Best Beaches for Summer in Second Life- CeciliaRosalieReporting…

Summer is here! So what is missing?

Some nice places where you can get a tan and enjoy your summer, hang out with your friends and have some fun. I have highlighted the best virtual beaches  where you can enjoy a variety of summer activities from reading a book while sunbathing to surfing.
Let’s start with Baja Cove. If I was to describe this place with just one word, it would be fabulous.  This beach has a beautiful landscape with realistic sand and water colors. Free available towels for you to sunbath or enjoy a soft snack when you getting dry.  For those who are more active you can try taming the rolling waves on your surfboard.  If you are looking for a peaceful place to spend time with your friends or significant other Baja Cove also offers  nice beach houses rentals

Next Beach to check out is Busty's Beach Island – It is a British Tropical Paradise.  It is set on a huge sim you definitely have to visit. There are a lot of attractions for you to see. You can take a tour around using a boat to find one of the hundreds spots to recline alone or with your lover. Choose to cuddle around a campfire or swim in the calm sea or in one of their luxury swimming pools. For those who like exploring, there are some hidden spots for you out there to find while you horse-riding if you prefer.

Have you ever considered going on vocation to Hawaii? Well if not, now you can! ALOHA HAWAII - TROPICAL ISLAND PARADISE offers the most realistic and fulfilling experience, the lush landscape is covered with palm trees and crystal clear  blue waters that will make you feel like you really are swimming and feeling the water on your skin.
After you enjoy your sunbath under the golden velvet sun you can enjoy a dance to some authentic Hawaiian music while sipping a nice cocktail at the Tiki bar or just a quiet time swinging on a hammock. For those who are keen on water sports, there is also jet-skiing available among other things like playing games or riding some land vehicles.

Lastly on your beach tour is Clear Lake Family Campground, which is a very realistic camping experience that the whole family will enjoy. Activities include 7 Seas Fishing, an Outdoor Movie Theater, Volleyball, Canoes, Swimming, Hiking, and much More! This summer destination is a must for those who love nature.  It has everything you might need for some fun in the sun.

What remains is you! Put your swimsuits on, pack your beach bag with snacks and don’t forget your floaters… It is time to go!

Take a Trip to SL Jamaica; a Virtual Beauty to almost rival that of "true" Jamaica- Mikile Vinciolo Reporting…

I grew bored of my mundane Second life, living a virtual life in an average family community sim with a slowly diminishing population can cause an avie to want to break free.

I needed an immediate break from the ordinary, so I packed a bag, or two, or three, and I took to the nearest airport and SL Jamaica was on my travel itinerary.
I knew that this paradise had to exist somewhere on this virtual platform, and I had finally found it, or should I say, it had finally found me.

Postcard from Philadelphia: Back From My Vacation!- Lanai Jarrico Reporting…

I am finally back from a two week vacation from Second Life and finally all caught up with emails . I didn’t skip town or fly off to some other country or some fancy trip away,  I stayed in Pa and was host to family that flew in from the Caribbean and Hawaii.
With a houseful of 9, plus more family that came to visit the visitors, Numbers reached to a good 14 at times!  My days were jam packed with school, finals, food, late nights, food, outings, food, a zoo trip, food, bowling and more food! I was, to say the least, very busy!  With an extra few pounds added to my scale and a totally embarrassing bowling score…I am officially back in Second Life.

Before I share what transpired in the last couple weeks, I would like to give Lacy Muircastle a big shout out for stepping into my heels and handling SLE operations while I was gone. Thank you!  If you all didn’t notice anything different, my sneaking away for a couple weeks went unnoticed…perfect.

Lanai’s Diary: July 9-16th- Greetings from Walt Disney World, Orlando Florida

Wow, I feel like I haven’t picked up my virtual pen and babbled in my diary for a loooong time but, believe me you…I have been plenty busy in both worlds the past couple weeks.

For those that assume I am a virtual news junkie, it is true, writing is a great fix and it allows be to pour out my thoughts in virtual text but a vacation was much needed.

From July 9th-July 16th, I went on a much needed vacation with my family to Disney World in Orlando, Florida and maaaaan, was it a great adventure!

Lanai's Diary Entry- 8/16/2010- Back From Vacation & Ready to Roll- Lanai Jarrico Reporting...

Lanai’s Diary- Back from vacation and ready to roll.
It has been a week full of adventure and a well needed rest but this time it was a bit different. I didn’t get SLE Withdrawals. Instead I actually had a pretty decent vacation while the SLE family held it down.
I began my week with some day hiking in the Stix and lasted all but 2 days due to a boom bangin headache I got from not taking my Dramamine before the excursion.
While I was there at “Split Rock Resort” I didn’t get to throw horseshoes but I at least played some bingo while tearing up some extra sloppy chicken wings. I Even summed up enough courage to take part in a Literature & The Arts Trivia going on in the Pit Lounge after hiking up to the “Famous’ Split Rock. I wasn’t any good at Bingo as I watch little kids winning left and right. Let’s just say I didn’t win any ‘turtle bucks” from the trivia either but my adventures didn’t end there.
I spent a little bit of energy closed up in an all white racquetball room for a good 20 minutes until I was about to pass out. I should have filled out a guest request for padded walls and complimentary ben gay. I’d feel much better because waking up from a day of all that, my left shoulder, arm, back and my neck were killing me....
