As finalist Gabriela Seubert withdrew from the competition, LUXE Paris asked the semi-finalist with the subsequent highest score if she wanted to jump on the bandwagon, and our offer was enthusiastically accepted. 

Therefore KEIRA RHAPSODY is now in the running for the prestigious LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR title and the super prize of L$50,000 that accompanies it! 

Of course, a special team was immediately formed by the agency One On One, producer of the final LOOK of the YEAR, so that Keira could benefit from all the teachings and tools already received by the other finalists. 

We also asked Keira to prepare a text for the jury, explaining why she would be a good ambassador for LUXE Paris. The jury will receive this text by email within a few days.

LOOK of the YEAR The' MAKING OF' Episode 1- NOW ONLINE!

The race now enters the liveliest of action! Here are the 12 finalists who will compete for the prestigious LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR title and the super prize of L$50,000 cash that comes with it! Congratulations to Arion Vella, Gabriela Seubert, Hunipet Delicioso, JadePono, Lathilda, Lokia Float, Nikkilicious, Stormy Spires, Trinity Aironaut, VanessaJane66, Virginia775 and Wartooth!

These exceptional women of style were selected from 303 submissions by a jury of 14 renowned personalities from the worlds of media and fashion.

They will now have to showcase their talents in 3 inworld events. First there will be the Judges Brunch, where each of the finalists will have to present a short speech (typed in the public chat) explaining why they would be a good ambassador for LUXE Paris.


Two challenge shows will follow, where the finalists will be able to showcase their styling skills and presence on stage. For the first challenge, the 12 big ones will have to interpret one of the Decades of Fashion from 1950 to 2020 with fashion from LUXE Paris and jewelry from ZURI. The decades will be allocated by drawing lots.

For the second and last challenge, the finalists will have to represent one of the 12 biggest Fashion Capitals on the planet on the occasion of a charity ball organized by Rihanna, Cher, and Madonna.

It is the total of the scores awarded by the jury during these two challenges that will determine who will be the next LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR. The jury is looking for a stylish woman who will represent LUXE Paris with grace and charisma. The new LUXE Paris ambassador will be revealed immediately after the Fashion Capitals challenge.

LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR



The LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR jury has chosen the last group of semi-finalists. Congratulations to Hunipet Delicioso, JadePono, Kendall Palmer, Lathilda, Redsonjaa & Virginia775!

Registration is now closed and the jury will review all the photos of all the 30 semi-finalists to elect 12 finalists. 303 photos were submitted as part of this competition to find an ambassador for LUXE Paris, an elegant woman who will represent the brand with grace and charisma.


The 12 finalists will be revealed Friday July 1st. They will then be invited to participate to 3 events inworld so the judges can evaluate their skills and select the best one to represent LUXE Paris.

There will be the Judge's Brunch where the jury will meet the finalists in person for the first time and where the great 12 will have to present a short speech (typed in chat) explaining why they would be a good ambassador for LUXE Paris.

Two challenges-shows will follow. In the first one, Decades of Fashion 1950-2020, the finalists will have to interpret a decade with LUXE Paris fashion and ZURI jewellery. The decades will be assigned to the finalists by draw.

The theme of the second challenge is Fashion Capitals - A Global Ball. For this challenge, the finalists will have to imagine a look to represent one of the 12 Fashion Capitals of the planet, to attend a prestigious charity ball organised by Rihanna, Cher and Madonna! Here again, the capitals will be assigned to the finalists by draw.


It is the sum of the scores awarded by the jury during the two challenges that will determine the winner and the two super finalists. The second challenge will be immediately followed by the crowning of the new LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR.

LUXE Paris 2022 ambassador will win L$50,000 cash and numerous gifts offered by the sponsors. The two runners up will each win L$10,000 cash and also many gifts.

The Judge's Brunch is a private event but the challenge-shows are open to the public. The challenge Decades of Fashion will be held on Sunday July 31th at 9 AM SLT, and the challenge Fashion Capitals, followed by the crowning, on Sunday August 7th at 9 AM SLT.

LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR SIX NEW SEMI-FINALISTS: Anicia, Kitty, Nikki, Pandora, Scarlett & Wartooth!


The LOOK of the YEAR semi-final is entering its final round! The jury has just selected six new semi-finalists in their search for a new ambassador for LUXE Paris fashion house. Kudos to AniciaSaphira, Nightskitten, Nikkilicious, Pandora Mureaux, ScarlettDarkness81 and Wartooth!

These women of style are now eligible for the grand finale of the LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR competition. The jury will make a last selection of 6 semi-finalists next week, bringing the grand total to 30 semi-finalists.

The judges will then review all of the photos from all of the semi-finalists to choose 12 finalists. These will then be invited to take part in three inworld events which will determine which of them will be the new ambassador of LUXE Paris.

The new LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR will win L$50,000 in cash as well as many gifts offered by the sponsors. The two runners up will win L$10,000 each and several gifts too.

LUXE Paris shone on the catwalk of SL Fashion Week, the new super event from the legendary Frolic Mills. No, the famous virtual trendsetter has not lost its Midas touch!

With a team of ultra select designers, all presenting exclusive creations, seven mega
shows in a grandiose setting and about 400 visitors per day, the first edition of the SL
Fashion Week is a resounding success.

Cancer survivor, Frolic relaunched his virtual career last fall, after a long absence fighting for his real life. With his passion intact, he launched SL 20 magazine, a monthly publication listing the top 20 designers in a particular sector of the fashion industry. It is this group of exceptional designers who are making the first SL Fashion Week.


Ranked 4th among the top 20 formal wear brands, LUXE Paris is there and took advantage of the occasion to launch its new collection Tribute to Hermès, a tribute to the prestigious French fashion house, more than a century old.

Originally a manufacturer of harnesses and luxury saddles, Hermès made a name in the world of fashion with the creation of its famous silk scarves in 1938, 100 years after its foundation. Today, a Hermès square is sold every 30 minutes, somewhere in the world.


Valsnia, LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR, was walking the show. Her reign is almost finished and she is now promoting the 8th edition of the LOOK of the YEAR contest, that will elect the next LUXE Paris ambassador (  

Also starring on the runway, the new LUXE Paris Geometric collection, inspired by the work of American designer Marc Jacobs, as well as the famous LUXE Paris BREWIN collection, cut from the works of Canadian painter Dave Brewin.

SL Fashion Week continues through Saturday April 23 with a collective super show at 10 am slt Saturday. A must for fashion lovers!

Travel around the world virtual- SL Itinerary for Explorers: BEST MEN's CLOTHING STORES- moonite1687 Reporting…

When you look up the word shopping, in more words or less, articles in one form or another describe the only shoppers on the planet as women. There is a disregard for the male shopper, probably because statistics found that women shop more, according to Optinmonster. Female shoppers make up 72% of the shopping market, while male shoppers bring up the rear at 68%. While this gap is not significant, it does show that men shop less than women, but the keyword is that they do shop. According to Zoovu, men may shop less because their reasoning behind the habit is different from women; Men shop for the item's functionality while women are purported to shop for the thrill of the hunt and the joy shopping brings. While this statistical data may be valid or invalid, I believe there is a shift in the male thinking regarding the habit of shopping. And, to cater to the more fashion-forward male that enjoys leisurely shopping for the thrill, here are a few locations on the SL grid that caters to a discerning male fashion palette. 

I took to the pavement, coming across the MENS DEPT event in-world, spotting Semller, a store I knew from a past iteration. Semller is a Secondlife store well known for its trendy footwear located in-world and on the marketplace. Semller provides trendy, high-quality footwear, from boots to sneakers and clothing, to the fashionable male avatar that enjoys quality. While they do not cater to just male shoppers, they provide footwear the male shopper likes. In fact, on my visit to the store in-world, there were twice as many male shoppers as there were female shoppers. The only downside is that the creator of the brand has only made it available for legacy male and female; eBody; Belleza male and female; Gianni;  and unrigged/resizable, with the latter option in the list being available for those whose mesh form the shoe does not have a size for.

In a group chat a day or two ago, a question about which store was best for male fashion was posted, and one name thrown around a bit was Cold Ash, so I decided to explore the store to see why it had come highly recommended. I dropped in and could immediately see that the store's content is high quality with fantastic attention to detail. For the most part, they cater to the most popular male mesh forms, I presume, and they have a decent selection of clothing for every occasion. The store was pretty much a ghost town when I dropped in; however, if I were a male avatar, I would often drop into Cold Ash to add to my clothing collection.

Nothing in this world, or the real world, is sexier than the skin you are in. Valsnia refers to a report recounting her victory in the competition, the final of which coincided with her marriage in real life! 

Valsnia was about to walk for the grand finale when her real-life friends showed up at her house to surprise her and celebrate the end of her celibacy. 

‘’After a moment of panic, I  regained my composure and had everyone sit around my screen while explaining what was happening’’ relates Valsnia.


You got style? Try your luck and show it to us! It is really easy to participate and everyone who sends their photo will receive a LUXE Paris outfit as a gift upon receipt of their first submission! 

Do not hesitate! Trust your fashion flair! Put on a LUXE Paris outfit, add your charming style, capture a photo, put your official name in the title and send it with FULL PERMISSIONS to the avatar LUXEParisLOOKoftheYEAR inworld.

You can submit as many as 5 photos every week, but each picture must present a different LUXE Paris outfit. Each of the photos submitted will be evaluated by the jury as if it was a new candidate. So the sooner you start participating, the more likely you are to be selected for the semi-finals.

Each week for five weeks, starting May 30th, we will be posting photos of 6 semi-finalists on our website at and in The SL Enquirer. The semi-finalist's pictures will also be published in SL Confidencial magazine inworld. In addition, we will be exhibiting the photos of all the participants in the Hall of Candidates at our main store in Bao/67/72/26.

When we have 30 semi-finalists, our jury will then proceed to the selection of 12 finalists.


The twelve big ones, selected from the photos, will be revealed on July 4th and invited to the Judges' Brunch on July 17th. It is at this event that the finalists will each
receive a L$ 3000 LUXE Paris gift card (approximately 10 outfits) and L$ 1500 worth of Zuri jewelry! This will allow them to create their looks for the 2 challenges/shows at almost no cost. 

LUXE Paris and its prestigious partners are proud to present an inclusive competition where everything is done so that EVERYONE can flourish.


It is also at the Brunch that the jury will meet the finalists for the first time in person. The twelve greats will be called upon to play their role as ambassadors of LUXE Paris.

Why would they be good ambassadors? What are their assets to play such a role? Each of the finalists will be invited to type a short speech in the public chat to make themselves better known to the judges and will also have to answer questions from the jury.

For this event, the finalists will have to dress in LUXE Paris, as they would if they 
were LOOK of the YEAR and invited to represent the brand at a brunch with fashion VIPs. No marks will be awarded for this event but the presentations of the finalists will allow the judges to get an idea of their personality, which will certainly influence the scores during rounds 2 and 3 of the final.


Two challenge shows will effectively follow the Judges' Brunch. The theme of the first challenge will be ''Decades of Fashion 1950-2020'' as the second challenge will highlight the twelve most important fashion capitals of the planet. For each challenge, the 12 finalists will have to present a LUXE Paris outfit with ZURI Jewelry. 

It is the cumulative scores awarded by the judges during these two challenges that will determine who will be LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR 2022-2023 and the two runners-up.

A team of 15 judges from the worlds of fashion, media and entertainment will determine who will be the next LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR. This imposing and prestigious jury ensures a wide diversity of opinions and a transparent and fair process.

Over L$100,000 in prizes 

In addition to the L$50,000 in cash, the new LUXE Paris LOOK of the YEAR will win:

8th Annual Lupus Awareness Fashion Showcase and Fair Coming Soon Presented by Sigma Upsilon Nu Sorority, Inc and The Red Door Models


Lupus Awareness Fashion Showcase and Fair is an annual event hosted by the sorors of Sigma Upsilon Nu, SL Sorority, and The Red Door Models.  During the month of May, our mission is to educate and raise awareness and funds for both Lupus Awareness of America and the Lupus Awareness of the UK.

As we did in our inaugural year in 2010, we begin May 1st with our annual Lupus Walk that opens our Lupus Fair that will last the full month of May. The fair is composed of various events and interactive activities all happening on the Blue Orchid District Sim

Prior to the events, we encourage designers, vendors, and businesses to sponsor the event in various ways.  Designers can participate in our fashion, vendors are encouraged to become a part of our shopping village, and sponsors are asked to donate by purchasing one of 4 sponsorship packages.
