NEW YORK AND SECOND LIFE -- June 23, 2014 — STUDIO 777™ (CAPEX: FUN), the #1 Skill Gaming Nightclub, Mall and Resort in the Second Life® virtual world since 2009, announced today that it has closed its previously announced initial public offering of shares of its common stock. STUDIO 777 sold 4,000,000 shares in the offering, representing 20% of the Company, resulting in net proceeds of approximately L$5,760,600 Linden Dollars after deducting the underwriting commissions.

Social Media plays an important role in how many people
network and socialize in today’s technological age. It provides a digital place
to share information, photo and videos with the masses at the click of a
button.
There are a variety of social networks available across the web that
provide a presence for free and can certainly replace the high costs of
advertising if you know how to use them. Facebook is the most widely used
social media network available today but because of their terms of service,
many virtual world residents are finding themselves locked out and unable to
expand their following because avatars are not considered “real people”. Some
would agree that avatars are not while the business side of virtual worlds
disagrees as it hinders their ability to grow their business without this vital
social media tool.
Xandria Winterwolf created a social media network that
was designed to cater to Avatar not such in Second Life but in virtual worlds
as a whole. It provides the same concept as the “real world” social media

What's the Wildest Thing You've Ever Done In SL?- Ccoursey reporting...
I found out one thing when asking this question: Everyone has different thoughts of wild. The definition of wild is uncontrolled or unrestrained, especially in the pursuit of pleasure. It seems some people were prone to stop talking and avoid the question completely, leaving me to only assume they thought I meant wild as in sexual.
It doesn't have to be, and the stories I ended up with will have you chuckling, giggling, or maybe thinking along the lines that "I've gotta try that". Huge thanks to everyone who participated.
The man from this story agreed to participate as long as I kept his identity a secret. So we'll call him John Doe.

Summer Fashion and Fun Hunts for Couples in Second Life- Ccoursey Reporting...
It's always cute to mix
and match with someone. So dare your man to try to match you this summer.
A lot of the hunts this month are making that possible. The first
outfit looks awesome on or around the beach, plus what man would not tell you
that you looked great in just a towel. Plus for my Aussie it was close to
his favorite state- "The one were you don't have to wear clothes".
(Facepalm). The Life's a Beach Hunt is only 2L an object, you are
looking for sandals or thongs as the Aussie says. This outfit came from
B-Dazzled. Hint for females is "Hope it Doesn't Get Dirty" and
the male gift hint is "Check to See if My Shoe is on the Right Foot".
Textures and the colors just pop making it an eye catching find this summer.

Spotlight on ChicagoSax- Bringing real life musical expertise to the Virtual world, Sunny Love Holiday Reporting
Chicagosax Resident is one of the fastest rising stars on the
Second Life (SL) live musical performance scene to date. Taking into
consideration of his musical expertise, it easy to understand why. Chicagosax
is known in real life (RL) as George Buetow, a founding member the 1960’s
garage band "The Missing Link"s.
This group of 4 talented musicians used
self-development and discipline to work their way up the Chicago music scene,
and opened for the Rolling Stones in 1965. The group was later reformed in
1968, and those members became the group known around the world as
"Chicago". With all that musical background, it is no wonder why his
venue, called Chicago's Place, is a popular place for music lovers to
congregate.
Together with a team of highly skilled professional
consultants, Chicagosax carefully planned out the venues design, sound business
practices, and talent searches to ensure a high quality musical experience.
Chicago's place currently has 11 performers. With only 3 of them being Djs, the
venue is jumping with live performances featuring Jazz and Blues shows as well
as Pop/Rock shows. There are also some exciting professional artists who are
about to make their Second Life debuts in the next few months live at Chicago
Place.
In the near future, The Chicago's Place exclusive VIP section
will be open. This will be a place where performers will be able to have small
private concerts, where the artists talks to their audience about their
experiences in the music business. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak of
this VIP section along with a grand tour of the venue when I met up with Mr.
Chicagosax earlier this week. Truly being humbled by the fact that he took time
out of his busy schedule to show me around and answer a few questions.

Relay For Life of Second Life announces a new sponsorship
Relay For Life of Second Life Steering Committee is proud to announce an exciting new sponsorship for this year. The committee has invited radio stations in Second Life to team up as Media Partners.
They will be able to set a fundraising pledge and help raise funds for cancer research. In return, each Media Partner will have a site along Media Row at Relay Weekend, be able to advertise on the Relay sims, have 1 hour of broadcast time during the 2014 Relay and much more!

style sock hop! So put on your 50's garb and come enjoy that feel good music

voice will stir your soul! Her wide range of songs from many genres is sure to

Studio 777 Goes Public- Interview with Luke Slingshot - Piers Diesel Reporting
Studio 777 is like the Vegas of
Second Life. It is an institution in SL business which offers the residents not
only the option of skill gaming and winning money but also entertainment. Studio
777 also offer residents the chance to find virtual employment not only with
the company but with other companies in Second Life as well.
It is not surprising when Studio 777 announced that they were going
public allowing residents in Second Life to be shareholders. Finally residents
were able to buy shares. 60% of shares
were sold out within an hour on that first day. The owner of Studio 777 Luke
Slingshot and his team surprised but also knew that residents who were buying
shares could see that this was a business to invest in now and for the future.
I was able to chat with Luke about the success of going public and also
about Studio 777.
