Relay for Life is an amazing organization. It was founded in real life in 1985, and they established the organization in Second Life in 2004. The expansion of Relay for Life once they started in Second Life is tremendous; this season alone there are 96 teams, and over 2,000 relayers and the season hasn't even started! This season starts March 10th, 2012, and it's expected to be a great season this year. As the season's premiere approaches, I got to sit down with some of the people who help make Relay for Life possible.

Second Life as a medium of artistic expression flourishes thanks to efforts and venues like those of the Chilbo Museum.
Now close to completing five years of showcasing works of in-world artists and treasured portfolios of art collectors, the museum ushered in its 2012 season in the Winter/Spring exhibit, Clarity of Vision, featuring the output from the creative lens of the award-winning photographer, Jewel Appletor.

Time and time over again, it has been proven that man has always been fascinated with fight games that pit one with another -- from gladiator style arenas to underground fight clubs to animal
derbies to modern day boxing. Perhaps it is the thrill of bloodlust, or maybe the morbid fascination of observing one fight for survival, or perhaps just the excitement of tempting the fates and
wondering if the gods will favor the one you bet on this time. Whatever it is, people would certainly want to see and experience brutal brawls.

There comes a time when you take on so many projects at once, you start to lose track of which ones have priority. What makes it even more difficult is when digital reality starts to bleed over into the default world.

Nonprofit organizations are an important and crucial part of Second Life. They help out with real world issues, but in Second Life and that interests me. I could go on forever about all the nonprofits, but there are a few that I chose to cover specifically: The Giving Circles Network, Project Jason, and NSW Animal Rescue.

Proposers Expo -- Pandora Drezelan Reporting

Poses and animations play a very big part in our Second Life, from the AO’s we use to our every day poses. There is an animation and a pose for just about everything in Second Life. Poses depict our stance, walk, style and makes us as individual or unusual as we want our avatar to be.
Recently, I went to the Proposers sim for their fundraising expo for The Autism Society Of America (ASA).
I spoke with Pollux Baxton (Proposers owner) and Samara Pennell (Proposers manager) in regards to the expo.
