FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Copacabana Country Campground Haunted Cave
Are you ready to discover the secret of Copacabana Country? Legend says the campground was built on a Native American place of power. Centuries ago there was a battle between the living and the dead with the Copacabana tribe and their shaman successfully locking the demons and skinwalkers away in a mystical cave. The spell cast to keep the evil contained would last for 500 years. That was in 1518, 500 years ago.
Now the veil is lifting and the entities are trying to return to the Earthly plane. Only the mystical stone left by the shaman of the Copacabana tribe can stop them. SCARE ME SILLY EVENT
The 3rd Annual Scare Me Silly event returns in support of Team Diabetes of Second Life! This event, is the first fundraising event for Team Diabetes of Second Life and features two hunts, live performers, dj’s, an art show, shopping, and lots of tricks and treats!
Team Diabetes of Second Life is an official and authorized team of The American Diabetes Association. The mission of Team Diabetes of Second Life is to raise awareness, tolerance, and funds for diabetes in the virtual world of Second Life. According to the World Health Organization (2016): 422 million adults in the world have diabetes and 1.5 million deaths are directly attributed to diabetes each year.

Frankenstein Event
On Sunday, October 21st at 2pm slt, Fantasy Faire Radio and Seanchai Library will present Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, specially adapted for radio and live performance in six voices, in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the novel's original publication. The two-hour performance will take place live at this year's iteration of "Haunted Holly Kai" high above the Blake Sea based Art Park, and will benefit Relay for Life.

BREAKING NEWS! IT’S HALLOWEEN! Tights is the trending new costume for men in Second Life… Lanai Jarrico Reporting…
Is that Peter Pan…. a pirate?…. perhaps a drag queen?…. No
wait! It’s just a man in tights!
Have no fear Second Life residents, male ballerinas are not
swan dancing across the grid to demasculinize an entire community this
Halloween. So, let’s not jump to any conclusions. Most
tight pants wearing men are happily married or involved with the
opposite sex. Today is no different.
They fear not a feminine twist to their ensembles because
they give zero fux what others think of them, especially on Halloween. But they
ought to worry about the severe chafing, heat rashes, in particular in the grundle
area, and other SL health problems
associated with fabrics that are to tight or abrasive.
This is news worth
reporting in a dying virtual community of minimalists who waddle the grid in
search of freebies, sugar daddies, drama or meaningless sloppy sex in an
unmeshed body. This year, they are
getting rid of the superhero capes and going to the extreme.
The whole idea of
tights is a way for men to show off their junk without really whipping it out
and getting banned from the more uptight venues on the grid. Whatever the
reason for the sudden Halloween trend, men across the grid are practicing
tighism with pride and partying like nobody’s business.
The SL Enquirer was on the scene at one Halloween party when
one mesh avie split his spray painted on jeggins whilst attempting a black flip
split at the “Rock that Bod” Dance off Spectacular. He won the grand prize of
50 lindens and a gift certificate to a local clothing store.
Another man
complained of circulation issues surrounding his twig and berries while doing
the electric slide while another brave
man did the running man to display his extra flexible pleather physics
addition.
One party goer who wished to remain anonymous suggested it
was a form of effective male birth
control before getting backhanded by his visibly pregnant girlfriend.
Another comment came from the restroom area. The voice
sounded very similar to Mickey Mouse struggling to pulls his tights back up
from a potty break.
At the exit a man was seen being escorted out of the club by
three bouncers because he displayed a grotesquely lopsided cameltoe.
Rumor has it he was concealing a rubber chicken in his pants
and threatening to cock slap the bartender.
The night quickly came to an end when a fist fight broke out
between three females dressed like washed up Pussycat dolls who had a
disagreement about the assortment of patterns being displayed by the men in
tights.
Things are really heating up for Halloween and getting out
of control.
Keep a close watch and you will see just how extremely sexy
or obscenely horrific the men in tights look at your Halloween part as they
strut on by in all their glory.
Be sure to drop to your knees and praise them either way.
Let them know the SL Enquirer fully supports the movement or lack thereof. We
know it is an acquired taste but we believe in short time, they will hang up
the tights for business suits and redeem themselves of the “WTF was I thinking”
moment they had in Second Life for Halloween.

It’s Halloween time in Second Life – Camury Reporting...
Halloween is coming, look for all sorts of tricks and treats in all the dark corner and haunted places of Second Life. As soon as October arrives, ghosts, witches, bats, and other creatures of the darkness will be among us, to entertain or to scare us in this new season.
Take a tour on Second Life and visit many haunted houses, Halloween themed events, and many other spooky places are waiting for you.

Halloweentown
Do you want a sim full of fun and jump scares? Visit Halloweentown. The little village is full of Halloween decor, gifts and gachas. Enjoying a carriage ride and cross the river to explore a scary graveyard. Take a tour of the haunted mansion but be aware of the monsters lurking in the shadows among the trees.
Spook-tacular Halloween Town
Welcome to the spookiest Halloween trail in SL. Have fun in the haunted boat ride and if you make it to the end, manage to survive in the cave and be careful to don’t get lost in the corn maze. There are traps and fun stuff along the trail and, if you made out alive, don’t forget to visit the haunted house!
The House That Fear Built
Think twice before stepping through the door of this haunted house even though you’re going to do it anyway. You need to find out what lays beyond the door if you dare! Be aware of the secret passages that may take you to macabre places that you can explore if you’re not weak at heart. WARNING: This is not your grandmas’ haunted house. If you’re looking for pumpkins and candy, then this is not the place to find it.
ShenaniganS Haunted House
Join in the fun with yet another themed plot created by Blublaize and his partner Purr. Come and explore the haunted house or dance in the deserted cemetery - is it deserted though. Have fun with ghosts and ghouls that are ready and waiting to celebrate another Halloween with you. Open through November 5.
Skeleton House - Halloween Store
Join the zombies and skeletons who enjoy moonlit nights at the Skeleton House. Be careful while you walk around the old haunted house and visit the cemetery if you dare! “Dear Halloween” Romero de la Luna reporting
Dear Halloween,
I think I need to break up with
you. The reasons are complicated, and it
may seem cliché, but please believe me. It’s not you…it is most definitely
me. Bear with me and I will try to
explain…
I think I am under the influence
of some sort of gypsy curse, which has undermined the magic of our secret yearly rendezvous
in the woods. In recent memory, our
illicit meetings have turned from hot role-playing shenanigans into a funhouse
mirror of distorted and disappointed expectations. The long and short of it is this: In my recent adult costuming life, no matter
how I try to dress up, I always end up looking like a slutty pirate. Don’t
believe me? Here’s an example of me
attempting to dress up as Harry Potter in 2011.
Imagine my preparations each
year. Everything looks like it is going well; this time a green face, excellent
latex scarring…glued bolts to the neck and then eventually… I just can’t help
it, I’m compelled to break into the rouge and it’s all “Yarrr..hello sailarrrr!”
from there on.
I know that my giving up on our
time together will either disappoint or even enrage my Celtic ancestors, from
where they celebrated some of your earliest festivals. Harvest time has come
and gone. It is the time when people say
farewell to the earth’s fertility and welcome the approach of Persephone’s cold
desolation. The darker portion of the world begins to emerge. It is said that the membrane between this
world and the Underworld begins to thin, becoming more of an opaque curtain.
It is the time of year that, for
ages, the Aossi… faeries and spirits-
are most active throughout the world. And from our earliest celebrations until
now, we have left offerings of food and drink to appease them so they will move
on. But if they were not appeased, they
would grow unruly and create all sorts of chaos, much like the little snot
gobblers of today; those little monsters hopped up on Kit Kats and Blow Pops,
chanting their unholy ruminations echoing throughout neighborhoods across the
world, “Trick or Treat, smell my feet,
give me something good to eat-“ Yeeaasshh. It’s a damn freak show out
there!
I am truly worried that my recent
misanthropy toward our holiday will indeed insult the spirits of my Celtic
ancestors. After all, do you remember how they used to fight their enemies? They would paint themselves up, strip naked
and then stimulate themselves to full erection (true story) before stampeding
down the hill toward their foes. Don’t mess with the Celts, am I right? How about THAT for a Halloween costume? Nah, never
mind. That’s been overdone by pixel newbs on nearly every seedy sim on the
grid. You might get banned from your
favorite places.
Granted, even though a herd of
screaming hairy men with hard-ons charging down a mossy hillock would seem
intimidating to most- (unless of course you’re like Helen of Troy, then you’re
probably all clasping your hands to your chest and squealing, “For me? All for
me!?” Not judging btw, after all I am Slutty McBlackbeard)-ultimately, these
stampeding nudists bounced off the wall of Roman shields, got speared in the
junk and died soon after. So there’s that. Now that I think about it, maybe I
don’t have much to worry about regarding my ancestors.
But I digress.
As of Sunday our Hunter’s Moon will
have disappeared. Today is the dawn of the new moon: the Beaver Moon… or also
called the Frosty Moon. All I have to say is keep that frigid beaver away from
me, knowwha’msayin’?
You can probably tell, Halloween,
that I still love you, I’m just upset that I’m not keeping up my end of the
bargain. Maybe we should be ‘non-exclusive’
for awhile, instead of breaking up altogether. We should try new things; new people. Maybe I will date a make-up artist and she
will help me deal with my rouge addiction. Maybe I can actually be Harry Potter
next year. Some will think that costume to be tragically outdated for
2016. All I can say is at least it won’t
be Harley Quinn. “Omigawd, I’m like soooo original?”
So where do we go from here?
Well, here are some places we can
start…The folks at Elysium (especially the owner Syn Beresford) always knows
how to party. And one of my favorite burlesque badasses, ElizaRose Gloom, spins
some always killer tunes at The Rabbit Hole (though space is super cozy there,
so go early and be cool to the regulars.(They had their
official bash on the 28th) Who
knows? Maybe soon we will be able to
snatch back some of that pumpkin spice in our relationship again, my Halloweenhella-hottie.
Just no Celtic Warrior costumes,
okay? Promise me. I REALLY like those places and I don’t want to get banned
from them.
