those enjoying butter for the Holidays , we sincerely apologize and hope your issues is resolved swiftly.

Happy Holidays from Lanai Jarrico and The SL Enquirer

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the grid,
no noses were frozen because prim snow fluttered in,
no noobs in flannels were tucked into bed,
they all wore freebie pajamas instead.
To find wreaths of holly, t'was  very hard,
unrezzed holly trees grew in every parcel yard.
In front of the houses, avies  were working
adorning the bushes while stalkers were lurking.
The sleeping escorts were dreaming in glee,
hoping to find Johns under the tree.
They all knew that Santa was well on his way,
on a segway, instead of a sleigh.
And soon he arrived and started to work,
he hadn't a second to linger or shirk.
He whizzed up the highways and zoomed up the road,
all in an effort to delivering some loads.
The Second Life moon gave the city a glow,
and lighted the way for old Santa to find his Hos'.
As he jumped from the segway he gave a wee chuckle,
he was dressed in spandex with a tacky belt buckle,
There weren't any chimneys, but that caused no gloom,
for Santa came in through the  bedroom.
He stopped at each house....stayed only two minutes,
emptying his sack of stuff that was in it.
Before he departed, he treated himself
to a packed bong left upon the shelf.
high, hot and bothered, he turned as he  jerked and bounced out the door,
remembering he still had to visit some other hos.
He shifted the gears and stepped on the gas
and up the road he went like a flash.

I heard him exclaim as he went on his way,
"MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL, I WISH I COULD STAY!"
