For Immediate Release: 2023 Out Shop Cancer The 6th annual Out Shop Cancer event supporting Making Strides and the American Cancer Society is almost here. Out Shop Cancer is a main store and marketplace shopping event and a signature Strides Campaign in Second Life in support of the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and research. The 2023 Out Shop Cancer event includes main store and marketplace shopping, a grid-wide hunt, an Out Shop Cancer Pop-up Market, and a special Gala event. Along with the many shopping opportunities, there will be several special raffles during the month, including raffles for eBody Reborn bodies, Belleza bodies, LeLutka heads, skin packs and much more. In addition to the shopping, hunt and raffles, there will be an art walk and photo contest this year. The Easthaven Art Walk will also run Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 and feature the creative work of artists and photographers, with proceeds benefiting Strides. A photo contest with the theme, "Season of Hope" will be held at Easthaven and open to everyone to join in the fun! With more than 70 stores participating ranging from clothes to decor to breedables, there is something for everyone. Sandie Slate, founder of Out Shop Cancer, says “The response from designers this year has been tremendous and the amount of support for the event has exceeded expectations. With the inclusion of the Pop-Up Market and the Gala event, this year’s event is jam-packed with shopping and much more.” Slate continued: "By hosting events throughout the month, there's plenty to see and do -- all while helping to raise funds for a great cause." The Out Shop Cancer event runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31. Shoppers will be able to pick up a shopping hud inworld at the Out Shop Cancer office. A list of contributing merchants with a shopping directory and the official bloggers can be found on the Out Shop Cancer website at https://www.outshopcancersecondlife.com/. Information about the Hunt, Pop-Up Market and Gala event will be available on the website as well. All proceeds from this event go directly to the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and services. About Making Strides Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or MSABC is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 300 communities to finish the fight. Every breast cancer walk and event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to honor those who have battled breast cancer, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with research, information, services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.

SILK ROAD 2022 - HUNT & EVENT
Historical Hunts Ltd. presents the 12th Annual Silk Road Hunt & Event (4-26 June 2022). Our theme this year is "Crossroads: Japan." Therefore, when you arrive at the event, you will find yourself in a place much like Edo Period Japan!
The Hunt is grid-wide, which means hunters will hop store-to-store following landmarks inside each hunt item. The Event is in Mieville Shelley, at a brand new mega-build created for high visibility and smooth traffic flow.
There are tons of free gifts and top-quality merchandise available. Seventy merchants are participating, with a wide range of decor, clothing, jewelry, furniture, and full perm items for your shopping enjoyment. The list of merchants includes Sky Willow, Grendels, Fairey Angel Creations, Sanna - Science and Art, Texworks, Timeless Textures, Pixel Box, Kisetsu, ~Lantian/Flox~, Storybook Cats, Grasshopper St., and many more!
There is also great entertainment on-hand, including the very popular group: "Keeba's Tiny Maniacs!" In addition, we offer traditional dancers, an Asian violinist, wandering storytellers, live DJs, haiku and fishing contests, an art show, and four big, costume-themed parties.
Lastly, there is a game at the Silk Road Event called the "Clicky Kitsune Quest." Once visitors get the free HUD at the Arrival Area, they can wander and click randomly-appearing kitsune (foxes) for points. These Clicky Kitsune are spread throughout the event, so visitors are encouraged to explore. Points can be traded at any time for a wide range of gifts, available at participating merchants' Event booths. The entire system is FREE, and past, similar games have proven highly popular.

WHO WE ARE: Historical Hunts, Ltd. has been organizing coordinated grid-wide hunts and events for over 15 years. We appeal to a wide range of hunters and merchants, but especially to those with an interest in history and culture. We are sponsored by the Mieville community, which currently celebrates 13 sims and 150+ residents. Historical Hunts, Ltd. itself has nearly 3000 members at present.

(About the date: Because we open on the 33rd Anniversary of Tiananmen Square, we will hold a special ceremony to honor those who have been lost. There will be a candle-lighting ceremony at the Arrival Area on Friday 3 June, 5pm SLT. We will also keep a memorial candle burning throughout the month at the Shinto Shrine.)

Spookzilla is a region wide hunt with 146 participating stores. They have hidden prizes all over the region for 25L or less. The prizes are New Halloween / Spooky themed and they are difficult to find amongst the decor and landscaping. You can see their prizes & ghost texture at landing or our social media. Each store has a unique ghost and that is what you are looking for while hunting! This is hunt is NOT easy! No Grab n Go here! It WILL test your patience and make you lose your mind! It is meant to push all your buttons! Buahaha!! We hope to see you join us in our wicked games!

HALLOWEEN HUNT - GARDEN OF WHIMSY Now til November 1st
The wind whistles through the bare branches, scratching, scratching, rising the hair on the back of your neck. As you stand at the crossroads, the foul mist creeping over your toes and up your legs, eyes peer out of the gloom and you know you're being watched. Which way to go? Where can you find shelter on this night, the veil between worlds thin and nebulous?
What lurks in the swamp, is that a shack you see hiding behind the great mossy trees? Or should you try one of the abandoned houses in town... you can see bonfires through the trees to the East, the forest with the oddly glowing trees, is that the safe way to go? It means passing the burning church and traversing the graveyard.
Hideous cackling comes from that direction and you hesitate, turn towards the Carnival gates and shudder......
It's that time of year again! A full SIM of spooky, creepy, and cackling horrors await you! Grab your information notecard at the Whimsy landing point, once at the hunt location, get your hunt HUD, find all the bones and claim your custom Halloween decoration for your own spooky spot.

The Red keys Contain a free random gacha as a gift, that is only one so finders keeps and first come first serve on that. (red ones you must buy it for 0 Zero, linden and take it after, please remember to take the key after paying zero for it, that is important)
Silver Keys contain more gold as a bonus.
The Gold key contains a special surprise. (do consider what you would like to keep with that)
A limited-edition battle crystal is available as well in the hub, after October it will not be seen again. You can buy it with gold that is accumulated in the sim or lindens if don't wish to wait, the battle crystal is very worthy of its title and a very cute addition.
The tarot system is complete and ready to be used, when a level is made you get multipliers that enhance battle hits. If you need help with leveling please contact us.

Test your skills in the Spooky Escape cabin. You have 60 minutes to get out. can you? Take the teleport to our pumpkin patch in the center of town, Ride horses, take pictures, and pick out a pumpkin to carve! Touch the cabin door for your TP to the escape cabin, and the cave for our corn maze.

The 3rd Annual Winter Showcase & Winter Art Show returns in support of Team Diabetes of Second Life! This event, is the first fundraising event for Team Diabetes of Second Life and features two hunts, live performers, dj’s, an art show, shopping, and lots of winter fun!
