Spotlight on Maximillian Merlin; Challenge Creative and Entrepreneurial minds. -Bimala Tagore Reporting

Gone are the days when the artist was integral and versatile such as Leonardo Da Vinci or Vincent Van Gogh. The new times impose their value systems, and several times the artist is prevented from exercises their freedom and will. However, those limits have not stopped Maximillian Merlin. He is a beautiful bouquet of creative qualities: poet, inventor, digital artist, scripter, builder, mentor, also is promoter of cultural and artistic events. He excels in each project.

Maximillian Merlin transcends all limited forms as builder of imaginary 3d virtual worlds. He started “Buildwerk group”. It is a collection of trustworthy and very creative designers in Second Life acting together on a common vision: providing the best service to customers.

He also writes impressive codes, giving a breathe of life and motion into all types of objects. Similarly he founded “CYXXUS Creators Network”. The role of CYXXYS is supporting innovative and new technology projects which are warmly received in virtual worlds.

Thanks to the digital age we live in, the line between real poets and robot poets is becoming progressively difficult to separate. Max also developed an artistic robot called Quasimodo. He writes three poems and one painting per day without losing his inspiration along the way.

New technologies are having a revolutionary and fundamental impact in the world. What is most precious today is how Max’s work is adapted to new times efficiently.

Become part of Maximillian Merlin´s world. He is a real wizard possessing an overwhelming personal power.
I am sure this interview is going to pleasantly surprise you.

Bimala: Can you tell SLE about you? What brought you to Second Life and your experiences such as becoming a scripter?

Maximillian Merlin: In 2007 I read an article about SL in a German “Spiegel” magazine. I could not believe that people would pay real money for a pair of digital shoes and wanted to see that. On my first day in SL I met a woman who was riding a very nice animated horse. As I had already worked with other 3D software like Poser at that time, I could really imagine how much work someone had to put into this horse to make it work. And so I could also understand immediately why people would pay for such beautiful work.

From this moment on I was fascinated by the creative possibilities of this virtual world.
I remember that still on my first day I downloaded clothing templates from somewhere and created a shirt. Then I discovered that I had to pay for the upload. Luckily at that time there were a lot of camping chairs und Linden trees where you could get some money. While I was picking money from such a tree, I met a very nice person who gave me 100 Linden Dollar after a long chat about creativity and art. Unfortunately we forgot to add each others to our friendlists, so I never met him again. But I had the money for 10 Uploads now and started to make the first shirts for my avatar.
After hanging out in my favorite Sandbox Mauve for a while, I discovered that LSL scripting is a powerful tool to bring your creations to live. So I started to look out for other scripters. If I got stuck with a script that did not work, I asked them to explain my mistakes, so i could learn. I also learned by writing scripts for friends. That is how I became a scripter.

What amazing experience…With respect to explore virtual building.  What is the biggest challenge building Sims in SL?

Maximillian Merlin: Developing a completely new Sim in SL is always a like dancing on a rope. Usually you have a fixed budget to pay the builders and scripters and a customer who wants you create a whole universe.  First thing is to get a reliable team that can stand the critique of a person who is responsible to make the project fit into the financial and technical limitations. Unfortunately some people in digital worlds tend to be pretty unreliable. That is why I founded the Buildwerk group (www.buildwerk.com). It is a group of reliable creators. We often collaborate on creating new things. I met the most of them in RL already and some became also good RL friends. My job in this projects is usually to create a conception together with the customer. Then find way to realize it together with the creation team.  This is what I call “dance on the rope” part: If you have ever tried to tell a designer that his 2500 prim house is nice but he has to get rid of at least 800 prims to lower the land impact, then you can imagine how it feels to manage such a thing. If want the good designers and scripters you have to deal with highly creative people, that gain their creativity by not following strict rules. My philosophy is: Form follows function. Depending on the purpose of the Sims and in permanent close communication with the customer during the creation process, we finally create the things the customer needs within the given limitations.

Bimala: Your team and you do a great job…What do you like the most about what you do?

Maximillian Merlin: In SL I love the wide variety of people from different cultures and countries. I also found the most SL Residents are very open minded people. The most fun part is that your age, your skin color, or your nationality does not matter. My eldest SL friend just celebrated her 80th birthday. I would probably not have met her in RL. Someone I met said: “In SL you meet the people from inside to outside. You see their soul before you see the body. In RL it’s the other way round.” People in virtual world often reveal some hidden parts of their personality and their desires. It is exciting for me to help on projects that are the visualizations of my customer’s dreams. Often these “customers” turn into friends later. Last not least I met a lot of people from SL in real life and some of them became close friends.

Bimala: You are the founder of “CYXXUS Creators Network” Established in 2007, how has your organization evolved all this time?

The CYXXUS Network was founded by some artist friends and me in 2002 in Germany. The SL group was founded in 2007. The name was created for an RL art Installation named “Inside Alien Lab” It was an Art Labyrinth created by several artists involving sounds, interactive computer installations, and some other really creepy installations. The name CYXXUS is an artificial word. it’s made from the words Cyber and Plexus. A plexus (from the Latin for "braid") is a branching network of vessels or nerves. In SL CYXXUS is mostly used to share information about SL events and other interesting projects. Beside CYXXUS I am moderating the Orange22 group and my own store group with around 500 members.

Bimala Tagore: You are the spirit behind your artistic bot. Can your bot be as creative as human artists?

Maximillian Merlin:  That depends how we define creativity. If we define creativity as “artistic productivity” (the amount out artistic output) and the “newishness” (no one did it before that way), bots can be way more productive. They can handle a larger amount of data in shorter time than humans. A simple example: “In his collected writings, Shakespeare used 31,534 different words.  Using statistical techniques, it's possible to estimate how many words he knew but didn't use. This means that in addition the 31,534 words that Shakespeare knew and used, there were approximately 35,000 words that he knew but didn't use. Thus, we can estimate that Shakespeare knew approximately 66,534 words.
According to one estimate, the average speaker of English knows between 10,000-20,000 words.” (Source : http://kottke.org/10/04/how-many-words-did-shakespeare-know)

My bot Quasimodo knows more than 100,000 English words in his rhyme engine. This does not make him a better poet than Shakespeare but indeed he can find more and sometimes really surprising rhymes. He uses the BBC newsfeed to find words to rhyme on and blogs 2 to 3 poems of vogon poetry and a newly created picture per day. I know personally some musicians in the Hiphop business who love Quasimodos attitude to words: They have no meanings for him, so he uses them phonetically like a child.
But finally I think, the day when bots will replace lawyers will come before the day when bots replace poets and painters.

Bimala Tagore: “Like father, like son”. Good legacy. On the other hand, what comes to mind when you hear the word “magic” and what role does magic play in your buildings?
Maximillian Merlin:  I started to perform magic tricks when I was 12. My RL work is as a magic entertainer for over 25 years. Please understand that I prefer my digital work separated from my RL work and I will not provide links to my website. In my buildings I love to surprise people with some “magic” functions. I think the fact that scripting makes your creations alive has a lot in common with magic. Indeed programming in general has a lot in common with what people understand as “magic”: Someone is writing words (code) that normal people do not understand to make something “magically” happen. As Arthur C. Clarke stated in the third law of "Clarke's Three Laws": Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”

Bimala Tagore: Giving your formal opinion. For those who may want to learn more about mesh, what are the advantages and disadvantages of mesh versus prims?

Maximillian Merlin:  Let’s leave the wonderful rigged (wearable) meshes out because I do not create them. But I can tell you that one of the biggest advantages of meshes can be a lower Land impact if they are used intelligently. If you just want to replace your prims by mesh, you should always consider that the displaying of Meshes depends on the viewer’s LOD factor and the number of vertices in the mesh used for Low display. If you raise the LOD the Land impact raises too. I have some very nice builds in my inventory that I cannot use, because they “break way” too much when look you at them from a long distance. I love to create “sim” with several viewpoints that allow nice photos. They simply spoil the “view”. Another advantage of mesh is, that they can be really “sculpted” in a software like Blender. I like to use mesh for low Land impact in world displays that show information’s or pictures in stores or at community places. It’s also nice to use them for details inside buildings that are mostly sighted from a short distance. For this purpose I can recommend the in world tools like Mesh studio from The Black Box and (for in world sculpting also) and all the tools from Naonao Watanabe.

Bimala Tagore: Besides building what other things do you do to keep busy in SL?

Maximillian Merlin:  I am still administrating one of our creations from 2009: The Orange22 Sim and manage the event planning and access options there. I also support several NGOs in SL as a scripting and security advisor. When I am bored I work on my AI Quasimodo Merlin. He is the “bot” that writes poetry and stories.

Bimala: You are so versatile. Do you have an eye for talent or an ear for music?

Maximillian Merlin:  I hope that I have an eye for talent. Whenever I meet a creative person, I connect. The Buildwerk group grew exactly this way. We are collecting talented people and synergize. I love music of nearly all kinds. I listen to everything from techno over jazz to opera or classical music.  At the moment my favorite singer is the Julia Lezhneva (google her). I love her voice. I do hear a wrong tone when others play it, but somehow I have no talent to make music. When I was child I had a private guitar teacher for 6 years. It did not help. :-( When my RL partner and me moved together many years ago, we found her old flute in one of the cartons. I tried to play it. My cat nearly scratched himself through the front door to get out. I bought a nice second hand keyboard. My RL partner does not allow me to play it any more on speakers. I have to wear an earphones...

Bimala:    How do you balance everything you do?
Maximillian Merlin:  I eat when I am hungry. I sleep when I am tired. I listen to my friends. I meditate.

Bimala: You are an experienced SL resident. Do you have any advice to new members looking to be productive in Second life?

Maximillian Merlin:  For really new people I would recommend to start off at NEW RESIDENT ISLAND with one of their awesome volunteer mentors. (Link: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lawst%20Paradise/135/26/22) They help newbies to learn how the viewer works and prevent them from wasting money for scams.  Before you open up a “whatever” business, I would strongly recommend to explore SL, meet intelligent people that are already doing something like want to do. Join groups that meet your interests. Do not be shy to leave them again if they are dorming or too spammy. Stay away from any kind of drama. Just do not get involved. Do not go for just the money, go for your interests. If you are good at what you do, create a little project. Finish it! Pack it. Before you sell it, give it to some experienced friends. Let them test it. Ask them for an honest critique. Listen to their words. If you are not out to create freebies, let them also check the permissions they have got on this items. Be nice! Help other new residents.

Bimala: You give good advice. With the New Year beginning, what new things would you like to do and what can your fans expect from you?

Maximillian Merlin:  We are preparing a gamelike sim, opening later this year. We also still work on the Actor in a box project (www.faq.actorinabox.com). It is a real time animation and camera system for Machinima creators.

Bimala: Good news…Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?

Maximillian Merlin:  Yes, it’s a quote: “There exists only the present instant... a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence.” Meister Eckhart (1260 – 1327)

Thank you for giving us this interview. It has been really interesting and stimulating.

3P: Power, Pleasure and Passion- A Peek Inside Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism and Masochism- Silky Soulstar Reporting…

That’s BDSM for short, and a fertile ground for unsavory types to take advantage of sweet innocents.

All judging and secret thoughts of kinky danger aside, for many people BDSM is just an edgy concept that excites them to explore physical or emotional limits. How edgy, depends on how much you want to push.  As a submissive, do you trust your Dominant to take you safely on a path that won’t scar you -- but instead will be borderline-euphoric?

We know BDSM to be a lifestyle of choice for so many SL residents because they think we can pursue the passions that come with that experience more conveniently, or safely.

Perhaps.

How much safer can we pursue a BDSM lifestyle in SL than in RL?

“In SL you can poof, but in real life you cannot,” explains Master Jae Avedon of Power Pleasure Passion.  “And there are also laws on physical pain in reality, that don’t necessarily apply in SL. There is a lot of mental pain in SL. We tend to deal with that.”

Pleasure Power Passion (abbreviated P3) is a sim group that does the subject of BDSM justice, lending a cerebral air of credibility to an often misunderstood space.  The SL Enquirer had a chance to interview key members of the group on the subject of role playing safety. And while somehow making all of his P3 constituents more than comfortable, Master Jae controlled the interview as you would expect a true Dominant could.

In Second Life, just as in reality, there’s more to BDSM than just one role player’s liking to order other role players around.  And there is more to Dominant/submissive relationships than transfer of pain, or risk.

TRUST

“A Dominant knows a submissive will never use her safe word,” says Mrs. Zam Tibbits also of P3.

Alternatively, “give a submissive trust and they break it, they break it.  The relationship falls pretty quickly,” adds Master Jae Avedon.

On the subject of pursuing that trust, safely, the members of P3 know how to address various perils head-on.

“We kind of deal mostly with the Dominant / submissive relationship. D/s light,” says Master Jae.  After some thorough matchmaking, “Submissives go off with their Dominant, and the Dominant sets the relationship. Trust gets applied over time. The Dominant evaluates how well his submissive reacts to stimuli along the way. That’s one way we go.”

The other way is more provocative. In the sim’s most risqué offering, submissive and sim owner Tricia Velde brokers the auction of other submissives to their prospective Dominants.  “The female has total control of when she is sold to a male.  Everything goes through Tricia.  All communication and meetings are brokered through Tricia,” explains Master Jae while elaborating on the element of safety involved.

Carosell, P3 event coordinator, respects how the group deals with predators in particular.  Master Jae expanded on that point for her by taking a sanity check beyond the confines of SL’s metaverse;  “Predators in SL are phishing. We call them Financial Dominants. Look, we don’t know who these people (in RL) are.”

It’s that kind of rationalization across SL and RL that makes P3 work so well to address the topic of safety, and ultimately makes the group so successful with its members.

P3 asks people looking to enter into relationships to go through a variety of interview stages.  Members answer questions and provide ratings for their limits on various subjects on a scale of 0 - 5, and are then matched by a matchmaking process.

So the sim offers a variety of paring processes and opportunities to make certain relationships get courted safely.

Other elements of the P3 group include a library with original theses on the subject of BDSM roleplay.  There are also classes and social groups for submissives and Dominants. Subtle details factoring safety abound within the group activities; including permitting submissives to attend Dominants workshops so that they learn more about Dominants in their relationships -- but also not allowing Dominants to join workshops for submissives so that submissives can be protected in an environment that encourages them to openly learn and participate.  That being said, “submissives are encouraged to not be rooks and rollover,” adds Mrs. Tibbits.

The group at Pleasure Power Passion likes to think by actively teaching points on loyalty, joy, communication, trust, honesty, respect, and forgiveness that they approach the topic of BDSM with a fair bit of safety. All the sim processes, information, chat sessions, and classes the group hosts are ways to get everyone involved in this space safely. If you are at all curious to pursue the topic further, and safely, attend one of their group sessions or read up on the subject in the P3 library found via the link below.

Spotlight on David Csiszer : Vocalist and multi Instrumentalist Artist - Tea Couturier Reporting...

In Second Life when we want to listen to some good music we go to clubs but when we want to listen to some live music we all have our favorite performers we follow around the grid.
This is how many feel about Davis Csiszer formally known as Charles Coleman. David not only shares his talent with the Second Life live music lovers but  he also connects with his fans.  This is probably what makes him one of the top performers in SL . I had the pleasure of being able to sit down with David between gigs and find out a bit more about him and his life in SL.

Tea: How did you begin working as a performing in SL? Also what music genre do you perform?

David: I began in 2006, I taught building in SL and a friend in SL found out I played guitar and tried getting me to do an open mic. At that time I really wasn’t a singer so I had to learn 3 songs I could sing and play at the same time. After that they wanted me to play a show. In a couple of weeks I was able to at least play a 30 minute show. I kept building up and building up. I am not sure how many songs I do now lol.
As far as genre, I feel like I took a big pot and pour many genres in it. I play anything from Zepplin to Imagine Dragons and many flavors of covers and originals. Sometimes I will break off into little Spanish, Jazz, and classical pieces and so on.…

Tea. SL has changed threw out the years and I am sure this has also been reflected in the music business. Do you think this has been for the best?

David: I think the majority of the changes over the years i.e. eliminating dwell, payment of mentors and teachers, categorization of adult, mature, and general and all was necessary for Linden Labs even though not beneficial to SL businesses. To keep their business going they had to cut cost and secure their liability. The SL economy as a whole definitely effects the music in SL but it has decline and made rebounds several times. The bottom line: SL is still here and so is the music in it.

TeaWhat brought you to SL?

David: In 2005 I was looking at the back of a cereal box. I saw the cereal company had a virtual world for kids. It was a very primitive 2d one but it made me wonder what was out there. I started searching and found SL. It was a mind blowing experience the first month seeing no limitations on what can be done in SL.

Tea. Who is your inspiration in the music industry?

David: Masaru Nagano, Steve Hall, and other musician friends have been the building blocks of learning about music, philosophy of music and life, and going to the heart of music and inspiration.

Tea.  You have lots of Fans and supporters in Second Life. I am sure that helps spur any performer on. How has this made you strive with your talent in Second Life?

David: All the way from encouraging me to do the open mic to encouraging me to keep going I have really fed off of other people. I would hear recordings of me singing and hate my voice. Similar to when we hear ourselves on the answering machine and hate the sound of our own voices.  But people in SL reacted positively. People kept telling me how good I sounded. As much as I didn’t believe that, those comments kept me going and kept me growing. I would have quit a long time ago if it wasn’t for everyone in SL encouraging me.

Tea. What do you like to do in SL when you’re not performing?

David: Back in the day I used to have a lot of fun. Taking friends high up in my flying Mustang car and jumping out parachuting to the ground. Hot air balloon rides, Transylvania wall and just many things I found in SL.  Recent days I have been balancing a lot in my RL so haven’t gone to the depth of activities I used to. Though you might find me wandering around a Star Wars sim in a Boba Fett avie sometimes lol

Tea. What can we expect from you in Second Life?
David: More music!, I always progress. I get comments on how much I have grown musically in SL I am always learning new things, trying new ways, new tools, songs, and instruments.

The Innovative Prey Fashion Show Coverage. Sunny Love Holiday Reporting

The Second Life fashion scene is filled with some the most creative and talented people on the grid.
I have always had a deep passion for fashion so you can image my excitement when presented with the opportunity to cover some of the most talked about fashion shows this year. What better way to start my fashion show coverage for 2015 then to attend the innovative PREY Fashion Show presented by Amazing Impressions Modeling (AIM).

On January 31, 2015 at 12:55pm slt, I took my seat in front of a grand runway located on the AIM sim. As the seats around me filled quickly, I eagerly awaited for the show to start.  Soon after, Barney Helendale, the host for the evening, took the stage and colorfully started to introduce the work of the extremely talented PREY designer Adriel Huntress. One by one the stylish models walked the runway with some of the most inspiring creations I have ever seen in second life. Models Africanrithm, Lua Vendetta, Gretel Bulloch, LEEZAHKADDOUR2, LUCIA BRUNE, and Layka graced the stage looking stunning sashaying across the runway while DJ Doxy Roller was spinning tunes that truly fit the work of art I was witnessing.

Boniefacio did a wonderful job producing and directing the most organized and efficient Fashion Show I have ever been too. I have included some pictures of my favorite pieces from the show, but I highly recommend anyone who loves fashion as much as I do to pay a visit to the Prey store front located at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Bloodmoon/179/131/26 to have a look see for yourself of all the work from the show and other great pieces. Believe me, your fashion senses will tingle in delight!

Linda Lauren on Crystals and Gemstones

Learn about the Crystals and Gemstones we surround ourselves with by watching Psychic Medium Linda Lauren on the BetterTV show and reading her article 'Crystal Awareness'!

Crystal Awareness

Have you ever held a quartz crystal in your hand? Ever feel the wondrous delight of its gentle hum to your palm or feel its soothing vibration sear through your fingers, up your arm and tingle throughout your body? If you have not, then you are in for a treat that will tenderly awaken your senses and gently amplify your mind, for the energy one experiences by working with quartz crystals is soul-enriching and life-enhancing.

Quartz crystals are God’s gift to the earth, and a rare treasure to those who embrace their light. A crystal connection will alter your vision and ease you into a greater understanding of your Self. Crystals are found in watches, clocks, televisions, DVR’s, and computers, just to name a few of their applications. Quartz consists of raw piezoelectric energy, and when shaven down to microchip size produces electricity that operates these necessities in our lives. Imagine then, the personal power we can claim when we harness that energy and allow the gentle electrical vibrations of crystals and gemstones to balance and work with the flow of our own unique energy.

CHOOSING A CRYSTAL:
Quartz crystal points, clusters and polished stones can be found in most metaphysical shops. I would like to focus on Quartz Crystal Points, as these will be best to use for the purpose of making it your personal tool of power and transformation. A crystal point is a single column of clear quartz with 3 to 7 sides around the face, with a termination at the end. It is usually clear at the top half, and milky white at the blunt end. The following methods are acceptable, but remember, you do not choose your crystal, it actually chooses you!

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. When you open them, allow your eyes to fall on the first crystal you see.

TOUCH:
This is my favorite. A crystal will “call” to you, and when you pick it up you will feel a gentle vibration in your palm. It may take a few minutes to adjust. I suggest you take a deep breath, relax and allow the crystal to “speak” to you by focusing your attention on any vibration or warmth in the palm of your hand. Size does not matter when choosing a crystal point, as sometimes even the smallest chip may have more energy than a large point.

Once you have chosen your crystal, it is important that you keep it in a pouch of some kind. Silk, cotton, leather, are fabrics most commonly used. This will protect the point from any jarring or chipping, as you will be carrying it with you most of the time.

CLEANSING METHODS:
When you get home with your crystal, it is vital that you cleanse it. During the journey from the crystal mine to the place of your purchase, your crystal will have gone through many hands and been in many places. You will want to clear it of the residue from its journey to insure clarity. There are several schools of thoughts regarding this subject, and I will pass along a few methods commonly used. However, keep in mind that there is no right or wrong method to cleansing. When working with quartz, it is what sense you have regarding the stone that is important. Intuition plays an important role in developing crystal awareness.

Sea Salt or Salt Water — If you happen to be fortunate to live by the ocean, fill a cup with sea water and immerse your crystal in it for 24 hours, or until you sense it is cleansed. The alternative would be to fill a cup with a couple of spoons of sea salt and immerse the stone. (Note: Some people are not fans of this method, as they feel it alters the vibration of the stone.)

Rinse your crystal under cool tap water and dry with a cotton cloth.

Sage or Incense — Burn some dried sage or your favorite essential oil incense and run the crystal through the smoke.

CHARGING YOUR CRYSTAL:
Once you have cleansed your crystal, it is now time to charge your crystal’s energy. Here are some methods for charging:

The Sun — A crystal truly loves sun. This is my favorite method because it can be done anywhere. Simply put your crystal on a window sill, car dashboard, etc., and allow it to be nourished by the suns rays. The average amount of time is anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours. Again, you be the judge by listening to your intuition.

Some people place the crystal point into the soil of a healthy plant for a few days. Not only does it charge the stone, but it helps the plant, too.

After a dip in the ocean, allow the stone to sit in the sand with the sun beating down on it for a super-charge. (Just be careful you don’t bury the stone and lose it!)

I have a large cluster of clear quartz in my office. I lay my personal crystal points on top of the cluster to insure a charge.

Now we have covered the basics: choosing, cleansing, and charging a crystal. In order to work with your crystal you will have to program it. Imagine your clear quartz crystal as a blank tape. You can “record” your desires, needs and wishes into it. A crystal can hold as many “programs” as you need to instill. Some programs will become temporary, until your desire is met or your accomplishment is achieved. The way to program a crystal is to do the following:

Hold the crystal between your hands in prayer-like position with the point up. Clear your mind. Now visualize yourself actually in the situation of your desire. “See” yourself clearly. Then state an affirmation. For example: If you have the desire for a specific job, picture yourself as already in the job, happy and content. Then state something like: “I am working at the perfect job.” The affirmation insures the thought into the program. If you wish, you can also “tell”; the crystal verbally what you want in your life. The key is to “see it” and then “say it.” That’s it. You are now ready for the last and most important step: Meditation.

MEDITATION
The primary way to work with your crystal to manifest what you have programmed into it is via meditation. When you wish to “receive” the benefits of your program, you would hold the crystal in your left hand. For example, if you are sick and wish it to help heal you, use the left hand. Put the crystal in your right hand when you want to “send” your program out into the universe, where action will take place.

Take your crystal with you to a quiet place, or a favorite room, and light a candle. Relax a few moments with your crystal. Look at it. Get to know it. Every crystal is different. Yours might have wisps inside, or sparkly inclusions of color. Examine it quietly while taking some deep breaths. Close your eyes and allow the crystal to pulsate in your palm. Concentrate on the vision of your desire and allow whatever images to come to you…or to leave you. Do this every day for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Not only will you notice a difference in what is manifesting in your life, but you will feel happier and your spirit will be lighter.

It takes about 30 days to bond with a crystal. Keep it under your pillow every night, shower with it, bathe with it, carry it in its pouch and take it with you where ever you go. It will soon become your pocket best friend.
