The Best Place’s to shop in Second Life.. SLE Writer Review- DreamOfEssence Reporting...

Blueberry Store is always coming out with some thing new and exciting as you can keep up with her on Facebook. Blueberry does a lot of things from top’s to bottoms to night cloths to dress just about every thing.

If you were to want her  exclusive clothing then the best bet is to buy the fat pack that has every thing in it with the exclusive things others may not be able to buy at that moment. If you get the exclusive clothing then there thing’s in that pack others would love to have but can not get at the moment as I have said but it will look good on you to show off to your others friends.

EQUAL Store is always doing new things and alsoexclusive things that you will have to keep up on the event’s going on every month as some of it is very exclusive and can only be bought at event and then is never sold again on second life. With that being said then that will also make you exclusive as no one else will be able to buy it in second life in less they were at the event at the time it was being sold. We all know how hard it is to get in to an event also.

EQUAL doing things at the event is exciting as we all get to see the new things that she maybe coming out with if they are not exclusive and will be sold again at her store. From shopping with her I get to see all the new things and how realistic looking on some of her things. I say 100% of the things is a must have but we all love to shop.

Azuchi Is a upcoming store and is coming out with some really cool looking things and also has Role playing clothing for both new and old Body in Second life and has some new things at there shop.

Azuchi is also doing things at event’s and is doing thing’s that are exclusive also so if you do not make it there to the event then you will miss out on some of the really good things they have out that will not be in the store for sale and not be sold again.

The store has up to dates in the events that they will be doing and having things at. If you go to shop at there store right on the right hand side is the places to get the groups to keep up on there event’s and that month and date that they will be happening.

Review of the Premium Member SL12B Tiki Party- Lanai Jarrico Reporting…

12 Years ago Second Life launched in all its blazing glory and became home to virtual world enthusiasts from around the globe who were excited to explore a brand new world. It was bliss, pure addiction from the start as the pioneers brought new ideas and creativity to the grid. Members spend countless hours and lots of money building our environment and making it a better place for everyone.
As time passed more businesses and venues popped up and the community was booming with activity. Three years into it, the Lindens seemed to retreat and spend less time supporting the community and our efforts.  People took notice and morale started to decline. Squabbling, griefing, break ups and make ups became a regular occurrence that only added to the grid troubles.
There have been many changes through the years as I reflect back on my experience as an SL journalist. I’ve spent years documenting and observing the activities and people of Second Life. It saddens me to see such a great virtual world of potential be treated with such carelessness and disregard by the “Gods” who created it and their devout followers.
A decade is a long time to invest with the continued hope that all of the wonderful things Second Life has to offer only gets better with time, but I must admit I felt very disappointed by the display of community involvement handed to SL members at yesterday’s Premium Member 1SL12B Tiki Party.

I would think with the investment of every premium member’s time and money, the Lindens would have provided the community with something to marvel at while showcasing what Second Life is really capable of. It was nothing short of throwing us a shriveled up cold hotdog on a flimsy paper plate with no bun! That is how cold this party was served to us. The atmosphere was similar to a Noob landing point with no real agenda or organized plan.

Upon landing on a bridge, it took forever to rezz and if I was lucky enough to move, I went straight for the bushes.  I could see scores of avatars standing around not really knowing what direction to go in. Some could be heard complaining about lag, others wondering why they were unable to get their free premium gift of a dinosaur avatar from the kiosk. After gaining my wits I was able to observe some of the crowd congregating around a sprinkle of Lindens who did nothing more than banter in local chat about irrelevant topics and small talk.

After absorbing this unorganized event I expressed my opinion in open chat about my disappointment and how I expecting more out of the Lindens.  Only one other person was bold enough to agree while everyone else just stared like deer in a headlight.

I shrugged and I teleported back to the SL Enquirer Media Center to reflect on what I had witnessed and felt compelled to go back and give it another shot. Maybe it really wasn’t what it seemed and fireworks or something was about to happen while a parade of lindens would present themselves and give everyone in attendance a great show well deserved.
I went back to the party and found myself surrounded by the same sea of confused avatars just standing around and planting kisses on the asses of the few Lindens who were there. I thought to myself, is this really all they could do for us?

Across the bridge I could see dinosaurs basking in the sand, one of which was Michael Linden. The next question that came to mind was, what do dinosaurs have to do with any of this and how does it fit the theme? I guess I should just be grateful for the bone they did throw at us and maybe it will all make sense later.

My final thought is this…

I love Second Life and still see its potential but my patience for improvement is fading. I hope to witness something spectacular at the SL12B Birthday Party; an event that shows the community they are truly appreciated and not just avatars that LL counts on who continue to work hard to breathe life into this virtual world.

I feel like the Lindens have let us down and abandoned us in many ways.  I don’t want to see them show their pixel faces because they feel they have to rather than want to. What are your thoughts on how the Lindens Gods show us their appreciation? Use the comment box below and express what you want to see. Maybe LL will step it up.

Review: A Look At One Shell Shocked Company For Shell Shocked Sims – Margie Zeplin Reporting…

When one first hears the term Second Life Military Community, or SLMC, they may think of an in world Second Life group that revolves around real life military veterans. This is where the name might be misleading for some. Although there are real life military veterans within the SLMC, the community itself has nothing to do with real military affairs. In actuality, it's far more civilian and gamer friendly.

Exploring Virtual Worlds- Pandora Drezelan Reporting...

Pandora's IMVU Avatar

Second Life has been such a huge part of my real life for just over three years now, when I first signed up in December 2009 I thought that it was the only virtual world, until I started exploring outside of the grid.

Pandora in Second Life

Second Life

For me Second Life is not only my first virtual world it is my second world and I have learnt so much in the time that I have been here. I’ve made many friends, lost people I thought were friends and discovered more about the real life me than I ever knew existed, my Second Life avatar and the real life me are very similar and also a little bit different as well.

Extending an Emerald Hand Beyond the Virtual World- Davvek Suun Ki Reporting...

We see movies about superheroes and wish the world had these costumed champions.  We look for good amongst all the challenges in real life.  Now, in a time when uncertainty seems to run so rampant; it’s good to know people are still at their best.  Just like that, a call for help is answered.  The popular sim Second Life continues to be a popular medium for virtual interaction.  Once again, The Green Lantern Core of Second Life (SL) has set their sights on another charity project.  This time their specific focus is for Community Outreach Programs.
“The Green Lantern Core (GLC) was started in 2004 as a simple Green Lantern fan group and has since evolved into a multi-national public service organization. They are a tightly-knit group of like-minded residents who volunteer time assisting others and helping to make the Second Life experience a positive one for all.”

DiversionZDance "Circus Diabolique" at Danse Macabre - LEA26 Performance Review- The SL Enquirer and the full house gives it two thumbs up!- Lanai jarrico Reporting…

On February 22nd. I received an event notification that read,

"Ladies and gentlemen allow me to direct your attention to the center stage where you will bear witness to terrifying sights that will haunt you to the day you die....behold the Circus Diabolique and let the nightmare begin”.

That was enough to make me dig through my messy inventory and pull out my best clown costume and get ready for the show.

As I continued to read, “Be drawn into the world of the dark circus in this second dance piece by artist Fae varriale and her dance company DiversionzDance, which was created as a vehicle for marrying her love of contemporary dance with a love of creating immersive artwork, Choreography, environment design and costume concept by Fae Varriale”.

By that time, my curiosity was peaked, I went, watched and came away with this to say…

For Second Life, 2012 had it's triumphs, stumbles, and events that could be considered something of both. From the SL9B, to Premium perks, to Linden Lab policy changes, to "Pathfinding" and "Patterns," there were a number of impacts big and small, for better and for worse.

MUSIC NEWS: Album Review - Ellie Goulding; Halcyon - Pippa Emmons Rexen Reporting...

RECOMMENDED LISTENING - Great music and fantastic lyrics. Ellie Goulding fans will be ecstatic! Anyone who appreciates good music should give this album a listen; it’s quite exceptional.

This is a long awaited return from Ellie Goulding; with soaring vocals, rich ambient music, almost ethereal at times but with quirky moments and frequent pulsing beats. A must buy for Ellie fans and anyone who enjoys a semi-chilled alternative sound. It almost fits within the electronic dance genre at times and there are a bunch of remixes lurking around too.
Ellie said she chose the title because, "Halcyon is like a bird that basically during the winter, it would lay its eggs by the sea and bring calm to the stormy waters and a lot of my songs on this record are about the ocean and water...".

Entertainment Review- THUMBS DOWN- What is Up with the Strip Clubs Lately?!? I’m going to have to find a new Hobby. ~Lanai Jarrico Reporting…

Staff Reporter
• Monday, August 23, 2010
Hitting the Strip club with a pack of wild girls used to be one of my favorite past times in Second Life. The guys were hot, sexy and emoted like no one’s business.

With my workload keeping me pretty busy, it has been a while since I showed some love to the guys who work the pole for some lindens.

It seems like all the good ones are long gone and the clubs are hiring temp workers or something. <

I won’t mention the name of one of the clubs I decided to step into, and for good reason.
I was totally unimpressed by these guy’s skills. Its one thing to be able to slide up and down a pole looking all sexy, but dam anybody can grab up a pole and give it a whirl. All I know is, these greased up boy toys need to step it up in the emote department.
