Playmates Magazine Presents a Photo Contest! Judged on talent, not friends votes. The theme is "Surprise!" May 6th- May 27th

 $1000L - 1st Prize,  $500L - 2nd Prize and $250L - 3rd Prize.  Contest begins Friday, May 6th at noon and runs until May 27th at noon.

The Photo Contest is open to everyone except Playmates Staff and Models (who will be the judges).  We are not looking for the sexiest photo, or the best looking avatar in a photo.  We are looking for imaginative theme concepts and talented photography.  Photo's must be shot in Second Life.  Photo editing is permitted.

Lastat Productions is Proud to Announce it's 6th Annual Halloween Party! October 30th 6-10pm SLT

If you haven't been to one before, you're in for a real treat! Every year for Halloween we host a huge event with live mix DJs, costume contests, hunts and more! We build a custom set with haunted buildings, an eerie forest, a scary pumpkin patch and plenty of ghosts too!

This year we'll have two costume contests with over $10,000L in cash prizes!

 We also have a hunt for Dead Fred's bones where everyone has the chance to walk away with over $2,500L in prizes from Lastat Productions. As an added bonus, all prices will be slashed to 50% during the event!

Spring Hunts Happening in Second Life- Tea Couturier Reporting...

Yes spring has sprung and there are so many hunts around especially for Easter.

Many SL residents enjoy hunting for treasure. It can be lots of fun.  So where do you find the hunts?

You can find them If you click on the search tab in Second Life and check for  groups. In the group search, type in hunts and a list will appear. Join these groups and they will send you notices on times and days hunts will start for you to enjoy.

If you are a business and would like to participate in hunts, theses groups will also provide hunt rules once you have been approved and what type of gifts you will have to create.

 If you wish to just simply take part in a hunt in a non-business way here are a few hunts which are taking place this April.

    It truly was an event I will remember for years to come. Scorpinosis Nightfire delivered a touching speech and hosted the party,  the talented Jazz and Blues musician Jackie Lefko performed some greats from Billie Holiday and Etta James, and the Paramount Playhouse team who put together a fabulous venue and samples of  burlesque performances.  I’d also like to give a big shout out to fellow media personnel that came out to celebrate with me. My virtual sisters Lacy Muircastle, Head of advertising and writer at SLE and Persia Bravin, alumni of SLE and currently with BOSL,  my advisor, damage control and dearest friend Prince Sonoda, SLE writer Mackenzie Abott, Bill Kaye from SL Business Review, Krissy Sinclair the newly appointed VP of Press Pass Media, VMS Magazine’s new owner Stacy Mosely and SL Newser’s Bixyl Shuftan! The glitter of rhinestones and sequins, the thrills of the flying trapeze! Roll up! Roll up and grab your ticket. Come to the Circus, the greatest show on Earth.
 

This Sunday the Circus comes to town. Come join in the fun and grab your best Circus outfit as the sl Enquirer hosts a night under the big top.  Ringmaster Kennef Riggles provides the music in what promises to be a show stopping night to remember. Take a turn at Being shot from a canon, see the sword swallower in action, the popcorn machines and candy floss..can you dance on the flying trapeze and take a turn on the high wire. Do you dare to stroke the circus Tigers?  The thrills and spills of the circus all await you.
