Second Life Terms of Service- Nomad Aries Reporting…
On August 15th, 2013 Second Life users were issued a new Terms of
Service Agreement upon logging into this virtual world. If you are here,
then you accepted the new TOS Agreement License.
There are major
differences between the preceding TOS and the new TOS. One difference in
particular has caused uproar amongst Content Creators in Second Life, with good
reason.

Marina Ramer: Modern-day Aphrodite and her Delicious Meals of Love- Mikile Vinciolo Reporting…

It was a crisp, warm, breezy morning when I dropped in
Shopping city, a sim-wide Tuscan city that houses Aphrodite Shop goods. The
city was minutely bustling with clientele for this time of morning.
Marina was standing, awaiting my arrival as she towered over
my virtual being, partially rezzed. She was clad in all black, a dramatic
contrast to the Valentine's Day decorum, flora and fauna, and delicious
romantic culinary fare. We retrieve a bistro-style table, presumably her
creation, and she offers me coffee. I take a sip and snap out of my drowsy
stupor, as it was needed to handle this lady-on-the-move. She immediately takes
this look of enthusiasm and readiness that I had to honor with the swiftness.
So, I obliged and immediately delved into the conversation that I so excitedly
looked forward from the moment we had agreed to huddle for a glimpse into her
life.

In Second Life we are fortunate to have a
vast genre of music to suit everyone’s taste in music.
Indie music and the indie underground
movement in Second Life, is as popular as it is in Real Life. The three genre
of music which dominates the Second Life music scene are:
- Tech/dance/trance
- Indie
- Country
Indie music is a genre of alternative rock that originated in the
United Kingdom and the United States in the 1980s. Indie bands in Real Life
such as the Artic Monkeys, Babyshambles, Beck, Kasabian and many more can be
heard spinning from the DJs in Second Life. However, you
will find a lot more underground indie groups which may not have made it main
stream but have a good following of fans.
