Your generous donation to WWP helps thousands of Wounded Warriors - and their families - as they return home from the current conflicts. When a warrior faces challenges, the family experiences those challenges along with their warrior. We support family members who suddenly find they are serving as full-time supporters or caregivers.

The WWP RL group started by Frets Nirvana has always put the vets first and We strive to make sure every person we come across that we meet at the concerts and venue houses get to see how we work and see that the funds truly go to the RL WWP corp.
Hardcore (jardasius.ecksol): I been serving almost 11 years now and have friends that have comeback hurt and some of them have been helped by the WWP in RL and its good to see that after  238 years since the country was founded we finally have an organization to help out the wounded men and women who fight to keep us all free. Ms. Sweethearts Pageant- Ccoursey Reporting....

Forty two women in Second Life put their best foot forward to become the next Ms. Sweethearts.  This weekend four out of the five ladies chosen through the public vote all stepped forward to compete in the Ms. Sweethearts Pageant.

 Shannon Bramlington the owner and coordinator told me each applicant had to be over thirty days old, unaffiliated with any other club in SL, and a Sweethearts group member. They had to write a small biography to give the public a glimpse of their personality and to learn about them.

Observing Memorial Day in the Real & Virtual Worlds- Silky Soulstar Reporting...

MEMORIAL DAY observances ranging from the sublime to the obviously salacious abound in Second Life; and are open to everyone from all corners of the Globe, and from every space found in our cozy little metaverse.

I’ve always found it impressive when I meet people from just about any country you can imagine, and yet they KNOW very well about my USA holidays.  Monday, May 26, 2014 is MEMORIAL DAY in the United States.  It is a day of recognition of our past and present military servicewomen and servicemen.  And it is particularly a day of remembrance for our fallen heroes, like my own Uncle and Godparent.

Although it is celebrated with a special day of observation in the U.S., I find it touching that it is also acknowledged by my global friendships.  And for that I am grateful, as well as proud.

Our Avatars exist in a metaverse, but are guided by RL people with hearts and souls.  So it is with honor, really, that I write this destination guide for the SL Enquirer about how our unique virtual world recognizes the very REAL sacrifices made by living souls, working to ultimate ends to keep peace for global citizens.

At Veterans Isle (192, 201, 23) you will find an in-world replica of the Real Life monument that reads 

“HERE RESTS IN HONORED GLORY AN AMERICAN SOLDIER KNOWN BUT TO GOD”.

   If you are looking for a great place to spend a few moments of reverence this Monday, May 26^th 2014, the U.S. Military Veterans Center is a must-see destination for your teleporter.  You can also donate to the Wounded Warrior Project while you are there.

Relay Stock Raised over 1.5 Million Lindens Hosted by The Relay Rockers

This past weekend the Relay Rockers hosted Relay Stock a multi-team event headlined by the conclusion of the team's Celebrate Remember Fight Back Top DJ Competition. 

 The event which raised more than L$1.5 million, was held in Relay dAlliez, the team's Relay For Life dedicated sim. The sim was transformed to a 60s era outdoor rock festival complete with Hippie VW buses, tie-died tents and yep.. Mud!

Second Life gives her the ability to open up and share her passion with people from around the world.  Rose is a very shy person and suffers from a bit of stage fright. Nashville Music Row: A Place to See, a Place to Hear- DoctorKaren Kanto Reporting..

Nashville Music Row is both a representation of Nashville, Tennessee and a live music venue. Nashville is, of course, home of The Grand Ole Opry music hall and mecca for country music fans and performers world-wide. 

The sim offers a guided tour carriage ride featuring Music Park, Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry, Tootsies Orchid Lounge, The Stage, and the Bluebird Café, all rendered as closely to their RL sources as possible and accompanied by both auditory and note card information about the RL sites. Here you will find a wide menu of live performances and may even be greeted by Ms Patsy Cline (in bot form) offering you group membership and event updates.

I visited Nashville Music Row and was impressed with the build overall. Especially with how much information was available about the various sights there. Even in the middle of the night when no one was around, it was an interesting place to explore. I even found myself trying to converse with Ms Patsy Cline and ask her about the sim until I realized that she was actually a bot. :) When I brought my partner, who had been to RL Nashville several times, she said the main buildings were, in fact, very good replicas.
