Our wonderful community is now complete and offers a number of outstanding features. At Posh, you can enjoy the beaches we have a couple to stroll along or layout with a friend on a floaty. We also have a fantastic Grotto the is the perfect place to play with that special person. Posh now has a complete apartment complex that is gated with a cafe and coffee shop for chatting and playing games. We have also expanded the Posh on the Beach concert club with a larger stage and dance area for our weekly concerts and DJ events. We have a Harbor glass stage for large concerts and events! You will love the feeling of watching one of the top SL tribute and live bands here at Posh! We have a number of upscale homes that are for rent and provide a spectacular view of the Posh beaches and wooded equestrian trails that lead to the Posh Estates public pool area and photograph locations. Rock Doghouse is an award-winning lifelong musician and songwriter performing since the age of 6, 51 years playing with a who's a who of rock and country in RL and has been performing in SL now since 2009, over 12 years when he stumbled in and lost his car keys. He has shared stages with some of music’s greatest artists in real and virtual worlds. He is a-rockin' country boy who is classically trained, a Berklee College of Music alum, Road Warrior and gold record sound engineer with symphonic, rock, country, alternative and D.I.Y. and other bands from piano to guitar to bass, even trumpet, to singing amazing songs with passion humor and love for the music he has penned, This is someone you will want to see and hear again and again. Catch him doing solo shows, duets, and multi-streams across second life! He starts spinning at 10:00 PM SLT. SLE: Hi Posh Barby, where are you from and how did you discover Second Life?

SLE: Fashion is a very popular industry in Second Life.  What type of fashion do you like to showcase and wear personally? If you could describe your style, what would it be?

SLE: What inspired you to get involved with fashion and create Posh events for the empowerment of women?

Po$h Barby: I always have a business mind. I started the Posh Mall and wanted to do something amazing.  And then I did a Posh Event. I always want to stay busy, very business-minded, not so much about money for me but just something I love to do while I am here.

SLE: Can you tell our readers about Posh Mall, the monthly Event, and what type of fashion and products you showcase?

Po$h Barby: Posh Mall is an amazing mall. It's my baby. I love it so much. I have dedicated so much time to it carrying a  wide variety of fashion  Posh mall as something for everyone in sl not to mention each store has free gift.. It's just an amazingly beautiful space you can hang out shop  listen too much and just  make it a fun place to be 

SLE: Do you currently have space in your mall for rent? If so, what type of items are you looking for?

SLE: Hi Jorden, you are definitely busy on the grid with The Terrace Luxury Rentals and One Park Tower Hotel. How do you manage all of it?

Jorden: Our staff is available 24/7. We pride ourselves on our friendly professional service in a timely manner. Inquiries are answered immediately or within a few hours. Skyboxes and hotel rooms are maintained daily. It is important that when a new tenant rents a furnished skybox or hotel room it looks exactly as intended - no missing furniture or decor, running water, unmade beds, etc. 

SLE: Great attention to the detail you put into these fabulous locations. Thank you for taking me on a tour of your skyboxes, I’m impressed. They truly are luxurious. Can you share with our readers the various properties The Terrace has to offer?

Jorden: Thank you, SLE. Our furnished (adult) and unfurnished skyboxes range from studios to two bedrooms. Many of our sky homes have the option to change the view from city to country. They are custom-designed with creations from well-known SL fashion stores. With over 22 different styles we strive to provide our Second Life Tenants with affordable high-end ultimate luxury.

SLE: Privacy is a big concern to tenants. How do you ensure guests will get their private time without worrying about their neighbors trying to listen or peek in?

Jorden: All of our skyboxes as well as our hotel rooms are built on individual parcels providing total avatar privacy and Security Orbs are of course included in each unit.

SLE: Now that we got security covered, can you tell our readers what they should expect when they come to The Terrace Management?

Jorden: You will be greeted by Hayden. Hayden is a bot so please if you have any questions, IM or send a notecard to Jorden Andrew. There are Photos and Information Notecards about each skybox we have to offer. The easels have an “Availability List'' which is updated each morning. Teleport from the list to the skybox which interests you.  

SLE: That seems simple enough! How do you set The Terrace Luxury Rentals above any of the other rental properties across Second Life? Is there something you offer that many do not?

Jorden: Two main reasons why many tenants prefer The Terrace Management Skyboxes. One and most important is total avatar privacy as mentioned before as our units are built on individual parcels where other companies build their skyboxes on one parcel above each other. Second, our skybox homes are decorated with high-end adult furnishings and decor.

SLE: Most rental management companies in SL have a set of rules guests and renters have to follow. Are there any restrictions at The Terrace?

Jorden: Our units are built on individual parcels which means that tenants have full parcel rights. The only restriction is no breedable animals; however, we do allow pets or prim babies within reason. We do ask that when a tenant is not home they make sure the pet or baby is set at minimal movement. Also, because units are spaced far apart on separate parcels there is very little lag. 

SLE: That is some great advice to minimize any potential lag caused by pets and babies that can accumulate. Can you tell our readers the pricing structure you have for Terrace Luxury and exactly what do they get for their payment?

Jorden: Our skyboxes rent from $475Ls to $1,600Ls,  depending on the amount of prims and parcel size.

Located on Topanga, Kiss Me Hard Club and Beach Lounge is a venue that is gaining popularity amongst beach goers looking for a place to chill and listen to Trance and House music. Owned and operated by Panjana Capristo and KatharinaKonrad, these two ladies put in work to create this beautiful venue. On Saturday July 11th, KMH opened for the first time with a live event packed weekend featuring talented singers Paul Nowles and Wolfie Moonshadow of Moonlight Music. With plenty to explore in the surrounding area from shopping, beach house rental for those “private parties” and a stunning beach to dig those toes in the sand and get your tan on, Kiss Me Hard is the place to put on your itinerary this Summer. The SL Enquirer met up with Panjana and Katharina to learn more about this new hot spot.

SLE: Where are you from and how did you discover Second Life?


Panjana: I´m from south Germany, next to Munich. Well, I loved playing The Sims (you know big house, big love, big business haha) and a workmate told me about second life. And that's where it started in 2007. I quit playing after a time and made a new avatar, so this one isn't the original starting one. And now we are here, back again.

Katharina: I'm from north Germany, Lübeck. I first started playing SL around 2007. After three years my real life got too busy to continue playing SL. And now I am back again!


SLE: Nice! Do you know Our original news source began in The SIMS Online? It was called The TSO Enquirer. It’s exciting to see fellow gamers from that grid in SL! One of the greatest things about SL is the opportunity to meet people from all over the world in one community. Do you consider SL a game or an extension of real life?


Panjana: I think it's both. On the one hand, you can be whoever you wanted to be, have experiences that you might never dare to do in real life. On the other hand, there is always the person behind the screen. You always carry a bit of your "me" into the game. And of course it's real. You direct the avatar through your actions, your feelings. There are real people you meet, friendships develop, often in real life. Yes, for me it´s both because it just mixes up.

Katharina: Like Panjana I believe that it is both. At the one side it is a computer game on the other side there are real people behind the avatars. These people have feelings and a real life just like me. And of course you meet people with which you can have fun together and maybe you can start a friendship in real life too. So it is for me a little bit like reality.


SLE: Absolutely! What inspired the name of your venue and brought you two together to create Kiss Me Hard Club & Beach Lounge?


Panjana: Well, we know each other in real life. One day we talked about second life and how successful we were there. The thought didn't let me go and the next day I was there again. The Name, yes the name. I think I said it, but I wouldn't have thought of it without Katharina. So she can answer that better.






Katharina: Yes, the name of the venue..... I'm a fan of the swiss DJ , Dj Antoine. At the time we started in SL he recently released his new single Kiss me hard, and so the name of our venue was born.

SLE: There are two areas, the club and the beach lounge, Since this is a new venue, can you tell our readers a little bit about each and what your plans are?

Panjana: First we planned only the club. By searching the events we saw that there are a great number of live music events, so we decided to get a small stage as well. Our plan. To be successful with our new venue *smiles* and having a lot of fun and good music.

Katharina: I want to add that in the end we do not only want to make music. But we also want to experiment with different things. Like standup comedians for example. I'm still in the process of trying to convince Panjana that we should host a karaoke show as well.

Panjana: never said anything against Katharina ;) But don´t forget mud catching *laughs*


SLE: Karaoke is fun to watch. That’s a great idea. Besides open mic, What kind of music and events will you be hosting at KMH?


Panjana: Various events, live music of all genres. Every musician is welcome. At the club the main theme is trance/house

Katharina: At the club we also play club sounds and we want to make themed parties. Like 80's Parties, Halloween Parties, Black and white Parties,etc.


SLE: What types of live events will you be hosting and how often?

Panjana: Various:) We try to offer a wide range of live musicians. The plan is doing events from Wednesday till Sunday. Let's see.


SLE: Are you hiring? If so, what positions are available?

Panjana: Yes, still looking for all. Hosts, Dancers, DJ´s, Live Musician, Live Artist






SLE: Do you have shops & beach houses currently for rent?

Panjana: Funny you ask. We really have. We have a few shops beside the club waiting for rentals.

Katharina: In addition we have skyboxes as well to rent. Our shops have a special offer, 1 week for free.

SLE:Sounds like you have your plans all laid out and ready to go! Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers about Kiss Me Hard Club & Beach Lounge?

Panjana: I hope we get the chance to offer a great venue to all of you with good music by a nice beach flair. But we need your help to survive.

Katharina: Like Panjana said, I hope that we have a great time together with our guests and artists. For sure it's not easy to keep the venue alive, therefore we need your help. So let's pop up the champagne and let's party together.

LUXURY IN YOUR SECONDLIFE – SPOTLIGHT ON LUXORY AND WILLOWDALE ESTATES- JOSH BELLIC REPORTING

“If you’re gonna live twice, why not live your Second Life in Luxury?”

And what better place to live that luxury than Luxory Estates and Willowdale Estates

The dictionary defines Luxury as: the state of great comfort and extravagant living.  This aptly captures the look and feel of life at “Luxory and Willowdale Estates” properties.

Two of SecondLife’s best and brightest minds, Imagin Illyar of Willowdale Estates, and Vanity Bonetto of Luxory Estates have teamed up to provide the quintessential land purchasing experience, unmatched anywhere on the entire grid.  

Immediately after landing at the sales pavilion, I was greeted by Andrea DeLauren, one of their courteous and highly professional staff.  This was no “sales bot”, but was an honest to goodness sales associate who knows the business and the details about their properties inside and out.  In fact, I was to learn that Luxory and Willowdale have a crew of eight such sales associates, providing an available agent 24/7.

I learned that Willowdale offers high-end professionally landscaped homesteads as well as full prim parcel land, and their newest product – the full homesteads.  Being a novice to the world of land purchasing, I asked Andrea, just what IS a “homestead”, and how does it differ from other properties? She told me that In SL there are two different types of sims.... "Homesteads" and "Full Prim".  Homesteads are sims with 5k prims capacity and Full Prim sims have 20k or 30K prims in total. In homestead sims you find bigger plots, usually more private... but with less prims... In Full Prim sims you get more neighbors, smaller parcels but much more prims for the price.  

Despite being one of the busiest women in SecondLife, I was able to catch up with Imagin Illyar and ask her a few questions about the Luxory and Willowdale Estates partnership.

Josh Bellic: So tell me, Imagin, what was it that turned you onto the idea of managing properties in SecondLife?

Imagin Illyar:  I bought my first sim 3 months after first joining Second Life back in 2008.  I knew as soon as I realized there was such a thing as an estate that I wanted to run one.  I enjoyed virtual landscaping from the very beginning. Making beautiful spaces is my passion and after 11 years of it I still feel as though I can't get enough.

JB: Do you, personally, own a home in Luxory Estates or Willowdale Estates and what is the difference between the two groups?  

II:  Luxory and Willowdale started out as separate estates but we merged them in December 2017.  I had known Vanity Bonetto, the owner, for many years and by joining our estates Willowdale has been able to grow and expand far beyond what I was able to do on my own.  56 sims have been added to Willowdale since merging with Luxory. It was a smart move, and yes, I make my home at Willowdale :)

JB:  What is it that makes Luxory Estates - Willowdale Estates. different from all the rest?

II:  The first thing people will notice is the landscaping.  Our tenants can also switch landscaping styles upon request. I have developed a system that allows me to do a switch in 10 minutes so you don't have to actually move to get a fresh new look for your homestead. Our sims are far above and beyond what is typical in SL, but it's the dedicated 24/7 customer service that really makes us stand out.  I know anyone can say that but our occupancy rate is usually around 95% and it's because we treat our tenants very well.

JB:  Tell me about the partnership between Luxory Estates and Willowdale  Estates? Has there been a real synergy when you decided to come together?  

II:  I ran Willowdale myself for 11 years and partnered with Vanity Bonetto of Luxory Estate in December of 2017. Since then 56 new sims have been added for a current total of 86 - and we are planning even more significant growth for the next year.  Vanity and I are a great team - I do the creative work and she runs the business end. Her highly-trained sales staff are the best in the business. We have both benefited greatly from the partnership. Vanity Bonetto and I are a perfect team.  I'm a creative type and she's the most talented business person I've ever met.  As I mentioned, we knew each other for many years before actually joining the estates.  In retrospect we should have done it from the beginning.  We've both benefited greatly from the merger.

JB:  Do you have plans for expansion?  Maybe create common use areas, like a community pool or clubhouses for use by fellow property owners?

II:  Absolutely!  Full homesteads are a new product for Willowdale and the reception has been overwhelming.  It has become difficult to keep them in stock! I very much enjoy creating new layouts for them and I hope that this growth momentum will continue for many years.  We have 4 different styles available so far and I hope to add the 5th any day now. The homestead styles I create are very unique from anything you will find elsewhere on the grid.

I've created many different common areas for tenants in the past they didn't work out.  I find that people in SL think they want common areas on estates but once provided they just don't get used.  There are a great many places that offer entertaining things for people to do in Second Life, what I provide is a peaceful and private place to come home to when you're done with that.  I've decided to just focus on doing what I do best and it's been working very well.
